Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Farm and Inn

We enjoyed our entire trip in Costa Rica. This stay was the highlight of our vacation. We did several tours and enjoyed the beautiful weather. While we were on site, we spent most of our time in the restaurant and enjoyed breakfast lunches and dinners there. The food is excellent And I highly recommend Luis as a server he took care of us in every way . Excellent service!

We spent 6 days with our family Thanksgiving week this year. Grand kids are 7,8,10 and 15 and there was something for everyone! It was hard to leave after being pampered by staff wherever we went. Having three different villas gave us privacy and places to gather for games and informal pizza dinner. We had our own table for 9 in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was such a great way to start our day as we prepared for various excursions. From fresh juice and fruit to made to order eggs with traditional Costa Rican side dishes. We slept on very comfortable beds and woke to the sounds of birds while enjoying our French press coffee on our deck. Our little slice of paradise!

Finca Rosa Blanca is a nice get-away for a night or two. Bit of an adventure to get there but fun, just be patient and once you arrive you will be welcomed by the great staff running the inn and restaurant. The service was great as was the food. Definitely worth a visit.

We loved this place. The room was wonderful with gorgeous views (See photos). The staff was super friendly and the breakfast (and especially the coffee) was amazing. We did a coffee plantation tour our first morning their with an amazing guide who was super informative and friendly. In the afternoon, we did a city tour (which included a mask maker) that we absolutely loved. Last, and far from least, the coffee from this small plantation was the absolute BEST that we had in all of Costa Rica (and ever). We would highly recommend this Coffee Farm and Inn.

An epic start to our trip and a brilliant intro to the wilds of Costa Rica. The on-site bird watching tour was a big highlight and the kids even enjoyed thier first coffee cupping! The food, room and chess board kept us all entertained. Mega service to boot!

I had read about Finca Rosa Blanca so requested Trailfinders who organised our itinerary that we stay here for the last 2 nights of our 16 night tour of C.R. for some relaxation and luxury. We were collected at the SANSA terminal at SJO after flying in from Oso Peninsular, after a 30 minute journey arrived at Finca Rosa Blanca. On arrival the receptionist seemed a little overwhelmed as dealing with another guest who had arrived without a booking and then initially couldn't find our booking. However things were sorted after a while and after this everything was perfect. We were taken to the standard room in the main house we had booked called Valle. The main house has a feeling of Gaudi about it with few straight walls and beautiful murals on the walls. We had a huge bathroom with jacuzzi and shower. A sitting area with fridge and tea/coffee making. The bedroom had a large patio style balcony with views over the Central Valley to the mountains in the distance. We ate both breakfasts and dinners in the restaurant. The food was excellent and the wines ( unlike other hotels we stayed at ) reasonably priced. We took the coffee tour to the coffee farm which is part of the Finca. This was very informative and included coffee tasting; we learned so much about the androgenic farming process and the correct to prepare coffee. The grounds of the Finca were beautiful but what topped it off was the amazing swimming pool with views over the gardens and central valley. We were sad to leave for the transfer back to SJO airport for our flight home.

Wow! What a beautiful property! Our room was so pretty. There was a separate room for my kids (bonus!). The decor was absolutely charming. The pool area looked like paradise, but we only stayed one night so didn't have time to swim. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant was excellent. I know some reviewers labeled it over-priced, but I thought it was completely worth it. I'm only sorry we couldn't have stayed longer!

I had a chance to stay at Finca Rosa Blanca recently. This was my second stay there and I love it! The room itself is artistic. I have had the chance to travel around the world and I have never seen a more unique hotel or Inn anywhere else (and I have stayed in some really fine hotels). The service is excellent, and the staff responsive to my needs. I also ate at the restaurant where the ambiance was amazing, and the food was very much 4 star quality.

Great place to stay! Amazing food, not super cheap but reasonably priced, generally mostly locally grown right on the premises! Great coffee. Very charming, comfortable room and fun to walk around and lounge by the pool. Had a great coffee tour as well, learned a ton about coffee. Overall, would definitely stay at again if ever in the San Jose area and looking for a place to truly relax.
