This hotel wins many Hilton Hotel awards, and for good reason. The hotel is well managed, it's clean, and it's comfortable. I've stayed at this hotel 100+ nights in the past year and it's never disappointed me. I love the location -- it's on the edge of New Hartford, so it's just blocks from restaurants and shopping. But it's also adjacent to open wooded areas, so you can walk and relax listening to the forest (which I do often). The Hotel has all the normal amenities of a Homewood Suites (kitchen with full size fridge, ceiling fans over the bed, large spaces, etc.), so it's a great hotel for long or short term stays. But it's the staff that separates this hotel all the others in the area. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Talk to Domenica at the front desk and you'll see what I mean.

Need to have better rates during week

Eric Hawk ” general manager” made this trip over the top AMAZING! Between him and Brenda” assistant manager” I truly wanted for nothing! I walked into the door I had a seamless check in with a great feeling of welcome... I refuse to stay anywhere else when I visit family. Eric you made this trip outstanding. Thank you again sir!!

We stayed here while attending our daughter's graduation from nearby Hamilton College. The hotel's COVID-19 safety protocols appear to be solid. Our room was clean and comfy. Mattress was not as firm as we like, but we slept OK. Breakfast was lame: tiny cereal boxes, sausage biscuits, oatmeal packets, individually wrapped muffins, yogurt, coffee, milk. Odd thing is that it appeared some people got a hot breakfast if they arrived earlier than we did. There were small chafing dishes that had held eggs and sausage. Not sure what that was about. Two more odd things: 1. our room was not cleaned the first night, even though I specifically asked about it after lunch, when it seemed the housekeeping staff was gone. Front desk made a note, but no one came to clean. I called again and front desk said I had to request cleaning. OK. I officially, for the second time, request cleaning. 2. front desk has bottled water in a small fridge just out of sight. if you ask for it, they will give you a bottle. if you don't know about it, I guess you have to pay for a bottle from the section where they sell food near the front desk.

We stayed for just one night on our road trip from Michigan to Maine. Family of 4 and our Weimaraner. The two working the desk (man & woman) were so personable and helpful when I was checking us in. I’m late in getting this review in so unfortunately I can’t remember their names, but I just want to say that these two were truly great. Having our pup with us, they were sure to put us on the ground floor and near an outside door. That may not seem like a huge deal, but traveling with a dog, it makes a difference! Our room was clean and spacious, pool area was nice and the family loved the breakfast buffet. We will definitely choose a (Burrstone Inn) Ascend Hotel again.
