I will definitely live here when I go to Chicago. The breakfast is good. Although it was a bit simpler during the epidemic, it is still worth recommending! The parking fee is a bit expensive, and it is recommended that guests who stay in the hotel should park for free

Transferring in Chicago, the shuttle bus stopped early at night because of the epidemic. I had to take a taxi to the hotel. As always, the service quality of the hotel was as good in all aspects, but because of the epidemic, the breakfast was much easier.

The Forester was a beautiful place to stay. The hotel has been recently updated and looks very nice. The rooms worked great for us, we were with 2 other couples and had a couch and chair in the room so we could visit with them in the evening.
I would stay here again if I was in the area.

A 5-minute drive from the airport, the suite is extra large and has a hidden double bed that can be pulled down. That is to say, such a suite can accommodate 4 people. The water in the room is paid for, and the others are very satisfied. Two hypnotic books are quite human. Because there was no other experience in a hurry, breakfast was just like an ordinary American breakfast, and the variety was not so rich. It is enough.

This is our 4th time coming to this hotel. It’s a yearly stay moving our daughter into school. The rooms are nice and it’s close to the airport. This bar has gotten progressively more crowded with each stay, yet there has only ever been one bartender. That guy works like crazy and its not his fault. As a guest, I don’t want to wait 40 minutes for a cocktail, and then we order 2 because it takes him that long to circle back. Marriott can do better. Start by giving that man a raise.

My child's wedding was there. The hotel staff at the event were very helpful and friendly, and we appreciated them. The event itself was lovely and it was set up as we requested. I am giving the ”very good” rating because of that. But, regarding the room we stayed in, we had no hot water in shower for two nights - so we had only cold showers as we dressed for the wedding. Planning was also more difficult than we would have hoped/expected, because the designated caterer for our event (which was a large part of why we had chosen that venue in the first place) changed less than three months before the wedding and we didn't have a menu with pricing until 6 weeks beforehand (the day before invitations had to go out). It isn't clear when the hotel knew about the change, but it never notified us (we learned only when the ”old” caterer told us), and the process led to a lot of last minute stress, and increased costs. Finally, the hotel billed the bride and groom for a room for a night they did not even stay at the hotel; when we questioned that we were told the charges would stand because they hadn't notified the hotel 72 business days in advance (further in advance than the caterer was even set up). In addition, the hotel had agreed to comp us another room but that did not occur because we initially had given the hotel the name of one couple we thought would stay in that comped room - when we learned that couple had not stayed at the hotel overnight, the hotel was unwilling to switch and provide the cost of the comped room to another guest (or even to offset the charges to the bride and groom for the room they did not use, as noted above). We were frustrated by that intransigence.

This was booked on our behalf so we didn't have any expectations beforehand. The staff at reception were great throughout our stay, and were a definite plus point. We only ate one proper meal at the hotel which was a breakfast, which was tasty and served quickly as we were there for a conference and had limited time. The facilities were decent, and the room was spacious, clean and comfy including a good comfortable bed. The marshmallow pillows were far too soft for my taste but that's just me! The downsides were some surly staff in the Benchmark bar, and the major one which was the fire alarm. It went off our second night at midnight, and some of our colleagues heard it loud and clear in their room - we only heard it faintly as it was not sounding in our corridor, only the stairwell! It was a false alarm, although the fire dept. and police did attend! That knocks off a star on its own. Without that, it was a solid 4 star stay - shame...

Front desk service is not very skilled. There is free parking. Convenient shopping nearby. Handicapped rooms are arranged, and the rooms are large. The internal facilities are positioned for mid-range family travel, with refrigerators, microwave ovens, pots and pans readily available. The door gap is large and the sound insulation is poor. Overall, the brand's usual level has been basically maintained.

Breakfast is simple, the hotel car park is very free, there is a small pool and gym. The kitchen is fully equipped, there are 4 pots forgotten to shoot, it is very convenient to buy a la carte. Close to the lake forest school, but the place is more partial, no car is difficult to walk, within five kilometers there are supermarkets, various restaurants, Macy's.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to an event we were attending and the availability of a two queen room with sofa sleeper which is hard to find to accommodate a family of 5. We were grateful to only be spending one night here. When we stepped off the elevator on our floor, we were overwhelmed by the smell of **** and the noise coming from room 315. Groups of people sitting in the hallways outside of their rooms and couples arguing… we weren’t sure what we might encounter but the night ended up being uneventful, thank goodness. While the sheets looked clean and the bedding was comfortable, the room was dirty. Sticky tile floors and a large wet spot on the carpet. Ramen noodles still on a wall??? Tortilla chips on the windowsill. Not even sure how that happens. Better housekeeping is a must for sure! Not enough towels even though our booking was for 5. Breakfast was okay and the staff was friendly. Another positive- it’s right across from the police station so that made us feel like our car might be a little safer in the unsecured lot.

It was okay, but inconsistent. The various people at the front desk seemed to not be knowledgeable about some of the things in the rooms. It seemed like they were a new immigrant family or something - communication was a bit of challenge. Neighborhood wasn't great, but I liked the forest preserve behind the hotel where I could take a walk. I had some trouble figuring out the heating in the room, but we figured that out too. One of the elevators is broken down. This property wasn't as nice as most HIE hotels. The lobby seemed especially chaotic. When I return to the area, I will probably choose a different hotel.

Except for expensive, others are quite good. Breakfast is average, but this Western-style hotel, we are not used to eating is also normal. When I first arrived, I went to the restaurant in the hotel's atrium and ate a lunch. I didn't expect it to be quite pleasant. The price was real, the service attitude was good, and the taste was not bad. The only drawback is that I don't think there are a few chairs in the hotel entrance. It is not convenient to stand at the door when waiting for the car.

We have had some not so good luck lately in hotel stays, so we were pleasantly surprised in how clean and nice this hotel and room were for our trip. We stayed in a premium king room and found it nice to come back from our evening out to snacks and sodas. We weren’t able to take advantage of the breakfast and complimentary drinks at the bar due to our plans, but decided we will definitely choose Embassy Suites again.
