The owner of York House Hotel went out of his way to meet our needs. We stayed in a garden room, which was spacious, very clean and comfortable, equipped with everything we needed for our stay. There were lots of glass cups, plates, bowls, etc. in the room to eat in the small garden. The king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious.

We booked a room where the images showed a bathtub, only to arrive and be told the rooms are randomised and the pictures shown are misleading. We didn’t get a bathtub which we were very much looking forwards to. The tv’s are digital but not smart, there is no Netflix or YouTube, nor hotel wifi. Staff were kind and apologetic, but unable to help with any of the issues.
