Stayed here for one night. Hotel was spotlessly clean, staff polite. I had one drink in the bar which was reasonably priced. Room was comfortable, breakfast was decent and plentiful. One concern I would have that would probably put me off using is the parking. I was lucky enough to get what was the last space. Despite the hotel appearing fairly quiet the car park was full with many cars parked in areas not meant for parking. The road outside had multiple cars parked on pavement some covered in tickets. I can only guess the car park is used by people flying out. There aren’t any obvious nearby options if you couldn’t find a spot.

I had been coming here for years and the hotel itself is the usual good standards of a Hampton Hilton, but the car park situation has become absolutely diabolical. It is that bad I have finally started staying elsewhere on my visits to Aberdeen. The place is overrun by offshore workers not even staying at the hotel and Hilton have no interest to resolve it, culminating in regular paying guests getting issued 100 pound parking tickets on their stay.

I travel to Aberdeen several times a year as I still have family and friends in the city, but had stayed at hotels not far away. However, I wasn't impressed with my usual hotel as the air con hadn't worked in my past 3 visits and having the window open meant I was disturbed frequently by passing traffic and drunken guests and, on one occasion, a wedding party. Searching around, I thought I'd try here but was very apprehensive due to some of the reviews but, as you will read, I needn't have worried! My stay was fantastic and I think this will be my hotel of choice for future trips. Starting off with the negatives - it's in the middle of nowhere! Whilst it's just off of the city bypass, the hotel is located in a business park so there are no amenities around. The hotel does have limited food and drink available so you can always order room service if needed. The parking appears problematic - it's a small car park which only had a handful of free spaces when we arrived and we had to give the staff our car's registration number to park. I saw cars on the pavement and grass verge on the outskirts of the hotel and it's first come, first served. However, the hotel is a 5 mins walk from Craibstone Park and Ride which also has a number of Electric Car chargers (the rapid chargers have a 2 hours limit with a penalty for overstaying). If you can't get a space at the hotel, park here and move your car into the car park when you see a space is free'd up. I had booked using a well known booking site / app and checking in was simple enough although the printed form they gave me had some of my details in different areas (my surname was in the address field of the checking-in form and my telephone no was in the booking ref) and I was given 2 room cards. The rooms are located to the left of reception, with lifts before you reach a door for the ground floor rooms that requires your key card to open. I had my wife and daughter with me so had booked a family room - we got a double bed and a sofa bed so could have slept 4. The room had blackout curtains (which were great), kettle (with tea and coffee), iron (and board) and hairdryer in a small built in wardrobe where the door doubles as the door to the en-suite (if you slide open the wardrobe door, it closes the en-suite). There was air con (fantastically efficient - especially in this heat!) and the room was pretty quiet. I only heard a guest running in the corridor and then the security door slamming shut, once. The bed was very firm but the pillows were really soft and my head just about sunk through! However, the room and sheets were all very clean and the sofa bed was all made up and ready for us. There is no fridge, so no mini bar but also, it meant there was nowhere for me to keep my bottle of water cold. There's a small fitness centre on the 1st floor and a bar to the right side of reception (I think the reception staff also double up as bar tenders during the evening!). The dining room is further

Hotel very clean and rooms very nice and well equipped. Pillows are extremely comfortable. Staff pleasant. Breakfast OK at best, nothing wonderful and food edible. Location not the best for access to airport. If you dont have a car its a trek on foot and not a nice walk for females travelling alone especially at night. All OK with stay until being charged £6 for 2 small bottles of water and despite having an allowance for food and drink on reservation, could not charge water to this as it appears that the ‘clock stops at midnight for this allowance and today is a new day, so have to pay for water’ is the receptionists interpretation of the hotel policy, when I asked for an explanation. I was too shocked not to pay and just wish I had overcome my bewilderment to challenge further. So £6 out of pocket for my 2 small bottles of water because I was unaware I should have bought them when checking in and not the next morning I left hoping I was never unfortunate enough to have to stay there again.

I have stayed at this hotel and many others in Aberdeen City center , as far as being clean its spotless , also I have never had a issue with getting a space for my car like any other hotel at a busy location spaces come and go all the time My big issue with this hotel is the dinner option very limited and to think the Pizza is a frozen Goodfellows sold in asda for £3 but with a whopping £12+ price tag but you have a wonderfully resturaunt nearby in the Dyce farm that give decent quality cooked food .

Such an amazing hotel! Super quiet even near the airport! I love how amazing the views were of the runway and the hills in the distance! The room was so good. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was great! The hotel is about no more than a 5 minute walk from the bus stop which had a regular service to Aberdeen City. The hotel breakfast was also amazing this was our first time staying in a Hilton and we have continued to use the bran since as this stay was so good and have never been let down!

We were booked into the hotel for 3 nights, however there was no housekeeping undertaken at any time or bins emptied in our bedroom. This was clearly very disappointing for a Hilton hotel.

Disappointing stay overall and really not good enough given the room rate is on par with full-service hotels. Context, I’m a long term Hilton Diamond member who stays at various Hilton brands extensively, including Hampton hotels around the world. That doesn’t mean I think I’m somehow superior to anyone else - it just means I have a LOT of experience stopping in Hilton brand hotels and am loyal (though starting to question the value of my loyalty given the lack of recognition from Hilton). I am staying here for 3 days in October 2023 for Business. First the positives - the place is new and very clean, the maids clean the room to a high standard on a daily basis, and the room itself is comfortable with a nice armchair. The aircon is super efficient. It’s not luxurious by any stretch of the imagination, but that’s not what Hampton is about. And the ‘Hello & welcome’ card in the room on arrival was a nice touch. Next the ‘meh’ - the TVs in the room are small compared to other Hiltons & Hamptons. The shelf it sits on could easily take a much bigger TV but this TV is smaller than my home office PC monitor. Also there’s not much imagination gone into the design - compared to for example, the Hampton at Waterloo which has funky pictures, mini Smeg fridges, vibrant colour schemes etc, this Hampton is bland and functional. Now the ‘Not very good’ bits. I tend to be a heavy sleeper so it’s very rare I get woken up in hotels, including ones in busy locations in Central London. But here I am being woken up several times a night. The doors are really thin and seem to let all noise into the room. I really pity those who get a room opposite the lifts as they must really suffer. Unlike most hotels where there is a lift lobby, the lifts here open directly opposite bedroom doors. Also The location is a bit ‘middle of nowhere’ - the nearest pub is a 20+ minute walk away (and that isn’t much cop). Finally the ‘not happy’ bits. The “restaurant menu” is really just a list of microwave standard meals. Choices are a Mac n Cheese, Lasagne, Pasta, Jalfrezi, Chilli con Carne, Feta Salad, Fishcakes Chicken Mushroom pie, Singapore Noodles or Red Thai Curry. Really poor selection really, made even worse by the fact that during my stay 2 of these were “unavailable”. Now you could argue that Hampton is a “cut down” Hilton brand - but they are still happy to charge premium prices for drinks, and I’m paying more per night here for this Hampton in Aberdeen than I have paid for full service Hiltons in London. The other show-breaker for me, is the car park. It’s rammed - during my entire stay I haven’t seen a single space available, and there are cars parked on the grass verges, on the pavements, all over the place. Taking a walk around the car park it’s clear many of these have been here some time (the brakes are rusted and there’s a layer of grime on the windscreens) suggesting many (maybe most?) of the cars in the car park belong to offshore workers. I strongly

It was a smooth check-in and check-out. The room was clean and was even cleaned the morning after we went out for the day, which is unusual these days..
