I wanted to go to Akiho Onsen in OKU zashiki in Sendai once. We stayed one night for trip to Tohoku. Hotel was brand new and SO CLEAN! Location: Literally 3 min walk from station. If you have luggae, it's tricky: come out on 2nd floor, going through connected bridge and use elevator at PARCO then ground level and hotel is next door. Great location walk to everywhere, has beautiful starbucks downstairs. Morning market is right behind the hotel; we were hoping that we could get some breakfast early in am. When we went at 8am, not many stores were open yet. We were able to get local strawberries for decent price and it was really good. Room: Got Relax Twin Room. Has electric massage chair in room with corner views. Views were not that great but room was very spacious, hollywood twins. Separate tub/shower and vanity was very nice, very nice decor. Coin Laundry: This hotel has coin laundry (all-in-one with dryer) and that's the reason why we stayed. We were able to see if Washer is in use or not with room TV which was GREAT. I felt we could have stayed other 2 nights (stayed at Metropolitan East due to its location) at Daiwa, it was very nice stay. Brand new, clean hotel in great location and great rates. I'd go back again next time next time!
