Shuishongshi Shanfang Hotel is a unique hotel with a strong artistic flair. Our room offered stunning mountain views the moment we opened the door, and at night, we could hear the gentle murmur of the stream. The young lady at the front desk who assisted us was incredibly kind and helpful; she planned a perfect hiking route tailored to our fitness level, which really compensated for the hotel not being situated at the very peak. As we set off for our hike, she even thoughtfully provided us with hiking poles. The driver who handled our transfers was also superb, ensuring seamless connections from the hotel to the trailhead. On our second day, when they helped us transport our luggage out of the mountain area, the hotel thoughtfully prepared bottled water and a lovely farewell gift.

Banyan Tree Huangshan was a delightful surprise on our trip. The service staff's attitude truly amazed me. We love traveling and staying in different hotels, so besides the facilities, service is incredibly important to us. We had just come down from Mount Huangshan, and when I booked the room, I didn't realize it was a two-story unit requiring stairs, which was a bit daunting. Thankfully, the hotel staff, especially the shorter lobby manager whose name I unfortunately don't know, patiently showed us other room types (even though the hotel was almost fully booked that day). We finally found a room we loved, and they even offered us an complimentary afternoon tea. All the hotel staff were incredibly dedicated and always ready to help, from Amy, who contacted me, to Jo Yao, the room cleaning attendant, and the golf cart driver. They remembered our room number basically after the second time, which was fantastic! The hotel itself is a scenic spot, especially combined with the nearby Lu Village…simply perfect! I also tried the hotel's spa, which was excellent and helped soothe my post-hike fatigue. I never expected to find such professional service in such a remote mountain village. All in all, definitely a five-star review!

A very distinctive Hui-style hotel, away from the hustle and bustle, very close to Huangshan North Station, no traffic jams. The room is large, the bedding is comfortable, suitable for business vacation and leisure. All three meals can be delivered to the room, the waiters are very patient, although I only ordered a few home-cooked dishes, but the Anhui signature stinky mandarin fish beats the roadside restaurants. Thanks to the housekeeper Ding Yuhong for the warm reception, helping me find and send back the professional trekking poles that were left in the room. Happy Lantern Festival!

Just returned from the Shuiyunjian Xiangfei Valley Hotel and can't wait to share this exceptionally wonderful stay! The hotel boasts a beautiful environment, with rooms nestled amidst rolling green hills and lush forests. The air is filled with the fresh, sweet scent of grass and trees, instantly washing away the hustle and bustle of the city. Our room featured floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony offering panoramic views of the verdant mountains and dense forests—truly ”sleeping amidst the scenery.” The room's interior was designed in a modern Chinese style, with warm and elegant natural wood tones. The facilities were smart and thoughtful, especially the bedding, which was so soft and comfortable that it instantly relieved all fatigue. The hotel service was impeccable. From the front desk to the restaurant, every staff member greeted us with a genuine smile, proactive yet not overly so, making us feel incredibly comfortable. Dinner at the hotel restaurant featured local specialties; the ingredients were fresh and the flavors were delicious, especially the local chicken soup, which was both heartwarming and stomach-warming. This short escape was more than just a stay; it was a deep healing experience for both body and mind. The Shuiyunjian Xiangfei Valley Hotel is definitely worth experiencing.

The living environment was exceptionally good, and all the staff were very enthusiastic. Our butler, a really nice guy, even sent us a travel guide and got us a free, no-reservation pass for Tiandu Peak the next day. They also upgraded us to a room with a view, free of charge! The best part was that I left my spare camera phone at the hotel and only realized it the next day. The hotel and the butler had thoughtfully kept it safe for me. Excellent, excellent! The dinner buffet at Yuping Tower was also delicious with a wide variety of choices. Breakfast was great too. I'll definitely stay here again next time I climb Huangshan.

We took the Yungu Cableway from the back mountain up, then walked to the Paiyun Xing Lv Hotel, which is a new addition to the mountain. Upon checking in, we found our 'triple room' offered great value for money. The room was approximately 23 square meters and featured three 1.2-meter beds, which were very comfortable. Washing machines and dryers are conveniently located on the 4th floor. The restaurant is situated behind the front desk, and breakfast is served downstairs. After checking in, you can add the hotel butler on WeChat. He will inform guests of the next day's sunrise time. Those wishing to catch the sunrise can gather early in the morning as per his instructions to watch it from Danxia Peak. The hotel lobby features a Costa Coffee outlet. Guests can use the coffee vouchers provided in their rooms, which offer a 5 RMB discount per cup – a pretty good deal.

The picture shows the stunning view of Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) from my window. It was breathtakingly beautiful. I was so excited when I opened the window in the morning. At breakfast, a fellow guest at my table, who had just come down from Bright Summit (Guangming Ding), exclaimed that they had witnessed a perfect sunrise today. Coincidentally, we had seen an equally perfect sunset from the very same spot the day before. Pictures three and four are of that sunset. We were quite exhausted after watching the sunset from Bright Summit and walking back. As soon as we entered the hotel, a sense of warmth and brightness enveloped us. Manager Xiao Min softly and gently inquired about our needs. Later in the evening, she even brought us mugwort sachets, which was when I realized there was a foot-soaking tub in the room. A basin of hot water was exactly what we needed to wash away our fatigue. We had a perfect trip to Huangshan, and choosing to stay at Baiyun Hotel was definitely a wise decision.

The Xihai Hotel is located near the Xihai Grand Canyon, about an hour's walk from the Yungu cable car, with not too many steps. We saw many porters along the way, who work incredibly hard, so we understand the slightly higher room rates. The rooms are quite compact; the beds are not much bigger than those in university dorms, everything is miniature-sized 🤣. However, I must praise the excellent service. The staff were warm and attentive, and the front desk even offered comforting ginger tea, which was a thoughtful touch in the sub-zero temperatures. We also received a complimentary souvenir, which we would have happily taken if we weren't already heavily burdened from hiking down the mountain! I particularly enjoyed the 7:30 PM lobby performance; it was creative and considerate, with almost everyone getting a small stool to sit on. The Cloud Foot Massage within the hotel seemed effective, aside from the price! The breakfast buffet offered a good variety, with many items I enjoyed. The black tea and coffee were average; the black tea was milder than the local Qimen black tea from Huangshan but still pleasantly warming.
