"Me and my mother was in town for my aunts funeral. We arrived Last Thursday and checked out Sunday. Everyone was wonderful with the exception of one of the brekfast attendance that spoke to soon and was NOT observant. All of the front desk clerks was amazing very nice, curtesous, professional, concerned. Jeff waas my chek out agent and his smile can brighting up any dark room. The 1 bedroom suite was nice roomy and comfortable. Thank You for making this trip a little bit easier for us... 10 STARS"
"Lisa, Jackie and "Cacilla" was so attentive, knowledgeable and kind. Check in to Breakfast was everything a hotel should be! Clean suite. Good breakfast with a variety of delicious food. Every employee contact we had was good. No complaints. "
"Everything was simple and easy from check-in to check-out upon arrival the front desk clerks controlled the crowd of customers waiting to be assisted. Breakfast was amazing and check was smoother than check-in. "

"I’ve been a Marriott member for many years, stay at a Marriott owned hotel once a month on average, in various locations. And while the “fun” and “funkiness” of the Aloft lobby (yes there is a bar and game tables) and pool area is unique, I was sorely disappointed in the basic care and amenities. First the hallways were not clean. I’m assuming this is due to rare vacuuming and the pets. Secondly the only blanket in the room is one on the bed so thin that you can see through it. Even turning the heat on, (yes it gets cold in FL), it did not make for a comfortable sleep. (If you request another one it’s the same kind so ask for two.) Third, if you like to enjoy a glass of wine in your room but need access to an opener, they don’t keep one at the front desk, or with the concierge, or even housekeeping. The only available wine opener is the single one behind the bar. So you will have to take your battle to the bar to be opened by the bartender (if they can find the opener....which they couldn’t... and there is only one....) Finally, while someone came into my room and made the bed and took the towels (used and unused), they did not clean/wipe down anything, vacuum, restock the coffee, nor did they replace any of the linens. Which is really inconvenient when you return from a 12 hr work day, start to undress for a shower, only to find all the towels and washcloths are gone (as was your spare see through blanket.) One would think that they could just contact housekeeping to bring them towels, however in the evening and night hours, Aloft only has 2 people on staff: the front desk and shuttle driver. So if driver is out, your happy but has to get redressed and go to the front desk to pick up towels. (Thank god the single persons that worked the desk are so nice as they are having to handle so many customers and needs all alone!) Oh and just a travel tip note—no reheating of food is available in this hotel. And bath products is soap and shampoo only (no conditioner, lotion, etc) I came away feeling as if all the bling and “fun” in the lobby is to distract you from noticing the missing Marriott standard. In fact I’ve had better customer care and cleaner rooms at a Motel 8."
"I’ve seen some of the negative reviews. I really think most of those bad experiences are rarities and not the norm at Aloft. I traveled for work for 25 years. I spent a lot of time in different chain’s over the years. Once in awhile you run into a bad night. Usually you can get it addressed pretty quickly. There are exceptions but, you can find that in any business. I just spent 4 nights in Aloft. 2 nights in Jacksonville Airport and 2 nights in the other Jacksonville location. I must say I was very pleased with everything about our stay. We have been members of the Marriott rewards program for years and love their hotels. What attracted us to this brand was how pet friendly they are. Pets stay for free and they treat them as part of the family. Traveling with a pet can be difficult and expensive. Some Marriott properties charge as $75.00 to $200 per night. It’s always been my least favorite thing about Marriott properties before Aloft. I would suggest that the Marriott properties that are not in the premium category get more in line with the pricing in the industry. I see $25.00 a night as a reasonable price for a pet without damage to the room. Keep up the good work Aloft. We’ll be back Pete Cape Cod "
"Very personable, professional and a joy to be around. It’s people like Megan that make you want to come back!:) I stay at thousands of hotels over my 20 years of flying and for me it’s more important how you’re treated vs all the other expectations. One important recommendation is that you start using eco friendly and plant based cleaners with essential oils. Whatever you’re using, your staff uses way too much and it always smells like a chemical factory at every Aloft I’ve ever stayed at. Other than that my stay was excellent because of your friendly staff, especially Megan;)!"

"The hotel desk staff was excellent but this covered many failures over a three day period. The Fitness Center machines were dirty, TV's inoperative and the cleaning rag dispenser was bone dry demonstrating a lack of cleanliness. The rooms have paper thin walls and I was awaken all three nights with neighbor noise. OK but annoying at 0330. The room had dents and was dirty. Broken tiles on the floors and in the elevators and just overall dated and damage to wood furnishing everywhere. With the COVIT 19 starting to be an issue I was shocked at the lack of cleanliness. I swabbed my phone, flat surfaces, switches and door knobs and came up dark brown with dirt, Edges of bathrooms tiles had dust fur as did the light switches. One day they forgot to empty the trash, 2 days no soap or shampoo left, 1 day no coffee left, 1 day no coffee cups. The Front desk always supported replacements but you shouldn't have to ask everyday for service items. Breakfast was excellent but the floor area was sticky underfoot. Internet was excellent and easy assess to the airport BUT... Not up to Marriott standards"
"We needed a place to stop on our journey and this was it. Nice, clean, updated, safe, convenient. TONS of nearby restaurants! The breakfast was closed due to that 'rona mess, but I asked for a discount because of it and they obliged. Close to the beach, 30 min?"
"Pros: Quiet area next to a Zaxby’s . Near airport, several Convenience stores. Adequate parking. Cons: Filthy rooms. Worn furniture. I couldn’t take a shower until housekeeping came back after check in THE NEXT DAY. Hairs in tub and on shower wall. Was promised a room change by one employee that assured me when she got to work the next day. She didn’t return the entire time I was there. Had to explain to another staff member to get assistance. The couch in the room was disgusting. I flipped the cushions and Lysol’d it down. The bed sheets had black skid marks on the sheets and the absolute WORST most disturbing part.....red blood like stains on the shower curtain. No way I can ever spend money with Marriott again after this poor showing. Im a Gold member with Marriott and consider myself a loyalist. Never again"

"Right off interstate, easy access, rooms were clean, comfortable and staff really helpful. It was nice to get a hot breakfast and hit the road for the rest of our trip Kitchen, had full fridge, stove top and dishwasher "
"I could only write this by putting in a specific property and my review is for Marriott across the board as possibly the most awful company I’ve ever dealt with in 35 years of travel. Specifically at this property....I stayed one night on points a few months back, usual Marriott blah, but no specific complaint.....until a month later, ANOTHER card hold for incidentals showed up out of the blue on my card. It fell off five days or so later with no charge....but the point being they were using my card to check someone in, and why does their system still have my card on file a month later? (Not the same one as in profile for booking) three phone calls with messages left both verbally with live front desk folks, two more for the GM on voicemail........and ZERO response. Also Called Marriott platinum/titanium line as I’m a Lifetime Plat. Said they would send issue to “corporate” right away. ZERO response. This I’ll named Bonvoy crap is a vulgar, useless excuse of a program. Upgrades nonexistent, response to problems nonexistent. Horribly designed properties. Starwood was not great, but Marriott has utterly ruined them. Why anyone would stay in a Marriott branded property other than to use up points is beyond me. And they should be giving me a zillion points for this misuse of my card and violation of trust, so I could have another crappy stay before using up my points! Thankfully, I have status at Hyatt, and Hilton status matched me to the top of their program."
"This residence inn is what you would expect from Marriott, friendly staff very comfortable room. Nicely equipped. I had a really early flight and they provided a free shuttle transport! Would stay again for sure."

"We stopped here after a very long day of driving. We were traveling to Port Canaveral for a cruise. We checked in super late and the desk clerk was super nice and friendly. She got us a room quickly and we were able to get a great nights rest. We also appreciate their support for the military. Very nice stay!! "
"I came in late from the road with my senior parents. I was thanked for being a Gold Elite but was not once informed at arrival nor prior to that there was renovations occuring. Once in the room, i saw that this was not an updated/remodeled CY and I knew our 1 night stay was doomed. I inspected the room as I lysoled it down. These were my findings: finger prints on the desk, dust inside the alarm clock, soap scum on the bottom of the bathroom door, soap scum and water stains on the shower wall, and the fact that the hotel badly needs remodeling. I called down and asked for a non adjoining room that was inspected because this room was not cleaned. The agent brought up keys to a room down the hall. As soon as you get off the elevator there is debris and small bits of trash on the floor, it needed vacuuming. The 2nd room was slightly better but the bathroom was covered with soap scum so I cleaned it with my lysol and prayed for the best. Not a pleasant stay for my parents and I, we wanted a quick yet nice, clean stay and it wasnt that.a waste of my points for redemption stay."
"If you would like to stay at a construction site then this is the hotel for you. They began at 8am and keep it going until 7pm. I really wish that there was some mention of this when booking. I am sure when they are done in a few months it will be a great hotel like most courtyards. But I would suggest that you avoid for now. "

"My 90-year-old mother and I received care that was above and beyond any and all expectations in a very difficult season of our lives -- the COVID 19 Pandemic. From the moment we received our welcome by Laney, the general manager, she and her staff did everything they could to make our lengthy stay with them -- we were there about 5 weeks altogether -- pleasurable and met all our needs, often asking if there was anything more they could do for us. They made us feel safe, cared for and almost like family. All the facilities were in exceptionally excellent condition and the service that was provided to us was always prompt, courteous and even kind. We grew to love each and every person on that staff, each of whom always served us graciously, even in a season when all people were under duress. We will never forget the great gift this was to us as we waited for a safe time for us to return to New York, where the pandemic was strong. Thank you to everyone. Words cannot adequately express our gratitude! Thank you, Laney and team! We love you and we will be back!"
"Booked via Amex app based on reviews and pictures from Trip Advisor. Both were accurate and we stayed in a king studio which was perfect for three nights traveling with a 2 month old. Room is spacious enough to stretch out and offers a small kitchen and a full size refrigerator. We were skeptical as we drove here as the area has several low scale accommodations on the road leading here, however, this property is directly a cross from a Sheriff department and the property is quiet and rooms themselves are very clean. The staff was friendly upon check-in and happy to assist when we decided to extend an additional night."
"I had to travel to Jacksonville for a month long work project, and after one night at a horrific Extended Stay America, I transferred to this hotel. I could not have been more satisfied with it! Very clean, and very comfortable; it made the month away from home more than bearable. The room was very modern and clean, and the kitchen setup was very nice. Jeremiah was very friendly and helpful; the air conditioner in my room failed and he had me moved out instantly and without issue. I will certainly be back here next time I travel to Jacksonville."

"We actually stayed here twice, each time for one night. The first time was at the very end of part one of our winter driving vacation. The second time was at the very beginning of part two of our winter driving vacation. In between, we left our car parked in their parking lot with their permission for a week while we flew home to do various tasks that could only be done at home. This hotel is a very typical Fairfield Inn. Nothing fancy, but very adequate. They provided pick up and drop off service to the airport. They upgraded our room to a suite because we are platinum in the Bonvoy program. And we parked our car for no additional cost. That was the true value for us in our travel scheme. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We are traveling with lots of luggage, and they have carts to help transport it to and from the room. We're glad we stayed here."
"It was very hard to get to due to construction closing off most of the streets to the hotel. CHECK-IN was easy. Our room was as requested, ...upper floor, away from the elevator and ice machine. The room was the standard mid-range hotel style, but clean. The shower ran hot, but the water did not go down and I was standing in 1 1/2 inches of water. After a call to the front desk, a maintenance man was up quite soon and fixed the situation. BUSINESS CENTER: Open and right in front of the elevator...not too private. I had to have the front desk clerk help with the printer...she finally figured out what was wrong and it printed fine. BREAKFAST: The area is "shot-gun" style...long and narrow besides being rather small. The food area, containing the usual hot/cold breakfast items, was a small "U" configuration...very congested. CHECK-OUT was easy. RECOMMENDATION: I would use this as a Park and Fly. NOTE: There is a Longhorn Steakhouse restaurant next door you can walk (3 minutes)/drive to."
"From the moment we arrived we felt like family. The ladie upgraded us we didn't ask.If you want to be comfortable definitely stay here! They gave us late check out because I'm a Marriott member. Definitely be back!"

"Hotel staff was not very friendly at check-in. Considering I’m diamond I usually get a water or snack on arrival. I got nothing . I wasn’t told anything about the new rules since the pandemic. I was charged $75 for the dog for 1 night. Our room seemed clean at first glance . We moved the footstool and found toe nail clippings under it. Yuck! The shower had mold in it. The next morning after rinsing our dishes and placing them in the dishwasher - I found other dishes sitting inside. Breakfast consists of a brown bag with juice, muffin, granola - breakfast sandwiches are available but not heated. You have to take them back to your room to heat in microwave. When I asked for coffee I was told that it was in the rooms. None available in lobby. We had - 1 cup upon arrival the night before in our room and 1 cup that morning. The desk clerk did give me a few pods along with creamer so I could go make my own in the room. My daughter stayed at a Home 2 Suites the week before in Ormond Beach and no additional pet fee was added - they had a hot breakfast of their choosing including waffles and toast. I don’t feel this hotel was up to the Hilton standards. It cost us over $200 for 1 night and wasn’t that great."
"My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel on our way north. From the moment you walk in you realize you're in for a treat. The lobby is very modern and clean with very tasteful appointments. I was immediately greeted by a young lady at the front desk who was friendly and informative and let us know about breakfast during covid19. Our room was absolutely perfect. Full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and all the utensils. I should have taken pictures to attach to this review to show how well executed the floor plan is. Not only that, but the most important thing when traveling is cleanliness and this room and hotel is spotless. Kudos to everyone involved in the operation of this hotel!!!"
"Booked through booking.com, check in was pleasant, however our room was hot, really hot, the AC was running for over an hour and still hadn't cooled off, Went to front desk and that's when Hilton won our loyalty, your front desk clerk Coi ltreal I think I am spelling it right, and maintenance staff Joey, checked the AC personally, and then immediately found us another room. The personal service was great, and the jump to action for our comfort , outstanding. Thank you "
