I like this hotel very few people, I feel comfortable on vacation, although it is at the highest point of the town, but the scenery along the way to the hotel along the Panshan Highway is also very good

The room is small but well-appointed, with a Nespresso machine and a very useful water heater. Shampoo, hand soap, and lotion are provided, but you'll need to bring your own other toiletries. I had a mountain view room, but the lake view rooms probably offer a better scenic view. What I liked most was the hotel's breakfast—delicious! You need to order scrambled eggs and bacon from a server who will come around and ask if you'd like them, while other items are buffet-style. The staff were all polite, but some employees were noticeably more enthusiastic and smiled more when interacting with Western guests, whereas with us, they were polite but a bit cold.

The hotel is located in a very remote mountain area, so I wouldn't recommend staying there unless you're driving. The hotel offers a beautiful view of the opposite hillside, but you can't see anything on rainy days. At over 5000 RMB per night, the price felt very low. The rooms were quite old, but still spacious. Extra beds for children cost an extra 100+ USD. The breakfast was poor; you had to order fried eggs or better dishes separately. The swimming pool was small; it was more like a spa. Free parking was a nice touch.

The service was excellent, warm and welcoming. They provided pick-up and drop-off service, complimentary homemade jam at check-out, and even brought two bottles of water knowing we were taking the train. The facilities were superb. The sauna was especially comfortable, featuring a Finnish sauna, steam room, indoor and outdoor hot springs, and a facility I'd never seen before. We didn't see any staff in the sauna and massage area, ensuring excellent privacy, and the facilities were complete. However, note that it's a ”naturalistic” mixed-gender bath. The restaurant faces Spiez Bay, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, offering picturesque scenery. You can order à la carte items like coffee, fried eggs, and omelets. The breakfast was also delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is very well-maintained; although it's over a century old, it doesn't feel dated at all. Our bay-view room offered stunning views of Lake Thun during the day, the sunset painting the castle in the evening, and the moonlight reflecting on the calm lake at night. Spiez is a beautiful town, like a paradise. It's very convenient for traveling to Interlaken, Grindelwald, and Zermatt. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the opportunity to visit.

The hotel has its own hot spring pool, which is great! The first time I came to the town of Loykbard, the town was very quiet, but the living facilities were complete, very suitable for vacation and recuperation, will come again!

The hotel's internal facilities are outdated, and it can't be compared with the same star in China; breakfast will not be mentioned, there is nothing to eat at all. The temperature of the outdoor hot water pool is too low to take it out.

The scenery in the blue lake is good, the entrance ticket is free, the live fish is very delicious

Room is nice but without lift

The hotel is beautiful. It is clean and renovated. Our room has the best view too. We checked in earlier. The reception is very helpful and friendly. Parking lot is 2 minutes by foot. And the highlights, direct access to the Thermal bath, Saunas and Roman Bath. We enjoyed our 2-night stay this autumn. It was perfect, my children enjoyed a lot of play areas around too. Restaurants are all over once you get out of the hotel. Every corner there is just beautiful and magical. Next time we go there in winter as they say it’s another kind beauty.
