Wanaka Resorts

The town center of Wanaka is right next door, with shops and restaurants all within a 5-minute walk. The location is very convenient. The lake is also within a 10-minute walk. The room is well-equipped, with stove and tableware provided. You can easily buy groceries at New World and cook them yourself. The only downside is the bathroom exhaust fan, which is a bit noisy, but it can be turned off. It's quite quiet around at night.

We had an excellent stay. The room and whole property are immaculate. Extremely clean and comfortable bed. Kitchen with dishwasher and mini fridge was great to have. Very welcoming and warm service. Location is a bit of a drive from the lake but there is plenty of parking around the busy area so it was easy.

Reached the motel in light snow, warmly welcomed by the staff who quickly recommended few places for us to visit during our short trip to Wanaka. The room is very clean and warm. Spacious bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed the Netflix in our room at night when it was too cold to explore the town. Location of the motel is close to town (driving to the town would be more convenient as the area is a bit hilly).

Staying at the highly recommended Edgewater, we were assigned room 705. It felt like the less desirable 'Suiyu Court' compared to the 101 and 105 rooms often featured online. It was quite out of the way, and the lawn outside was full of goose droppings and ducks. At night, various insects paid a visit. The shampoo water was scalding hot, burning my scalp, and then there was no hot water left for showering. This was the most expensive hotel on our trip, but at over 2000 per night, the value for money wasn't great. There's no need to rush to this hotel just for the view; any spot in Wanaka offers similar lake views.

The location is really convenient, the staff is very friendly, and they can help you organize a map of free parking locations. Unfortunately, the kitchen is located in the basement, which is a bit inconvenient. Occasionally there are strange noises in the middle of the night, but you can't change rooms. 🥲🥲🥲

Facilities: The kitchen tools are complete, and there is a hot pot barbecue two-in-one pot. Eat hot pot one day and eat barbecue one day, which is beautiful. Hygiene: Not bad, clean and comfortable. Service: The uncle who checked in was very good, probably took a road. Environment: Lake Wanaka is in front of the hotel. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the commercial street. It is all eaten. It is also close to the local supermarket NEW WORLD. It takes about 25 minutes to walk along the lake to the lonely tree.

The location was very convenient and easy to get around. The view of the lake from the common area is absolutely stunning! Can park on the other side of the road for free which is quite easy.

I've booked so many hotels on my trip that I can't quite remember the specific details of this one. However, the cleanliness and environment were impeccable, and parking was free.

Parking space is very limited, stop opposite the hotel roadside, need to walk a long way, the bathroom in the room is hot when cold, the restaurant is not much dining, it is good to sit outdoor dining, thank you for being arranged to stay in the lower bunk, because it is very late to stay, overall it is OK

We enjoyed our night's stay. It was the best price we could find in Wanaka for a single nights stay anywhere in the town. The room was clean and tidy and comfortable. The shared facilities were good. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location is superb; within walking distance to the heart of town. We recommend the park.
