First of all, very clean! We loved our stay at this hotel. It is a very well-serviced hotel with nice and trained staff. The room was very comfortable, and the access to the club was so super convenient. The view of the city is just stunning. Will definitely stay here again when I come to Vancouver again. Thank you for this unforgettable experience!

Stayed at this hotel to be close to a wedding that we were attending at UBC. Perfect location with great restaurants around. Although close to the hospital, we did not hear any noises overnight. The free breakfast buffet that came with our stay was also a great bonus ! This is my second holiday inn vancouver centre stay after my first stay in 2018 for a business trip, and I overall really enjoy the hotel!

Great hotel. We were upgraded to a suite without asking! Everyone was very helpful, and breakfast! Great location. They arranged a taxi for us to go to BC FERRY. Told us approximately how long it would take. Even told us a few restaurants we were interested in. We would stay there again.

The Hyatt was amazing with great service from the moment we walked in the door. We were able to leave our luggage while we waited for our room so we could explore the city. They were wonderful and cleaning our dirty towels and changing beds each day, the outdoor pool and hot tub were a welcome site after long days of walking. The only downside was the lack of restaurant access. 1 restaurant is barely open and the other is so high priced and doesn't deliver to your room. Thankfully Skip the Dishes was an option. Starbucks right in the lobby, can't go wrong with that!!

Paradox Hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed at in a long time. We typically stay at Four Seasons, Fairmont’s, and other hotels similar to these types of hotels. Paradox had first class service starting at the valet (Marty), along with all individuals at the front counter. To top off our stay, we had Andrew from concierges that took great care of us, as he went above and beyond for my wife’s 40th birthday celebration. -I will be writing a person letter to Andrew, for all the amazing things he did to make our stay so memorable. It’s hard to put into words the results of our trip, as all of it was amazing, from the lounge (Megan/Morgan/Vanessa were all fantastic and were extremely friendly. To the Mansion nightclub, where everyone was fantastic and provided amazing service, as we decided to get table service for the birthday celebration. If anyone is contemplating staying at the Paradox, do not think twice about booking, you will not regret it. Also, amazing walking distance to so many amazing shops and restaurants. All-in-all, we will be back to see all the amazing people we met and we look forward to our next trip to the Paradox Hotel.

Great location! The room was basic but very comfortable. It was clean and complete with the basic in room amenities. I would say the price is on the high side, but at that point you are paying for the location. Front desk staff were great and extremely helpful. There is a whitespot restaurant attached to the building which was great, very clean and friendly staff. I would book this hotel again on my next Vancouver visit. It would be great if they could reduce the nightly rate slightly.

Good! In the city center, it is very convenient to go anywhere, the living is very comfortable, the front desk is very warm, go early, help us save the luggage, and take out the map, tell us where to go. well! I just don’t know if it’s because Ctrip’s house price is cheaper than other houses, and the room is facing the ice machine. It’s a bit noisy!

The location is great, located right next to Stanley Park! I paid an additional amount and upgraded to harbor view. If the weather is nice, be sure to choose a room with a view! It’s worth the extra money! The default is wall view. But is it because I expected too much from the service? I requested a repayment from the restaurant due to the use of a coupon. He said he couldn't do it because the bill had already been closed and that it was the manager's decision. In this regard, guidance was very insufficient. Other than that, I am satisfied!

We really enjoyed our stay there and to our surprise, got a wonderful service on all fronts : right from delivery of our suitcases to the room, water bottles and almost everything. The rooms are spacious. The staff is courteous and tries its level best. It will be really good if the security deposit policy is improvised and staff properly trained on that. For every extension in the stay, the security deposit is charged afresh and it takes around 15-20 days to get the refund. For my stay ending 17Th July 2022, I am not sure whether I have received the refund. Would like the management to restructure the security deposit policy to a more customer friendly and transparent one. Similarly, the loyality rewards system needs improvement. Despite repeatedly telling the team, I could not get the reward points for my stay.

The location is excellent and the room was spacious and cozy. It had a nice lake view. The included in-room breakfast had a variety of tasty options. The Lobby floor restaurant ‘Honey Salt’ had high quality food at reasonable prices. We enjoyed dining there. Overall, this was a great hotel. The staff went above and beyond to assist us. We decided to go to Vancouver for Christmas and new year 2023 with my family. the snow had made it extremely difficult to get to Vancouver from Atlanta Ga and to connect in Toronto. WestJet lost my wife's ticket and even though she held the ticket to the plane, they would not let her in. so we got separated. my wife found only one ticket the next day so she insisted that I go so we can be actually together on Christmas. I took all the luggage and my passport and headed on to Vancouver. after 9 hours, including a 3-hour delay on the runway, I arrived at the hotel at 3 am. I can't tell you how miserable I felt.  I was sleep deprived, hungry, and emotional as I did not have my family on Christmas Eve and ETC. Nonetheless, I was happy to arrive at the hotel, so I can take a shower and order some food. I went to check in and showed my passport and it was all good until James asked for my credit card. I took my phone out to tap for accidentals since all my cards are on my apple pay. He said I have to have the actual card if I want to sleep there tonight. I told him we have fully paid through Expedia for 9 nights and my wife has the physical cards, but she'll be here in the morning. James said it was hotel policy and I can't even be on the property anymore. i asked to speak to the manager and he yelled at me ”I am the manager”. all of a sudden two security guys show up and I was speechless. these guys did not say a word. although I felt like they felt sorry for me.  I could not believe how we got escalated this far. So after 10 minutes of trying to reason with James, he agreed to let me sleep on a two-person couch in the basement lobby. they had good couches in the main lobby. but he said I have to be under his supervision. at 6 am he woke me up and I have to get up as guests were arriving. I told him I was one of his guests and he said we'll see. The next day, the day manager said hello and heard what happened. That was literally it. they all moved on. So to be clear, we had paid in full to a Forbes 5-star hotel, and this hotel treated us like nobodies because i did not carry a physical card at the time. I understand you have policies, but whatever happened to customer service? How much damage can I do? you cant have a 25-year-old guy in a black suit run your customer service department who lacks simple principles of customer service and understands the grey in black and white policies.  Honestly, this probably falls back on corporate's lack of training and lack of recruitment of top talent. I really hope that the brand manager reads this review and does something about it.

The hotel and its rooms are very clean, furniture is modern and aesthetically pleasing. Although the location is in downtown and tourists only need to walk 1-2 blocks to reach the major shopping district, its surroundings are nightclubs/bars and can be a little be sketchy at night or in the early morning. The hotel is located in the old city center, relatively old, and there are many homeless people nearby at night. The hotel room is relatively large, it is a small suite. I stayed here for two nights recently for my trip to Vancouver. This was a last-minute booking and my first time here. I chose this hotel over the other I had previously stayed in just for the location. The location is a roughly 5-10min walk to Granville street Skytrain. The location also offers a lot of restaurants nearby and 7-11 and McDonald's which are 24hr if you are hungry in the middle of the night. When I arrived it was just at 11 am and they had my room ready and let me check in early which was nice. The room itself was really small but okay just for one person. The only things I didn't like were the pillows heart my neck being so big and the small shower with a rain head, very inconvenient when you don't want to get your hair wet.....right ladies!!! For sleep quality it was okay, my room faced the Staples right on Seymour it was quite a noisy street to be on so just beware. To note I had only booked for the night but ended up having to stay another the hotel offered me a better rate than what I had originally booked on Expedia for roughly $10 or something less and then also offered me a late check-out.

The hotel service is very good! We chose to stay in the hotel because the local temperature was too high, so the whole city was full on that day, and they lacked staff, which delayed the check-in time for a while. But the front desk was also very sincere and helped me upgrade my room for free, and also provided free parking (all hotels in downtown Vancouver pay a high price for parking). When I checked out the next day, because the temperature had not yet dropped, I also helped me to delay the check-out time to 2 o'clock. The rooms are also neat and clean, and the air conditioning is also very cool. Overall very satisfied!

This time at Ctrip.com, this hotel first encountered the problem of Ctrip's promotion of Chinese services and found that there was no Chinese service at all. After communicating with Ctrip, it helped to provide a temporary solution. I did not expect that there was another unpleasant episode during the check-out at the hotel. After the check-in, the front desk did not take the initiative to give me an accommodation bill. To be honest, I did n’t remember to ask, or another guest found that his bill was wrong. It was there that I remembered that I should also take a look at my bill. As a result, there was an error in printing, and I charged 44.47 more for parking. I felt wrong even though my English was not good. They immediately took back the bill and tore it off. They recalculated and printed it out, and then came back. They only returned me 35 yuan and asked why it was not returned in full. Then the front desk tore the bill back again. Then recalculate and print it out correctly. I was very unhappy with their inattentive service. The end result was that they wrote this small note to me, and apologized and explained it. To be honest, I apologize for their apology. I really regret it. I booked this hotel on Ctrip. Ctrip introduced that there is Chinese service. In fact, they did not provide any Chinese service at all. The latter mistake led me to this so-called five-star Wedgewood leisure hotel with ancient European tradition Wedgewood Hotel feels very bad, this is the only regret in my Canadian trip [naughty]

This hotel could be so much better, especially for the price. On the positive side, the staff, including the concierge, Lisa, and the whole crew on the G floor are outstanding - the most friendly and helpful people. My suite was comfortable and quiet. The king size bed was firm. The air conditioner works well. The bathroom is big. The hotel location is good, near museums and Yaletown, with restaurants and boutiques nearby. The gym and the pool area are also good and, not many hotels in the city have an outdoor pool. The negatives are the extreme neglect regarding renovation and cleaning. For example, with COVID still an issue, after I checked in and stayed the first night in the hotel, I found an empty bottle of water behind the sofa and an used and dirty shirt near the bed. I did not noticed it immediately, because I arrived at 2 am and went straight to bed. To get my room cleaned daily was an ordeal. The hotel apologizes for being understaffed, but the prices were high, around CAD $5.500 for a week’s stay. If you cannot deliver the service, you should not be charging for it, The carpets and the curtains look old, dirty and shabby in the room and common areas. But by far the worse things about the Hilton Vancouver are the elevators. It is not unusual to wait 15 minutes, I am not exaggerating, to go from your floor to the lobby. I understand there is a shortage of workers in Vancouver, but some of the disappointing features of the Hilton could, in my opinion, be addressed by management that cares and is committed to providing guests with what they deserve based on their rates.

The restaurant is quite good, there are many people, just by the sea. The holiday is good. There is no supermarket around the hotel, and it is not convenient to add things. The surrounding restaurants are suitable for dinner, no breakfast and light meals. There is no toothpaste to buy by yourself. Slippers and bathrobes are available on request. This hotel is SUPERB in every way. Their location is within walking distance to one of the train stops (we didn't use, but its 5 minutes away), a short 10 minute walk to the cruise terminals/seawall. We stayed 2 days prior to an Alaskan cruise and everything was amazing. The level of service was genuine and fantastic. So often these days you can feel like someone is ”going through the motions”. That is not at all the case here. The front desk greeted us warmly upon our arrival, and was so personable. The hotel is beautiful! A historical building restored beautifully both inside and out. The lobby area is amazing with dark beautiful woods. We were upgraded from a standard room to one of the largest standard rooms, overlooking the museum directly across the street. Upgrades are amazing, but just know they aren't always possible! Food - We at breakfast both mornings in the lobby lounge. Which saying sounds odd... but it is such a cozy spot. Food and service, again were fantastic. Room Service was also delicious! Concierge was so genuinely interested in ensuring we enjoyed out time in Vancouver! I look forward to a return trip where we will likely include some time back at the Hotel Georgia and some time in Whistler as well. We stayed here pre-cruise in May of 2019, this time was post-cruise. Very quick walk from Canada Place. Easy walk to Gastown (restaurants and bars). Vancouver is a big city so it's not the cleanest, and has it's share of homeless and crazies, but that was all a few blocks to the east towards Gastown; the area around the Auberge and Canada Place is very nice, and it's an easy walk along the seawall (past coffee shops and restaurants) to Stanley Park (we walked to the Aquarium, about 1.8 miles or 3km depending on your units). Close to the metro to the airport, which we used last time but this time we left too early and had to cab to the airport (around $35 Canadian). The hotel is a combination (hotel, residence, club) and the rooms are modern with all the trimmings (coffeepot, fridge, cable, stylish bathroom with boutique soaps/shampoos). Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Much nicer to stay close to the cruise terminal instead of out near the airport.

After going through this showroom, walk a few more minutes and get to the beach. This is the water bus, and you can get more than four Canadian dollars to Granville Island. I wanted to sit in the lobby and rest for a while after I sent my luggage. I didn’t expect the hotel to check in for us after explaining why the train arrived early. For the rest of us who got off the train overnight, how much we need to wash! The hotel is within a 10-minute walk from Chinatown Gastown. It is also through the main road to Stanley Park, but the hotel is a bit tiring to walk. It is very convenient to take a taxi. The fare to Vancouver Airport is 30.85. I gave the driver 35 yuan, the hotel There is a little need for improvement. We stayed for two nights in the hotel without any signs of distraction. We tipped them and let them in. The first day we finished drinking free coffee and tea the next day I didn’t cut it for us. I’ll go to Vancouver in the future and I’ll stay there. The transportation is convenient but it’s relatively old. The towels for me are Perkin

We stayed for 3 nights on our last leg of our Canada trip. Me and my partner and 21 year old son. The hotel was busy as it fell on Canada day weekend. We were on the 9th floor and the view was of building works opposite but it was quiet. We added an extra night and reception were very accommodating and even arriving early they allowed us to check in and dump our bags in the room. The pool is small but nice. We had it to ourselves. Shame no hot tub though that would of been a nice addition. Hotel is very close to the sky train to get to the airport and saved us getting taxis as it was very easy journey. Nice location on Howe street for the port and shopping. I would go again
