"The experience here was mixed and simply did not meet expectations based on price point and reviews. Pros: lovely view from the room, free upgrade to Oceanview, beach was lovely, pool was also nice, convenient to Bal Harbour Shops and easy to get an Uber to venture off property, Rich is excellent and incredibly helpful. Cons: Rooms need work as they are beginning to show signs of wear and tear. Our room in the Haulover Tower was ridiculously loud and not restful. Every morning beginning around 8.30, the staff frequently banged the door across the hall from our room doing God knows what. This would go on for hours. Forget trying to sleep in or even just relax in the room in the morning. It was so horrendous. After we switched hotels, we had a much better night's sleep. Room service was hit or miss. They could be hard to get on the phone and then they'd forget things and you had to debate if it was worthwhile to call and wait for whatever missing item. One morning, after trying to contact room service for over an hour, my pancakes arrived uncooked. So disgusting. My sister and I are younger than their usual demographic and I believe our service by the pool (which was incredibly slow) and the pool (nonexistent) suffered accordingly. Staff needs training as we were paying guests just like everyone else entitled to the same level of service. Also, I had to call guest services multiple times before simple requests were fulfilled. To top it all off, one of the staff harassed me to write a nice review as I was trying to leave. I've never seen this at a luxury hotel. Ever. I don't view this as living up to the Ritz brand (one of my favorite luxury hotels). Can't say I'd recommend or return." "This is my fifth year coming to this hotel and I couldn’t say enough good things! My favorite part are the queen size day beds on the beach! The people that help on the beach are the best! Especially Vinny! They take such good care of you. Do yourself a favor and book a room and then get a queen size day bed on the beach!" "My wife and I stayed here for several days and I must say, the service from all staff was exceptional. A special shoutout to Ein who took it to the next level. I would 100% recommend and definitely will return!"

"This hotel is too poor, and will never live again! ! The environment is not bad, but the service is too bad. Let me have a fire during my stay. My girlfriend and I don't like it very much. At the beginning of the check-in, let us prompt you to order the card on the Internet when you booked the hotel, saying that there are many credit card frauds in Miami. I canceled my room without taking the card. Later I needed to re-swipe my card with my own card. My UnionPay card has been brushed twice for 500$ bank display deduction, they also said that it did not pass, I want to use Visa or Master. It’s been a long time to stay. Then at the front desk, the staff stepped on the foot. I was wearing beach slippers and was directly trampled. In the end, I did not apologize and gave me a band-aid. I still can't stick it. You need to go to the pharmacy to buy a band-aid. Finally, my girlfriend forgot a pajamas in the room, called back, and they did not help to find out directly. In short, stayed a stomach fire. There is no five-star service at this hotel. The environment is good, but it is enough to drink, eat and eat. Living here is not very worth it! It is better to go to a branded hotel and the service is good. We regret that we didn't live in the next door, the service is better, and the lobby looks like a higher grade." "The hotel environment is very good. The so-called sea view can only be probed out from the balcony, which is different from the sea view we understand. The hotel said that the room that directly saw the sea was called "ocean front" and we were the ocean view. At first, I was disappointed. After complaining The hotel has upgraded a suite with sea view. Although it has been upgraded, it still has a balcony and a little sea view. Can only say that this hotel is really expensive
But the hotel facilities and services are really super good! Worth it worth it, the hotel is awesome" "I read the little red book and specially booked this hotel. The imagination and reality are a little different. The service is not bad. There are a lot of people in the pool. If you take a photo, you have to go around 5 o'clock. There are three swimming pools, one is on the top floor, there is no beauty on the picture. But it is okay, the room is a bit like the feeling of a hotel apartment, and the charges are unreasonable. The hotel is not good, there is a sushi restaurant nearby and a lobster ramen is especially delicious."

"We just finished a lovely getaway and stay at the St. Regis. From our warm welcome at check in… Terri was the sweetest. Lucas and Hector at the Beach were wonderful. Antwan at valet always had a great smile to greet us, and send us off. The room was beautiful. Housekeeping did an amazing job. You would never see or hear them, but the rooms sparkled. The turn down service was great with nice touches like the lavender pillow spray. The bed was very comfortable. Lovely balcony.. nice for room service breakfast. This property is well staffed.. everyone super friendly and happy to help. The rooms were peacefully quiet. Well done to all and thank you. Can’t wait to return!" "This property has an outstanding location and hard product, but the service could use some help in some areas, especially at the front desk. However, we still enjoyed the adult pool, the beach, the spacious rooms (with great balconies and a separate shower/toilet area), the breakfast buffet (which is back to most of its former glory), and the St. Regis Bar. We also love the location right across from the Bal Harbour Shops. We did encounter some really stand-out team members: Arnold at the beach, Leo at the pool bar, Anastasia at the St. Regis Bar, Jessica (pool server) and Allison at Atlantikos." "Great. Best St. Regis ever. The top 10% of luxury in the United States. The room was great, the cleaning was extremely good, and even the charging cable was stored with a clip with a logo. you get what you pay for.
The resort is still small overall and the facilities are not abundant. Already good in the United States."

"Our only go-to hotel is The Setai when we visit Miami Beach. Beautiful hotel with the most amazing staff who go beyond their way to take care of all our needs. It’s family friendly for the kids. Wheelchair accessible for my sister. Love the pool, food, drinks, staff and serene ambience! It’s also a fashion show every day and night seeing everyone glammed up! We have stayed at different hotels in Miami Beach over the past 25 years and finally able to stay here for the last couple of years! We’re so happy we found our hotel! ❤️" "everything was perfect during our stay in the Setai me and my 2 sons stayed for 3 weeks for second time. Very warm welcoming from beginning to ends. The room service, housekeeping all exceptional. The customer service especially Miss Sahar was extremely kind and helpful with any request. Thank you to Miss Sahar and everyone. We will back again Mitra, Aria, Ash" "This Hotel offers is magnetic to the people that looks for this desirable trendy and sophisticated ambience. With a wonderful balance of quietness, and romantic atmospheres. I would totally use the word Sexy to describe the overall feeling. You can't miss having a drink at the lobby bar, Dinning by the beach grill or Chilling by the pool."

"Yesterday we went for the first time at Friday's Weekly Wine Educational and Tasting at Boulud Sud, they have these every Friday, it was just amazing ! Thank you Robert Fitzmaurice O’Maoilriain for hosting, you were great, so knowledgeable with a lot of interesting information about the wines, the countries and the grapes, I really enjoyed it. The Tasting is really a great deal, $25 per person (not inclusive of tax and gratuity), includes light pass hors d'oeuvres, we had the below wines : Torres | Albarino Rias Baixas 'Pazo Das Bruxas' Spain Kumeu River | Chardonnay 'Hunting Hill Vineyard' - Auckland, New Zealand Chateau du Moulin-a-Vent | Gamay Cru Moulin-a-Vent - Burgundy, France Val di Suga | Sangiovese Brunello di Montalcino - Tuscany, Italy Domaine de Beaurenard | Grenache Blend Chateauneuf-du-Pape Rouge - Southern Rhone Valley, France I particularly enjoyed the Chardonnay & the Brunello di Montalcino, after the tasting we stayed on as Happy Hour was still on at the bar, Sunday to Friday 5 pm to 8 pm, so more wine and more appetizers (Ham Croquettes, Hummus, Stuffed Dates, Babaganoush, Lamb Meatballs, Falafel, Patata Bravas), what a lovely way to end the week and start the week-end, I really highly recommend this ! We will be back for sure @bouludsud and thank you @robertomaoilriain for hosting For more of my favorite restaurants, places and more, like my Facebook page Naddia’s Favorites or follow me on Instagram @naddias_favorites" "This was a bitter sweet stay at the Boulan South Beach, as some aspects of the hotel were great and some were awful! The hotel was kind enough to upgrade our room to a partial ocean view, however when we arrived up to our room we were surprised to see that the door to the room wasn't locked(closed). We had to manually push/pull the door to close to lock. Once inside we were greeted with a lovely note wishing my husband a happy birthday and a complementary bottle of wine, which was very nice. I place the bottle in the nice wine refrigerator and then proceeded to check out the other amenities, only to discover that the freezer and ice machine weren't working and there was water standing in the ice try. It was 5 pm and we just wanted to shower and change, so we agreed we would notify the front desk on our way out for the evening. However, when we went to used the master bathroom we then noticed the hole in wall of the bathroom sliding door, and the broken shower door(door can't close), and the cracked shower nozzle holder. When we left out for dinner about 7pm I did notify the front desk, and they said they would let maintenance know. When we got back nothing had been done. We the noticed that there was no linen for the sofa bed. We called and called the front desk for 20 min, and finally just went down to the front. Front desk apologized and said she had to step away. She said she would send some one up with them, he would also look at the repairs. As soon as he came in he could see the broken lock on the door and by the time he came up the refrigerator was leaking all over the floor! He put down two towels, and said it was too late and he didn't have the parts, and for us to call down in the morning and they would send someone up from maintenance. The next day they did come fix the lock on the door, however no one ever came to fix the freezer and by the four night the refrigerator was also broken, so all our great leftovers spoiled! The restaurant staff and food was great, and the location was great so that's the only reason I'm giving them two stars. However, for $1556.77 I was not impressed, and I won't be back!" "The room is big and unimaginable! The first two days to upgrade the twin room, room 504, so great! The decoration is light and luxurious, the room is about 150 square meters, the renewal is changed to the room, the big bed room is also very large, about 80 more flat, the free breakfast is comprehensive, only one can choose one, the small quantity is not bad. The hotel beach has to go out for a few minutes, only two chairs and towels, 15 umbrellas per day/day; Miami is too sun-drenched during the day, and there is no way to stay on the beach. I have been renewing my room for a long time, and I am a little dissatisfied from 11:00 to 3:00 pm."

"Stayed for a few days during the week for a relaxing couples vacation. Probably the nicest property and beach I have stayed at. Absolutely beautiful beach. Staff at the beach were kind, professional and attentive- we were consistantly being asked if we needed anything. The service we experienced was 100%. We will definitely be returning. The only thing that I thought was odd was the food selection. For it being Miami, it didn't seem to be anything exciting or different. It was fine, but didn't fit the location or property. I would stay here again, but eat at different locations round Miami. I would also suggest weekday dates; a lot less busy." "Stylish hotel, really nice interior design, nice pool. Got a fantastic upgrade to a suite with several balconies and gorgeous views of the ocean and Miami on our recent stay. The situation in the entrance area has not been optimally planned. The lobby is like a train station concourse, hectic and noisy. The employees at the pool, at the bar and on the beach sometimes forget to do their job out of sheer coolness and/or arrogance. All in all a great hotel though, we'll be back!" "How can I say that I have been traveling to various good hotels in various countries for the first time. W may think too good but a little disappointed after checking in. The location of the hotel is not good. Breakfast is generally good for hotels in the United States. I also made up that the room facilities are really old doors and so on. The parking fee is $ 45 a night. Tipping is expensive, but parking in a good American hotel costs it ..."
