The hotel's location is fantastic! The rooms are spacious, clean, and stylishly fresh, offering a comfortable and elegant feel without being overly luxurious. It features smart toilets and Dyson hair dryers. The pool is beautiful and not crowded, and the sauna is comfortable, though it's a shame that children under 17 are not allowed in; my 15-year-old was turned away, so they missed out on that experience. I already knew from previous reviews that disposable toothbrushes and razors cost extra, so that didn't affect us. Breakfast was exquisite, delicious, and diverse. One room even came with a complimentary bottle of red wine, which was quite good. The other suite allowed free access to the bar in the evening, offering unlimited cocktails. There's a whole street downstairs with plenty of shops and eateries, including late-night snacks, which was lovely. Check-out was seamless.

Customer services are impeccable. I didn’t get to experience the bars or the restaurants, so not much to tell there. The hotel has great view even if not facing towards the coex mall. Overall the room is comfy. Minus point is that when checking in I had to deposit but after check out after 14 days my refund hasn’t been shown in my statement. I hope the staffs are more aware of the process to be able to assure the clients.

This is an excellent hotel in every sense. It offers fantastic underground connectivity to COEX, and the airport bus stop, with fast direct service to Incheon Airport, is incredibly close. The rooms are spacious and well-designed, and the breakfast selection is extensive. My only minor issue was the breakfast staff clearing plates too quickly. Perhaps the table indicators weren't clear, as my coffee was taken away before I even had a sip, and my friend's cutlery also vanished. There's certainly room for improvement in their service.

Great location, Spacious Room, nice bathroom and comfortable beds. However, got charged for extra money 30000 kwon/hour during check out simply because the checkout time was 11am( which the front desk NEVER noticed us when we checked in).

Staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. My room was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything I needed. Accessibility was excellent, making it easy to move around the city. A lovely bonus was the daily complimentary coffee, tea, and Häagen-Dazs ice cream — such a thoughtful touch that made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seoul. I would definitely stay here again!

The fitness center and pool area exceed expectations—spacious, well-equipped, and beautifully maintained. However, there are a few drawbacks that can impact your experience. Weekend breakfast service is limited to just three fixed time slots (6:30, 8:00, and 9:30 AM). Arriving at 9:00 AM means a 30-minute wait, which feels frustrating compared to hotels that offer rolling buffet times or extra seating. Similarly, the pool requires reservations for certain time windows, and children under 16 aren’t permitted in the locker or changing rooms. This policy makes it awkward for a parent and child—while you can change, your daughter cannot, which seems poorly thought out. Overall, the Sofitel Ambassador offers top-tier accommodations and amenities, but its rigid scheduling and family-unfriendly pool policies detract slightly from an otherwise wonderful hotel.

The hotel's facilities and location were also exceptional. Boasting timeless elegance right in the heart of Myeongdong, it offered ultimate convenience for sightseeing and transportation.

Hotel is very new a with modern decoration and close to the trendy Hyundai Shopping Mall. I especially like the perfumes in the lift lobby. Room is normal and clean. The gym is huge and with very good equipment, almost similar scale versus Conrad hotel next door. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
