Our stay was just perfect. It is a beautiful Balinese traditional set-up villa, every staff was friendly and so kind and it really touched my heart. It's a bit old property but perfectly maintained, I didn't feel it's old at all and I was rather impressed how well they kept this beautiful villa. You can also notice a great attention to detials, the person (people) came up with this design and architect must be genius! I was worried after seeing the review on bugs, yes there are bugs, but it's perfectly natural cause the villa is in the middle of the nature! That's the charm of this resort. I would be concerned if they use too much chemicals to kill the bugs. I hate bugs but there was nothing harmful - like a roach I always see in HK.. so I was totally ok! There are cute lizards roaming around too, I really loved watching them. I really enjoyed staying in Banyan Tree but most of all it was people who made my stay memorable - everyone smiles and greeted so nicely which really made my trip. They were very attentive and accommodating too. I wish I could go back one day!

As a first time solo traveler, I would say I did not have anything planned the moment I reached the resort. But my goal for this trip was mainly a getaway from everyday city life and it did reach my purpose. There are activities that can be in and around the resort. First time tried kayaking and archery. All the staffs were super friendly. From reception, activities, restaurant staff until check out. I went during an off peak season, so even passing by a staff at the lobby of the Lotus Cafe, I was shocked that I was greeted by the staff with my name.

First time staying at Cassia Bintan and no regrets! Wonderful experience with too notch hospitality from their service crew. Room was nice, comfortable, clean and spacious. Gym and breakfast would be at Angsana resort which is just a 5 minutes walk away. The beach front is easily accessible from Cassia Bintan and the swimming pool is very child friendly too. Definitely will come back again with my family!

Biru is the villa area of Nawan Garden. The environment is very good. The waiter sent us to the door of the room with great enthusiasm. The single bed in the bedroom is a bit small and can only sleep one adult. If there are many people, you can put the two single beds together. The bathroom is a bit simplistic, if you need a comb toothbrush you can call. The overall feeling in Bintan is that people are very good. Even if the communication is not too smooth, they will not bother to explain. My request is to know one or two keywords. The only regret is that I saw a mini zoo in Nawan, I wanted to take the children to the waiter and told me that I was gone.

breakfast was the best thing tbh - please add on breakfast when u book your stay because the restaurants there are really expensive service was okay, but they only provided 2 drinking water per room per day - and it cost about 5 sgd to purchase a 1.5L water activities there are pretty pricey as well, but u can rent volleyball/football for free the beach there is quite stoney, not very advisable to play by the edge of the water because there are a lot of stones which can be quite painful barefooted room was okay, the ac was good, but water shower pressure quite low, but hot water is good go to Calypso Floating Bar for a great sunset view! then have dinner at kelong seafood - paid around $80 sgd for 3 dishes for 2 pax (tax there is 10%+11%)

Went during sch holidays,hotel was clean and new furnishings, we liked the environment which was chill an We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo. My room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and amenities was Secntia brand which was nice. The check-in snd check out process was seamless, service staff was great throughout as they were always greeted us with a smile, very friendly and helpful (shoutout to willy, ilman,tommy, adel & many more). We loved the hotel's pool area, and the breakfast buffet could have more live stations and variety. The location was near Plaza Lagoi & i would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Overall experience was great. However was a little disappointed on the day of check-in, as I’ve specified that I required a connecting room (travelling with young kids + helper). I’ve previously enquired if I should book 1x twin and 1x king or the booking type doesn’t matter as long as I indicated. I was told the latter so I book 2x king instead and indicated my preference of connecting room. Well… i was told connecting room is subjected to availability. What upset me was, I think the hotel doesn’t try to accommodate and pre-arranged. Furthermore I was informed “I booked 2x king instead of 1x Twin and 1x King”. It was a mad logistic headache for me and my family as it’s difficult to settle down with 3 young kids (1 is infant) + helper sleeping arrangement. Hope the management can really consider customer preference and accommodate.

The resort is very interesting with guestrooms within a tipi. The lagoon is lovely and clean. We were impressed with the guest services. From pickup at the ferry terminal to the arrival at the resort to check into our room, to dining to housekeeping to the security guard to the lifeguard at the lagoon, all staff were very friendly n nice. Due to the unpredictable weather, the housekeeping was very attentive to bring in our swim wear from outside into the tipi and closed up the tent. The only negative point was that the check-out time was too early at 11 am. Despite this, overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anmon Resort.

We recently returned from a five-night holiday in Bintan and stayed at your hotel for the last three nights (nights 3, 4, and 5). While we were happy to secure a room for those dates, we encountered two issues during our stay that we feel should be brought to your attention— in the hope that they can be improved for future guests. 1. Room Consistency & Communication Due to high demand, the same room type we booked for nights 3 and 4 was no longer available for night 5. As a result, we had to book a different room type for the final night, all paid in advance. When we checked in, we explained to the front desk staff that we would prefer to stay in the same room for all three nights, and we were willing to pay any price difference if necessary. The staff member said they would check and get back to us—but we never heard anything further. Admittedly, we also forgot to follow up. However, we assumed that no news meant we could remain in the same room. The next day at noon, we received a sudden call requesting us to check out immediately, which completely disrupted our day’s plans and led to a rushed and stressful move. We even left some personal items behind in the process. In the future, we would greatly appreciate clearer follow-up from hotel staff—whether or not a room change is possible, please confirm with guests either way rather than leaving the matter unresolved. 2. Villa Room Maintenance On the last night, we moved to a villa. Unfortunately, during our shower we discovered that the drainage system was severely clogged. Water from the shower area didn’t drain properly, and water even backed up from under the sink and around the toilet. This was not only inconvenient, but honestly quite unpleasant. While your staff did eventually help us resolve the issue, it significantly affected our overall experience and left a negative final impression. We chose your hotel with high expectations and understand that busy periods can lead to service challenges. But with a bit more proactive communication and better room maintenance, we believe the guest experience can be much improved. Thank you for taking the time to read our feedback.

It was a great stay for us. Sea view chalet is nice and comfortable for me and my husband. Unobstructed view for the sea is my favourite. Room service was good and staffs were friendly and always greet us with smiling face. We stayed for 3 nights and we ate our meals at the resort’s restaurants. Breakfast was included in our booking and food served at the breakfast was good but nothing special to mention. We had our lunch and dinner at the Spice and the Kelong seafood restaurant. I will say the food varieties is limited and pricey. I will say it is more expensive than Singapore (one of the most expensive city in asia). For two person we spent about 70$-170$ per meal… appitizer, one main dish and one cheapest drink. When we had seafood dish, it cost more, of course, about $170. Overalls, it was a good experience. Nice stay except the pricey food. Taste of the food are just fine. We stayed 3 nights, so it made us more difficult to choose what to eat when you have not much to choose and it is not exciting and you are at the resort… so you can’t go out and buy more affordable food outside. If the resort can have more Chinese cuisine will be good. So, if you are staying for relaxation then it is good. If you are foodie,,, this place is not for you.

Everything was great but please learn to delivery ”no” message to your customer instead of stalling tactic. We requested for early checkin as the ferry disembarked at close to 12pm. The concierge told us it was subjected to availability. They will try to clean up room quickly. We waited close to 3hrs, 15mins before official check in time to get the room. But we noticed neighboring units were empty.. and due to low occupancy, the breakfast was ala-carte instead of buffet.

Great villa!! I’ve got the deluxe one for 2 pax, and it’s HUUUUUGE! Loved the service too. Tbh I texted them the night before about transport from the ferry the replied me in no more than 10 mins. The best part was I didn’t realise that Indo time is 1 hour behind sg, it rly only hit me when we reached bintan and my iphone time changed LOL. BUT — after communicating with them while aligning the ferry, the pick up was already there by the time we were done picking up our luggage! Looooooved the service, we genuinely stayed in the villa most of the time. And not sure why people are complaining about the food — I found it pretty good.

Thank you Doulos Phos Hotel, for the unforgettable experience! My friends and I truly enjoyed our stay on your ship. From the moment we arrived, we felt a warm welcome. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was abundant with food that reminded us of home in the Philippines, something we’ve really missed. The receptionists were very hospitable and guided us well on what to do during our stay. The pool was unique and aesthetic, and what amazed us most was the ship’s rich history, especially how it has touched many lives through charity. A special thanks also to the captain who gave us a tour of the ship (I even wondered if he’s a real captain!) On our last day, despite the bad weather, and although our check-out was scheduled for 12:00 PM, our ferry departure was not until 6:45 PM. The reception staff graciously allowed us to remain in our room until 5:00 PM. This thoughtful gesture meant a great deal to us and made us feel valued and cared for. Overall, our experience exceeded expectations. We are grateful to all the staff of Doulos Phos Hotel for their kindness and professionalism. We stayed with our family at the Kawaland glamping resort for 3D,2N. We had a very nice experience. The staff were sincere, hard working, friendly and courteous with all our needs. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and explained to us about the Indonesian cuisine. All the food that we tried at the restaurant was good! The glamping rooms were comfortable with spacious bedroom and bathrooms. The beach was only a walking distance from the resort & it was clean and beautiful. They also had swimming pools. We also had a good experience using the BBQ pit with the help of staff. We were also able to try the movie night with the projector at the beach bar. One area that could be improved is: During warm weather, the roof panels and the room interior gets quite hot. The AC alone was not sufficient. So it may need some other solution as well to keep the room comfortable. Otherwise, we had a chill, happy vacation at the resort! Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

We have found this beautiful place on our 2 days dad/son bicycle tour through Western Bintan. We loved the ample, farm type camp that is in between the hills and savannahs with the reddish coloured earth and evergreen palm trees of Bintan. The reception area is already oozing openness and friendliness, and you check in a very pleasant and welcoming world. The owner has established this is as a sustainable youth training and learning center, at the same time offering splendid and well-integrated guest activities for families, kids, and groups. We stayed in one of the clamping houses adjacent to one of the small and relaxing lakes, and my 5y son loved every inch of it. The A/C motor works in the background, the bathroom is bigger than in any of the Lagoi resorts we have been so far. The food is very deliciously mildly spicy, the coffee machine is Italian, the breakfast offers a choice of two menues which makes it easy not to choose wrong. The best part is the always friendly and supporting staff. Yanu was very supportive when engineering a kite and helped us making it fly (even outside his shift). The creative center is definitely worth a visit. As natural bicyclists, we loved the empty and small paved roads around the Camp, so we even had a wonderful time biking down to the Blue Lagoon (1hour). From the Ferry Station TM it is a 2h bicycle trip with a few stops in the road (try to avoid the heat). The Bintan Ferry takes bikes for transport, so do 6-seater cabbies in Singapore. I can strongly recommend this place for any escape plans from the big city and for all nature fans.

I was here for a ride in Bintan and we chose D’Prima for its location is so so near to the BBT Ferry terminal. Room is clean and cosy. Excellent location away from the usual water parks and tourists. The resort is only an hr from the ferry terminal, for an additional fee, they can arrange pickup/drop off. The room is way better than the photos advertised. Every amenity you can think of is available including insect repellent cream. This is the place to stay if you want to be close to nature. There are a few species of kingfishers, sandpipers and swifts, raptors, etc just to name a few. The main highlight of this place is when the tide is low, you can walk out and go fish hunting, spot different species of crabs, and mudskippers, etc. Since it is a mangrove beach, inevitably there are sandflies so it's important to cover up when heading to the beach. The staff are friendly and food is amazing. I will be back again hopefully in the near future.

This star hotel is very new, the food in the restaurant is delicious and cheap, and the boss is very warm and welcoming! Close to the beach, you can go to the beach to catch the sea, and the coconut trees are very beautiful. There are umbrellas at the door of the room and ice-cold drinks in the small refrigerator. It's a great experience.

breakfast was the best thing tbh - please add on breakfast when u book your stay because the restaurants there are really expensive service was okay, but they only provided 2 drinking water per room per day - and it cost about 5 sgd to purchase a 1.5L water activities there are pretty pricey as well, but u can rent volleyball/football for free the beach there is quite stoney, not very advisable to play by the edge of the water because there are a lot of stones which can be quite painful barefooted room was okay, the ac was good, but water shower pressure quite low, but hot water is good go to Calypso Floating Bar for a great sunset view! then have dinner at kelong seafood - paid around $80 sgd for 3 dishes for 2 pax (tax there is 10%+11%)

As a first time solo traveler, I would say I did not have anything planned the moment I reached the resort. But my goal for this trip was mainly a getaway from everyday city life and it did reach my purpose. There are activities that can be in and around the resort. First time tried kayaking and archery. All the staffs were super friendly. From reception, activities, restaurant staff until check out. I went during an off peak season, so even passing by a staff at the lobby of the Lotus Cafe, I was shocked that I was greeted by the staff with my name.

Families first time to this place very nice to relax. So thankful who fetch us Tedi (martedi) very kind , good service and pleasant. To manger Hardi first assist us very clear to explain so helpful, kind, good service and friendly. Nur who smiling face. Good ambience and relaxing. Breakfast good complete. My kids love it especially egg prata but our last day prata over cook,(sad),cannot service . The best snorkelling we recommend this water sport. Everything perfect except to shower so little water come out and cannot control heat . Cleaning of room Okay everyday cleaning but never wash the cups. And never give shower gel and shampoo. Overall relax and wonderful experience. We will come back here hope got changed for shower.

The hotel environment is very good, the facilities are complete, you can see the sea by opening the window. The young lady who speaks Chinese at the front desk is very acclaimed, responsive, courteous service, and help us to help us return the tickets in advance. The dive is very fun, the people are less quiet, the food stalls next door to the hotel are very cheap, and it is highly recommended to live here!

The towels and bed sheets are not very clean, the quality of the toiletries is very poor, the shampoo and body wash have a strange smell, and they disappear after a few presses, and the toothpaste is also poor, so I don't dare to use it. In short, the low price is justified. I changed to a hotel near the airport mainly to catch a flight. The appearance and environment look good, but the room quality is not as good as that of Hanting. If you have requirements for hygiene, it is recommended not to consider it.

Our stay was just perfect. It is a beautiful Balinese traditional set-up villa, every staff was friendly and so kind and it really touched my heart. It's a bit old property but perfectly maintained, I didn't feel it's old at all and I was rather impressed how well they kept this beautiful villa. You can also notice a great attention to detials, the person (people) came up with this design and architect must be genius! I was worried after seeing the review on bugs, yes there are bugs, but it's perfectly natural cause the villa is in the middle of the nature! That's the charm of this resort. I would be concerned if they use too much chemicals to kill the bugs. I hate bugs but there was nothing harmful - like a roach I always see in HK.. so I was totally ok! There are cute lizards roaming around too, I really loved watching them. I really enjoyed staying in Banyan Tree but most of all it was people who made my stay memorable - everyone smiles and greeted so nicely which really made my trip. They were very attentive and accommodating too. I wish I could go back one day!

Arranged for ferry terminal pick up and drop off and the drivers are both courteous and accommodating (though more than twice the price compared to transpo by grab). First room, the aircon not working,i called more than 2-3times to check but nobody come, i even got massage room service for 2hours still nobody come..imagine how hot it is in the room.. after few more hours the maintenance came and say that the aircon got problem just then they decided to transfer me to the other room at the opposite wing. Got plans to celebrate my birthday on that day but just preferred to stay at the room and ordered dinner. The food are ok. The condiments in the room looks messy and the door hinges are broken. Most of the staff i encounter can’t communicate much in english so needs to improve on that part. The overnight stay was not that great but just ok.

If you are not fussy about a ”right slap in the city” hotel, then this is a perfect hotel for you and your family! The hotel is within walking distance to Melayu Square, Tugu Pencil, Gong-gong building, Jalan Hang Tuah, the newly built coastal bridge, and the main ferry port. The neighborhood is also very friendly and littered with many little local eateries and grocery shops that are not expensive! Even if you want a very good Chinese seafood restaurant, Sei Enam is only a stone throw away! The hotel rooms are very basic and simple and the hotel is not equipped with a elevator, so if you are staying on the 4th floor, you'll have to walk up! Inside the rooms are simple appliances like TV, cable, telephone, drinking cups, bottled water, slippers, cupboards, drawers, hot and cold water showers, toothbrush with toothpaste, shampoo, small bar soaps, aircon, firm pillows, and even a nice bolster for you to hug to sleep! There are unfortunately no water billers nor coffee and tea condiments in the room. Hot and cold drinking water are on level 1 dinning area. The hotel package that I took came with a simple breakfast. The dishes are local and spicy and they are often sprinkled with peanuts. Breakfast come in wrapped up (takeaway) packages with all the pratas sauces, and/or rice in paper and plastic wrappings. Cutleries and plates are available for use. Free flow of coffee and tea with sugar (no milk nor creamer). For the price of about S$26/day, I thought that it was such a wonderful stay in this hotel! Even though it is without much amenities (because I'd rather go take my walks around town and go get a boat ride), I highly recommend this 2 star hotel for a simple and affordable stay in Tanjung Pinang!
