True 5* experience!! We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this wonderful hotel! It is exceptional well designed - rooms are spacious, furnished in style and equipped with high end devices. The pool and spa area is absolutely stunning. The restaurants provide you all day with delicious food and drinks. The breakfast was outstanding. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful, especially Jude made our stay very special - he welcomed us very kindly and fulfilled all our little wishes during our stay. We cannot recommend this hotel enough. It’s a quiet oasis in beautiful Xiamen.

For the first time in life, A hotel that I would never leave. The waiter who picked me up from the ferry terminal was wearing black Chinese overalls, carrying a white canvas bag, and holding a yellow umbrella... When we arrived at the hotel gate, the girl in white with a big smile came out to greet us... When we entered the lobby, we were immediately served with welcome tea (Picture 1). We opened our towels, wiped our hands, and drank tea while waiting to check in... Brother Huang Umbrella and a manager sent us to the room, and explained the facilities and supporting facilities in detail, and even demonstrated how to secure the room door... Then go to the coffee shop and enjoy the exquisite afternoon tea provided by the hotel. The tables and chairs in the cafe are all medieval, which appeals to my aesthetic taste... What I didn't expect is that the desserts taste better than those in professional shops outside! Also, after learning that we were here for our wedding anniversary, the hotel immediately upgraded our room for free. What a surprise. The hotel is where the famous piano master Yin Chengzong received piano enlightenment from an early age. There are only 13 rooms, and the overall decoration style is retro and high-end. I held my camera and couldn't stop taking pictures... Breakfast was also very good. Every waiter is kind and polite. If you come to Gulangyu Island, I highly recommend staying at Hongtang.

Great hotel and the service is really good from the start. Most of the staff can speak English and they put a lot of effort to ensure that my stay was comfortable so thank you. Breakfast was great the staff were very attentive and the manager greeted all the guest and checked if they had a nice stay. I would of liked to have a welcome drink like a bottle of water just at reception but that’s the only negative.

Super five-star praise. When I came to Gulangyu Island, I wanted to experience a different hotel, so I chose Lin's Mansion. It was perfect! The butler has a pick-up service at the port, otherwise it would be too tiring to drag the luggage. The hotel was renovated from Lin's old house. It is in the style of the Republic of China, low-key and luxurious. The balcony faces the garden, which reminds me of many romantic dramas of the Republic of China. And only hotel guests can enter here. It is relatively quiet and not as noisy as other places in Gulangyu Island. The service is also very good. I felt there were many mosquitoes at night, so the front desk immediately brought toilet water and an electric mosquito swatter. By the way, there is also a free cheongsam photo-taking service here. The cheongsam is a free set. It is very clean and will be sent to dry cleaning after every customer uses it. The style is also beautiful. It's a pity that I only stayed for one day. I will stay here next time I come to Gulangyu Island.

We originally booked a poolside suite in Shuiyuan, but the front desk of Shuiyuan helped us upgrade to a one-bedroom apartment in the SPA villa. The room was large and very comfortable. Xiao Luo and Xiao Deng, the lobby managers of Shuiyuan, were very warm and considerate during our stay and gave us free gifts. I had breakfast for the kids and the hotel hardware and software are very good.

It was a lovely stay as I planned a birthday trip to Xiamen for my wife. The concierge team Yolanda/Jack made our whole experience wonderful and unforgettable - a proper setup of the room/a bunch of beautiful rose/nice cake and everything the hotel did was way beyond my expectation and a truly remarkable birthday to remember. Will recommend it to any friends who are traveling to Xiamen - the hotel is A++

The taste is also very good. Service: Special thanks to Harley and Yvette for their warm service when checking in. The doorman is also very enthusiastic. He will take the initiative to help deliver the luggage to the room. Environment: The environment is very comfortable. Next to the beach and the romantic line of the sea. There are also sunny town food shopping malls nearby. Overall, it is very convenient to eat, drink and play.

Breakfast and afternoon tea were very considerate and very satisfying. The environment is quiet and comfortable. The room is fully equipped and relatively clean and tidy. The service is in place, responsive and responsive. The location is very good, close to Longtou Road and convenient for travel. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Sanqiutian Pier. We booked 2 rooms, and one room had a bit of sewer smell, but fortunately there was a window in the bathroom for ventilation.

The view from the hotel is magnificent, the cleanliness and quality is everything one would expect from the Shangrila, including the restaurants. But what stands out is the quality of the service, kind, efficient, anticipatory of needs without being overbearing. By far one of the best service experiences we have ever had. The indoor pool is for laps more than fun, but the hot tub is nice and the yoga room is great. Outdoor pools are connected to a nearby water park and not actually party of the hotel, fyi.
