Horrible, awful, unsafe - avoid at all costs I arrived and immediately checked out bc of the construction and the awful guests having a party with their hotel door wide open. These guests threatened me when I asked them to close their room, while reception looked / listened to what was going on, ignoring the situation which became super unsafe as one of the more aggressive guests followed me to the elevator. The hotel refused to refund or apologise for the situation they caused, leaving a female solo traveler without accommodation for my trip, which I then had to rebook at a much higher cost at short notice.

I certainly think that the fault lies not so much with the establishment, but with the OTA (trip.com) since the filters are poorly applied, or they do not apply breakfast or directly lead to confusion.

I would have given this 4/5 from our actual experience at the hotel. However due to the works going on directly outside the hotel I thought this was fair. The hotel is bang in the city centre of Agadir. Although the hotel is not undergoing any refit the areas outside are. Having spoken with the locals they are preparing for the African nations cup in 2025 and the World Cup in 2030. It didn’t affect our experience tbh but it may for some. We found the people at the hotel fantastic. They were very friendly and helpful, printed off our boarding passes and gave us some tips on things to do. We found the room comfortable and it was cleaned everyday. The sky bar on the top floor is used by locals with local music entertainment. We really enjoyed mixing with the locals and all were very friendly. If you are looking for a pool holiday this is probably not for you as we found this our least favourite part of the hotel. It’s about a 15 min walk down to the beach area and probably 25 mins to the marine. This was not an issue for us as we liked the mix of tourist/local experience. There’s a little bar just over the road from the hotel which we enjoyed. Everyone we came into contact with was so friendly, we shared drinks and dancing with people of all different nationalities in there. We would like to return to this hotel once the works have been completed to give it the full experience. We did get a bargain holiday and it was def worth the price we paid, although I feel the hotel may get some iffy reviews because of its current surroundings. Guess if you are aware of this before you book then expectations are met.

i would give 0 stars if i could. hotel is on a building site, disgusting rooms, creepy men shouting things at you as you walk around the hotel. we did not feel safe in the hotel, it was creepy, eery and extremely outdated. not to mention the beds were rock soild, i applaud anyone who managed to sleep on them, because we could barley sit on them. we checked out an hour after arriving, save your money.

Do not stay here under any circumstances. I arrived this week to a hotel under construction with very loud guests partying with their hotel door open at 7pm. The hotel staff were present and aware of the noise and disturbance but chose to ignore so when I asked the guest to close his door, he got irrate and incredibly aggressive and him and his two party guests threatened me and followed me to the elevator. Reception also confirmed they heard this altercation but chose not to assist. I told reception I was checking out as I didn’t feel safe in the hotel having been threatened within the first 15 mins of my arrival, no apology was offered, it was in fact demanded that I paid the hotel tax before I left to find another hotel (at twice the price because of booking last minute). The hotel have refused to refund the 4 nights I prepaid despite the issues at their hotel, also no apology or explanation. If you want peace and quite / to be safe and not surrounded by **** guests or spineless employees - DO NOT STAY HERE

I stayed here in November 2023, friendly staff, especially the cook of dinner, is a very friendly man,the room was cleaned every day, hotel is well located, close to restaurant, sea, shops, souks, good wifi, this location allows you to go everywhere on foot, habiba

The area around the property is under construction. The staff cannot handle requests and complaints seriously. the breakfast does not meet the value of the service. Also, air conditioning is very bad in most of the rooms.

This is my 6 times staying at New farah hotel, it is in the city centre plenty of good restaurants, the beach is 20 minutes walk, you can take Tax which cost you less 20 Dirham. Staff are amazing that’s the reason I keep gonog back there, Big thanks To SAEED.only one issue the doing road works around but it will finish soon.

I was here before but I found this hotel and the room this time disappointing, especially the bed. Too small with only a sheet. The blanquet was too heavy. WiFi was poor. Friendly and helpfull staff.

I spend 2 or 3 days in Agadir every year, and always stay at `The New Farah. The staff is simply amazing, especially the manager and reception staff. They treat me with such respect, they are helpful and so friendly. My room is always ready even when I arrive at the crack of dawn. I always end up with a big room, with a beautiful bathroom. The sky lounge and the pool are great too. I just love the location. the whole place is always spotless.

Length of stay: 7 nights with 3 children aged 8, 12 and 16. When we arrived, there was a power outage from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., with children... not easy. The hotel is shabby, dilapidated. The food varies little (couscous in the morning, noon and evening...ah no sometimes it's tagine)... No Buffet. Breakfast is unsuitable for children: no milk chocolate, no cereals.... There is a fast food restaurant opposite the hotel: our savior. The only positive point is that the rooms are well cleaned, the cleaning staff are friendly and smiling. The swimming pool (more of a large jacuzzi) is simply dirty: it's swimming in murky water, a horror. We can't see the bottom. They attempt a clean-up every morning, it would take months of sanitation to see the bottom.... We are shocked. The shower leaks everywhere. A musty smell throughout the apar**ent. Finally, it is not a hotel for a family because there is a shisha bar on the top floor with music every evening very loud and very very late... The hotel is extremely noisy. It is a passing hotel for those who would not have found anything else. Even the locals don't stop there. Having spoken with some, they only stay one night. We don't rest. We are extremely tired. Our trip is the worst. Extremely disappointed.
