We thoroughly enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea in a beautiful setting attended to by the friendly and informative Argyro who could not have done enough for us. Our room was lovely with an amazing view of the city. The time at the pool was fun and the two gentlemen working there (sorry did not get their names to give them a mention) were very welcoming and helpful. Our room service food (again delicious!!) was brought to us by Alex (and again friendly and welcoming) The breakfast the next day was perfect. There is a vast selection of breakfast options and something to suit everyone’s dietary requirements. We were welcomed to the lounge by Kiamha who was super friendly and accommodating. We cannot fault this stay. The staff do an excellent job and make everyone feel at home and we are already planning our next stay there. Bravo, Hilton Glasgow, and please keep up the good work 👍

Very nice hotel, every member of staff that we met were fantastic, so friendly and helpful but I think the hotel is definitely short of staff. The rooms are lovely, spacious, clean and the beds are comfortable. No bath in the bathrooms but the toiletries and towels are beautiful. We had dinner and breakfast here and the food was delicious but the shortage of staff was very apparent. Would still return for another stay

I was supposed to stay for three nights, with 2am check in. First room lights did not work, second room the towels were dirty and bathroom appeared not to have been cleaned. I made the point next morning, and when I got back in the evening there were fresh towels on the unmade bed, but the bathroom/toilet still not cleaned. I checked out next morning and requested a refund for the night I did not stay. This was refused and no explanation why hotel so dirty and no housekeeping. Beyond that breakfast pretty much grease and sugar - no healthy breakfast food. A disaster on every level. Last time in an Accor Group hotel.

Glasgow is an amazing city filled with exemplary sites - Burrell Collection, Kelvingrove Museum, and Tenement House ! Novotel is a good location for a tour group and Zoltan made the stay memorable…polite, very kind, went out of his way to make us comfortable! Truly a worthy, fantastic employee devoted to making the guest welcome. Cheers

We walked up from Queen Street Station in less than 10 minutes and were met by Dave the Concierge who lifted our bag in to reception. Chelsea on reception was very kind with a great upgrade due to status and that set us up for a marvellous return trip to the Kimpton Blythswood. The old Scottish Automobile Club building is lovely and the sunny views out onto the gardens in front were very welcome, though the windows in the Salon could be doing with a wash...... Our room was superb, very clean with shower and tub. And some Tunnocks wafers to go with our cuppa. Nice touch. During the social hour we were served by Dave who brought our wine up to the Salon - the old 80m long drawing room on the 1st floor. I had hoped the Salon Bar would have been opened after our last stay, but staffing seems to be the issue. Breakfast in the morning was very good with attentive and engaging staff. We left as we arrived with Dave opening the door and taking us to street level, with his usual chat and charm. We felt special. Thanks.

The Blythswood Square hotel is a landmark in Glasgow and is deserving of the reputation. It fronts a charming square in a central location. We arrived after a disasterous stay in a hotel in Eriska the say before so their care service was all the sweeter. Our room was spacious, immaculate and comfortable with a bed whose mattress was not a granite slab. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of dishes, and there is a Happy Hour from 5:00-6:00 p.m. with free wine for guests. The staff were knowledgeable and couldn't do enough to help. We would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Glasgow.

Had a quick stay, reached on 26th December 2020, start of Tier 4 Covid lockdown. Check-in was pleasant and the rooms clean and nice. No one to help with luggages but understandable seeing how the hotel is operating with minimal staff. Very helpful with storing our luggages and even accommodated some stuff being left behind whilst we sort out of transportation. Breakfast was nice and quick. Would recommend folks to stay here again.

As soon as the plane arrives, take a taxi. It cost five or six pounds. The room was the best I have stayed in for more than a week. Very clean. The bathroom is actually accompanied by a bath and shampoo! !! Generally British hotels do not bring. . . It's so nice that there is no place to buy toiletry products at night! Like it

Deserves to be a five-star hotel, very comfortable living, large TV and bed, free water provided, large floor-to-ceiling windows, good sound insulation and good sleep quality.

The parking lot is hard to find and requires a parking fee. Everything else is OK. The hotel chain service is normal. It is recommended. There is absolutely no problem if you don't drive. Driving is a bit frustrating.

The hotel environment is very good, the service is warm, the air conditioner does not work well, I changed the room, the location is excellent, it is convenient to go anywhere, I stayed for four nights, Ctrip booked the room in advance, the price is very high
- Guest User
The hotel is situated in the centre of the town which makes you easy to go anywhere. Don’t forget to park your car in their car park which is more cheaper than you put your car in somewhere.

Stayed in a few Hamptons but first visit to this one. Met by two friendly woman at reception, instantly made to feel welcome. Explained everything clearly. Room was lovely and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style, was very busy but still plenty places to sit.

Good for elderly customer. The room design for wheelchair. The car park just across the hotel.

You can walk from Central Station, but it's a little difficult if you have luggage because it's on a hill. It takes 6-7 minutes to get to the bus stop for the airport, so it's safe even early in the morning.
The room was clean, had a bathtub, and was comfortable. The classical and calm atmosphere was also nice.

Overnight stay for concert at armadillo great location for this, free parking was a bonus! Service in bar restaurant was poor but this was down to lack of staff not the staff ability otherwise ok . Was a bit pricey for the room but the hotel was fine had no real issues
- Guest User
Not good at all, I wont stay here again. The food was of poor quality, not hot, slow service, overpriced. Coffee machine not great. THere were not enough sockets in the room (a double double with one socket on the far side of one of the beds). The window could not be opened. THe bathroom floor was not clean to the edges, heated towel rail did not work, extractor fan not working. Insufficient toilet paper supply. Corridor carpets were marked and dirty.
