Negative reviews in the past few months The championship course was lush and green and the. Greens were well maintained the. 9 golfers enjoyed the course . The hotels was spotlessly clean rooms were as good as ever Also the. Breakfast was good and plenty of choice . Check in was painless very smooth And as ever the staff at the hotel from the front desk to the pro shop were. Pleasant and very helpful and we will be back. In 2025

We were warmly greeted by staff and personnel who are clearly proud of Vilafoia and its surroundings. Very helpful in every aspect: finding/booking restaurants, arranging yoga lessons, tastings, guided (walking) tours, or any of the many other things to do in the surroundings. Henk and Michel did a great job in turning this place into an excellent B&B. The B&B location gives you a beautiful view which can as well be enjoined from the nice swimming pool or jacuzzi. We had room 9 which was very spacious, had a living space/kitchenette and a sleeping space. Bathroom with Rituals products and the kitchen had a large fridge and a Nespresso machine. From our balcony we could enjoy the beautiful view al the way to Portimão. High quality breakfast with fresh (warm) bread from the local bakker, everything you would expect from a decent breakfast and Nespresso coffee. And very important: we enjoyed breakfast everyday out on the terrace with again that magnificant view. During the day it’s possible to order small things from their “ pool menu” (like a toasty, fruit salade, etc) and around the clock you can get drinks, coffee/tea, crisps, nuts, etc from their well-stocked self-service fridge/station. Tip on an off-day: we grabbed a bottle of sparkling wine and enjoyed the experience from the hot jacuzzi! All in all a fantastic B&B experience. Thank you, Henk, Michel and team. Very good hotel. Very secluded, ideal for those seeking some peace. Nice area, great pool and well-kept golf course. Large, modern rooms with balcony / terrace. Worthwhile evening buffet. Enjoyed the time there.

Good stay, but the apartments could be better, there were no curtains on the kitchen windows and slightly uncomfortable beds

I stayed here for a week the room had a problem with shower toilet headboard and glass partition on balcony none of the above bothered me as I still found the hotel to be basic but alright, however I am gluten free, whilst they had special guests stopping they couldn't cater enough so first three days where brilliant, when the special guests checked out the gluten free bread cakes and quasisnts were no longer an option the gluten free sausages were also not an option, I asked staff which were rude and said if have issue raise with reception, I found it easier to buy my own bread for the rest of the holiday and just have beans from the breakfast buffet, would have definitely recommend to coeliac friends and family however seems they can only cater when they have special guests which is ashame

Room was very comfortable, clean and beds were nice.Air con worked well when all doors and windows are shuts properly. Bathroom was spacious and hot water. Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety 👌 Staff were fine but not over welcoming with greetings. Paulo was helpful though. No outside pool as shown in pictures, this was a let down for us as we wanted to swim and relax by pool with sun. Indoor looked okay but didn't use it . Location was a 15 min walk to restaurants but uber is available too. Beaches were busy and okay. Seen lots of nicer beaches in Europe 🇪🇺 Ciao
