Holiday Inn Express & Suites Alva Reviews

We had booked a two day stay. I had booked there because of pool. After getting there we found out pool was closed. We were able to cancel the second day and went to different motel.

Our room and bathroom was very clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. My son really enjoyed the fresh baked cookies in the evening.

Our shower drain was very slow on draining. You stood in a couple inches of water while you showered. There was no hot breakfast like the pictures showed. Cereal and muffins was the breakfast. My cell charger outlet by the lamp didnt work very good either. It was finicky.

Very crowded and noisy. The floor creaks very bad and there was not cereal and bananas out for breakfast.

Love staying here. The mattresses needs some work. They are super uncomfortable! And your staff if always nice and friendly but y’all keep charging the wrong credit card!!

Beds were comfy, ac worked good. Did have to move from Rm 200 as tv did not work. Breakfast was well done nice selection area very clean.

Great hotel- would stay here again. 30 minutes from Little Sahara. Multiple other rigs besides ours parked on property, so plenty of room. Clean room, good breakfast, nice staff. Pool was closed while we were there which was a bummer for our kid but not a deal breaker for us.

AC/ fan unit did not work in our first room but we received quick staff attention & a new room. Bed was decent, room was clean & large. No USB plugs which, this day in age, was surprising. Walls were thin & could hear the neighbors talking & banging around well past midnight. Breakfast included eggs & real bacon. The sausage was questionable. There’s never much a gluten free person can enjoy at hotel breakfasts so this was a nice surprise.

This is the best hotel for the small town of Alva. We always stay here for my sons football games. The mattresses could use a little work. They aren’t the most comfortable. The hotel is really clean and the employees are super nice and always ready to help. I give it a 8.5 out of 10. You always need improvements.

I wasn’t expecting the room to be as big as it was. It was really nice staying there. Will come back again for sure since my son is a college student at the NWOSU.

We really enjoyed our stay! We first booked at Comfort Inn next door and it was absolutely disgusting. We ended up switching over to Holiday Inn Express and was so happy that we did! We couldn’t asked for anything better!

Hotel’s hot water was out. Cold showers at night and in am. Staff new about this but didn’t inform us at checkin

I did not like that our water was cold. They need to turn up the water heater, also the pool was out of service. The sausage gravy was cold and it was just put on the table at 6:00 and I was there at 6:05 to eat
