We stayed Sun-Mon night in May, lodge was busy as usual but not uncomfortably. We stayed in a 2 queen bed room on the 4th floor, kids are older so it was nice to be away from the lobby. Room was clean and spacious. We had the meal plan, dinner was great, breakfast had CRAZY lines so it was very time consuming to get hot food. Lunch was from inside of the water park, tacos and nachos which were very good. The entire place seemed to be understaffed, service in restaurant was not good for either meal we were there. Water pressure in the room is VERY low, we have experienced this on previous trips as well, if you need pressure to wash your hair do it in the change rooms.

The water park is small, so just one night is enough. It is suitable for families with children rather than adults to enjoy the resort facilities. The rooms are relatively clean but the balconies are dirty. There were discarded cigarette butts. In particular, the bathing suits of the families upstairs drip onto the balcony chairs and the floor downstairs. There is no bottled water in the refrigerator. The friendliness of the staff is average.

The ladies were all superb, great staff especially the front desk. the room was supposed to be a falls view room we were placed on the 6th floor, one floor up from the mezzanine, all we saw was trees. also found 3 spiders in the room I was scared ****less as I do not like the creepie crawlies. Over all a great location for the hotel but my view was **** not what they advertised. The wine tasting packages are all in ”niagra-on-the-lake, wego bus takes almost an hour to get there along with transfers to the orange line. Ladies at the on site restaurant are super helpful and warm. Burning spring passes were included but the spa oasis isn't anything to write home about.

The location is excellent. The main road is right at the door. Restaurant, bakery, ice cream shop, gift box...the room is small and very quiet. The front desk staff is very kind. The hotel provides free parking spaces on the ground and underground. There are no available seats at 8pm. The hotel restaurant requires a reservation!

Everything was excellent. Clean, friendly staff, good food and reasonably priced. Underground parking was a huge plus.

We enjoyed two very pleasant evenings at the Riverbend Inn. Our room ”Sauvignon Blanc” was very spacious, well-appointed, and clean. The two queen beds were comfortable, and we slept well. The bathtub was deep, the water pressure excellent, and the temperature hot, allowing for a veritable soak every night, with clean and fluffy towels a-plenty. We partook of the complimentary wine in the afternoon and coffee and muffins in the morning. We sat in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the vineyard under a blue sky in the morning and used the cement table and benches for a picnic lunch. We walked the waterfront trail to downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake and back, learning later that we could have ridden bicycles available to patrons. As we hadn’t booked the Riverbend Inn restaurant in time, we booked a table at Treadwell Cuisine, where we had a fabulous. We understand that a staff shortage affects the tourist industry. Most of the Riverbend staff members we met were friendly, courteous, and helpful. One took us in a golf cart type conveyance for a tasting at nearby Peller Vineyard, and back to retrieve a key that had slipped out of my pocket there. We chatted with a couple who happily return for their annual stay at the Riverbend Inn. If it weren’t so far from California, we might consider such a tradition.

we had a night stay at the riverbend inn and enjoyed the room we had, deluxe room (210) with a king bed. it was nice to have a door opening onto a juliette balcony over looking the peller estate vineyard and the comfortable king bed. the room is well appointed with lavazza coffee maker and a few bottles of local wine available (extra charge) on a table. the bathroom was large and the toiletries were a nice bonus as well. we had an electric fireplace (not used and couldn't figure how to use it, but i'm sure its in the room booklet)...the restaurant was very good for dinner and enjoyed a course meal (2 or 3 is offered for a set price), again...very good. we also enjoyed an evening having wine on the patio sitting in the adirondack chairs available overlooking pellar estates. one issue that can be focused on is the juliette wood balcony...needs to be cleaned of tree debris and the screws screwed back in...bit uncomfortable when you step on one....other than that?, very nice stay we

Reviews From Real Travelers
This is quite simply a beautiful place to stay. This was our first time here, we've been at many Falls hotels before, and our first in a converted dairy building . Our room was spacious, clean and well designed. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. This is a smaller Inn so not at all like the chains that dot the Falls, much more intimate. Our main floor room had openable windows so plenty of fresh air, a big comfy bed, and great shower. It was very quiet especially considering we were only a few blocks from the 'speedway' and Clifton Hill so were able to leisurely loll about until noon. The croissant plus breakfast was delicious and included in the rate. The Sterling is a block away from the Victoria WEGO stop which is convenient for the car-less. The TV remote took a bit of figuring out even with the detailed guide. Also, the coffee was weak but these are pretty minor in the grand scheme of things. Will definitely be back!

Stayed 3 nights. Location/appearance is a tad ordinary, and there is absolutely no view but property is within easy walking distance of EVERYTHING you’d want to see by the Falls. Our room was lovely. Huge with fireplace, wet bar, steam shower and balcony. I found the bed rock hard but the pillows and linens were comfortable. Bathroom amenities were nice apart from abysmal (seriously!) TP (which was shocking considering this is “spa” hotel). I know this sounds like a petty non issue but I don’t even think it was 1 ply! 😬😂… Steam shower was fabulous! Breakfast tray was a very nice touch. We would definitely come back - with a roll of our own 🧻! Haha!

Going to the water park, the park is not big, but it is suitable for a few years old. The room is general, the surrounding food and shopping is convenient, there is a small Ole.

My family have been regular visitors to the amazing WhiteOaks Resort and Spa now for thd over 10 years, and recently stayed there several times in June, July and for four nights in August 2022. What an amazing hotel. We are always greeted with such kindness and this continued throughout our stay. When I mentioned it was my wife's birthday (or anniversary), Jeremy at the front desk made sure to deliver complimentary glasses of wine and chocolate-covered strawberries to our room. Jeremy as well as Nicole always ensure we get our favourite room overlooking the beautiful garden. Thanks Jeremy for always greeting us with a smile and taking good care of us. And we are always greated so warmly by Michael and the other doormen upon arrival as soon as we pull up to the entrance. Michael is always giving us great suggestions about places to visit and things to do whenever we arrive. The rooms are fantastic. Clean, modern, and have a fantastic view. There's nothing we can complain about this hotel. The services at WhiteOaks are second to none! A wonderful indoor pool, spa, gym, indoor tennis courts, squash, spinning classes, yoga, child minding, etc. All of the facilities were clean and modern. The restaurant located inside the hotel, Play, Liv, were delicious. We always dine here for breakfast lunch and dinner. If you want a great place to stay in Niagara on the lake, consider WhiteOaks. We love it and are repeat customers year after year! It truly is our second home! Anthony

Over all this resort is ok. The staff are all very friendly with great service. spa was nice and service was professional. The Liv Restaurant food was excellent and well prepared. our server was a bit cheeky most of the time two examples of this when ordering he asked if I wanted an appetizer and as I was enjoying the conversation at the table I told the server oh I forgot to look. His comment was “ it’s usually at the beginning of the menu “ in such a way it was very sarcastic. I do have a stone fruit allergy that was told to the server when we ordered. I just told him as long as we just remove all fruit from my food things are fine. When the dessert arrived full of blueberries and strawberries he told me that the kitchen googled it and strawberries are not a stone fruit and told me “ it could be just anxiety” I was definitely put off. I’m a nurse and I know that strawberries have seeds but that is one of my big reaction triggers. ( all parties at the table are health care professionals including a physician btw) The server did replace the item but it was not an ideal situation for me. Rooms were lightly decorated mostly very white but clean. The suite we had was not decorated as advertised on the website I’ll post a picture to compare actually Accommodations versus advertised accommodations. It does say on the website in small print there could be decor differences than advertised. The wine tour offered was lovely our drive was very nice and the concierge Andre was excellent. I probably would not pick this location again as I was there for two nights and I feel this resort was just ok. It’s easy to located very close to the outlet malls.

The location was great as far as being close to the falls & the attractions for kids. There was the most beautiful courtyard/garden right out in front of the hotel that you could enjoy. The elevators have no rhyme or reason. If you’re not wanting to spend an arm & leg on eating out, you can take the wego bus to the local restaurants where they are MUCH more reasonable prices & do not charge a tourist tax fee. We suggest Chuck’s, it was great food & service! If I were to come back, I would stay at the opposite end-closer to the horseshoe falls/table rock area.
- Guest User
Very lovely room view with view of both falls! Very quiet and clean, bed was comfortable as well. Will highly recommend if you’re looking for a hotel from Canada side of the falls as we felt this hotel location was the best one. Also comes with free shuttle bus pass for each hotel customer.
