Top 10 Al Lago Hotels

Stayed for four nights with my husband in June as part of my 50th birthday celebrations! Lovely hotel; great location with a view across to Grazalema. We took a walk into Grazalema. There’s not a lot of shade on the walk but it was well worth it. Take a left by the pool and right by the cow (yes cow!). When you get to the main road just go across and slightly to the right to reach Grazalema by the Roman road. It’s a lovely place to wander and get a drink. Couldn’t face the walk back though and got a taxi. The pool was very welcoming on our return. Short drive to Ronda so this made a very good base. We ate off the menu a couple of times - burger, healthy burger and pizza - which was great, but the breakfast and evening buffets were superb and well worth it.

We stayed at El Horcajo in early October for one night. It was beautiful and very peaceful location and was a welcoming and charming place to stay. It is situated half an hour from Ronda and it's a world apart. The farm is in a valley surrounded by the mountains. It's a wonderful place to base yourself for the area to visit the White Villages and take hikes and walks, which are endless. The staff couldn't be more friendly and and the evening meals are excellent. The pool was well-kept and it was a unique experience to swim to the sound of goats and sheeps. We would happily return!

Hotel de la cadena Tugasa, buena reserva en atencion y simpatia,limpio,ordenado y en cojunto como todo lo de la cadena.El servicio de hotel muy atento,y el de restaurante amables,atentos y dispuestos a cualquier sugerencia, cena adecuada y bien presentada, el desayundo de buffet justo,pero con lo necesario para ser un desayuno,gran descuento para los mayores de 65 se agradece y para los asosiados a Tugasa. la piscina no la disfrutamos en los dos dias por premura de tiempo y por que la estaban adecuando, pero sera una gozada en verano. Dos cosas a destacar negativas con facil solucion,la factura es un poco liada con eso de los descuentos pero el personal lo soluciono imediatamente y eso de no tener dos mesillas de noche es un fastidio, por mucho decorador que lo dijera, una persona bien y la otra deja sus cosas en el suelo (ole el decorador) no lo llegare a entender por mucho que me lo expliquen, los experimentos son a veces ............. sin comentarios ( que coste que el personal me dijo que me subirian una) a lo que yo dije que no,por no ser mas que nadie, pero tomen nota y el decorador a la NASA

The hotel is similar to a homestay, I think it is too simple. Very suitable for self-driving tours. If you travel to Longda, this hotel is very recommended, if you have a car. It takes 10 minutes to drive to the attractions. The room is good and cheap and very clean.

We stayed one night at this lovely little hotel, located at the very top of Zahara. We had an amazing view of the lake from our room - truly breathtaking. The room was very affordable, small but very clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was simple but nice. The staff does not speak much English but were very accommodating and nice. Just a few metres from the hotel is the entrance to the climb up the stairs to the castle. The walk is recommended. I would visit this hotel again.

Such a lovely hotel great views very comfortable rooms and it’s so authentic amazing value. The swimming pool is lovely and peaceful and has great views of the mountains. We did not eat at hotel apart from breakfast but it is a short walk into village where there are some lovely tapas bars and restaurants.
