There were many restaurants in the area offering a variety of food choices. The staff was very accommodating and took care of our every need. I definitely would stay here again when I am in the area. There is a steak house downstairs that tastes good. There is nothing else to eat nearby, and there are many choices if you drive out for ten minutes. By the way, there are no slippers in this hotel, please bring your own if you need them.

This stay was not what I would call good... It was in fact a poor experience. By this I mean. I arrived at 3.50pm to get checked into a room that I was informed would be ready for check in at 3pm... The room was not ready, and i was told they would try to have it ready in 20-25 mins. I explained that that was not acceptable. I was told I could wait in the lobby area...I again explained that that was not acceptable. Another employee jumped in to say, I could sit in the lobby. Now I am irritated. I explained in more detail that I could not very well change in the lobby, being that I had to change and get to a wedding in Yonkers for 5.30...He then started to challenge me. Started telling me how he didn't like the tone of my voice. I then dismissed him and suggested he move away and let me deal with the situation with the desk clerk...who by the way was VERY, VERY, helpful, and whom I had no issues with, because she was doing everything she could to accommodate. The real problem was with the cleaning crew and their supervisor , who kept telling her the wrong things. I even offered for them to allow me to change, and then they could have the room to complete getting it ready. They told her to tell me that it wasn't protocol for me to do that. To which I responded that it wasn't protocol to not have the room ready. At this time the desk associate, Aaliyah, who as I said was very helpful, and who I had NO ISSUES with, and she knew that, suggested that I would be reimbursed 50% for all the stress that I encountered, and gave me the room key to allow me and my wife to change and be on our way. This is where I say common sense made more sense than ”protocol”. So my review will be....Great job handling a difficult situation by the desk associate, Aaliyah... Poor job by the room ready crew. And a terrible job by the associate who decided to challenge me in what was a difficult situation, instead of finding a way to help. 5 STARS for Aaliyah 1 STAR for Cleaning Crew (-0) for associate.

I appreciated the kind reception staff upon check-in. However, our overall experience was disappointing. We had originally booked a double room suitable for a family of four. At check-in, we were unexpectedly informed that due to a system error, a double bed was no longer available, and we were instead provided with an extra bed. Unfortunately, the extra bed was uncomfortable, and the blanket was too thin, leaving us cold throughout the night. If we had traveled with two children instead of one, this arrangement would have been unacceptable. Despite this inconvenience, no compensation or discount was offered. Even more confusing was that a quick search on Trip.com still showed that the hotel offered double beds, making us question the validity of the excuse we were given. Additionally, the in-room heater did not function properly—the temperature would not rise no matter how high we set it. We reported this to the concierge, but no staff ever came, even after midnight. As a result, we spent a very cold night. There were also no slippers provided in the room. We had hoped this would be a memorable trip for good reasons, but unfortunately, the lack of proper room management and follow-up service left us very disappointed. I hope the hotel management takes immediate steps to improve their operations.

House located close to a train station.The entire Studio apartment is located on the FIRST floor of a multifamily building with a separate entrance. There may be occasional noise from upstairs neighbors, such as footsteps. I live in a neighboring house and I try to meet and greet all guests. The apartment offers privacy if you prefer but I can also suggest things to do and provide directions to nearby attractions and landmarks as needed.Within walking distance to local cafes and restaurants. Its location is in a village of Croton on Hudson, 45 min from NYC, along the Hudson River. There are sidewalks on the main streets of the village, so there is no need to get into the car if you wish to enjoy a cup of coffee or an ice-cream cone. The closest car rental is just 16 min away by foot if you desire to explore nearby river towns or farms. House is in close proximity to many local restaurants, a supermarket, nature trails and historical sites which makes it an ideal place for a weekend getaway, holidays celebration or business travel. There is abundant information about ticks and tick bites on internet, it is worthwhile to be informed.Streets in the village are illuminated but driveways tend to be a bit darker. It is noticeably darker at night on the street, compared to a large city like New York, but as an added bonus, you could see stars! Mars’ red dot is easily seen with a naked eye as well as white dots of Jupiter and Saturn. The deer is often seen on the lawn, and the little squirrels run around. No car is simply unreachable. The hotel does not have lunch, only breakfast and dinner, breakfast 22 knives, simple Western style breakfast. Room facilities are average and old.

Out of all the hotels we stayed at during our 18-day road trip in the US, this one was the best. It was incredibly quiet and clean, and there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, which was very convenient. Plus, the hotel offered a valet parking service – you just leave your keys, and when you need your car the next day, you just have to give them a three-minute heads-up. All in all, I was extremely satisfied!

The hotel staff are very nice and very helpful in everything. The breakfast variety can fully meet the needs of balanced nutrition. The twin room we booked should be able to accommodate four people; the basic facilities are available, and there is a coin-operated washer dryer, which is very convenient. There is free parking and it is very convenient to have a car. Stayed for nearly ten days, the experience is very good, recommended, will come again.

It’s a lovely hotel and great location for me. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room, specifically the night stand area. It was very dirty behind the nightstand and the way they have the cords hooked to an extension box …. Every time I moved in the bed one plug kept disconnecting. I also found a pair of glasses that did not belong to me. Tells me no one cleaned around that area.

I appreciated the kind reception staff upon check-in. However, our overall experience was disappointing. We had originally booked a double room suitable for a family of four. At check-in, we were unexpectedly informed that due to a system error, a double bed was no longer available, and we were instead provided with an extra bed. Unfortunately, the extra bed was uncomfortable, and the blanket was too thin, leaving us cold throughout the night. If we had traveled with two children instead of one, this arrangement would have been unacceptable. Despite this inconvenience, no compensation or discount was offered. Even more confusing was that a quick search on Trip.com still showed that the hotel offered double beds, making us question the validity of the excuse we were given. Additionally, the in-room heater did not function properly—the temperature would not rise no matter how high we set it. We reported this to the concierge, but no staff ever came, even after midnight. As a result, we spent a very cold night. There were also no slippers provided in the room. We had hoped this would be a memorable trip for good reasons, but unfortunately, the lack of proper room management and follow-up service left us very disappointed. I hope the hotel management takes immediate steps to improve their operations.

This stay was not what I would call good... It was in fact a poor experience. By this I mean. I arrived at 3.50pm to get checked into a room that I was informed would be ready for check in at 3pm... The room was not ready, and i was told they would try to have it ready in 20-25 mins. I explained that that was not acceptable. I was told I could wait in the lobby area...I again explained that that was not acceptable. Another employee jumped in to say, I could sit in the lobby. Now I am irritated. I explained in more detail that I could not very well change in the lobby, being that I had to change and get to a wedding in Yonkers for 5.30...He then started to challenge me. Started telling me how he didn't like the tone of my voice. I then dismissed him and suggested he move away and let me deal with the situation with the desk clerk...who by the way was VERY, VERY, helpful, and whom I had no issues with, because she was doing everything she could to accommodate. The real problem was with the cleaning crew and their supervisor , who kept telling her the wrong things. I even offered for them to allow me to change, and then they could have the room to complete getting it ready. They told her to tell me that it wasn't protocol for me to do that. To which I responded that it wasn't protocol to not have the room ready. At this time the desk associate, Aaliyah, who as I said was very helpful, and who I had NO ISSUES with, and she knew that, suggested that I would be reimbursed 50% for all the stress that I encountered, and gave me the room key to allow me and my wife to change and be on our way. This is where I say common sense made more sense than ”protocol”. So my review will be....Great job handling a difficult situation by the desk associate, Aaliyah... Poor job by the room ready crew. And a terrible job by the associate who decided to challenge me in what was a difficult situation, instead of finding a way to help. 5 STARS for Aaliyah 1 STAR for Cleaning Crew (-0) for associate.
