I stayed at this hotel for 1 night whilst on a business trip over the weekend and it was honestly the worst hotel iv ever stayed at. I arrived at 11pm at night, I was dropped by a shuttle bus outside the hotel and made my way in alone. It was pitch black and there was only 1 sign for the reception towards the back of the hotel. I walked the whole length of the hotel which is all outdoors at 11pm with no lighting and couldn't find the reception. Turns out reception was closed so I waited for 15 minutes in the dark on the main road alone (single girl) until someone could come and show me to my room. The gentleman who came complained that I arrived too late and showed me to a disgusting room that looks nothing like the images. Old wooden chipped flooring, mould on the walls and chipped tiles. It also smelt so strongly of stale smoke. I wanted to take a shower as I had been out since 5am that morning and I discovered there was no towels, no hot water and no drinking water in the fridge. The fridge in the room was off and empty. Unfortunately I couldn't find anyone to rectify these things for me as it was late at night with no one to talk to but fortunately I was out of there at 9am the next morning.

The encounter with Lakki Village - became a meeting with a heartwarming paradise. We arrived off-season which made us almost feel like the place was ours. Everywhere, preparations for the season were underway, but it didn't disturb. Nikki welcomed us as if we were family, and took such loving care of us with delightful breakfast and dinner - where there was time for cozy chats with Nikki and Sophia. Lakki Village became a wonderful base for walks into the most beautiful blooming nature. Beautiful places can do a lot - but it's the people who make a difference. Warm, friendly service at this family-owned hotel and restaurant. The food was wonderful with Mama’s Chicken being our favorite. The unspoiled landscape really felt like authentic Greece, and the restaurant sits on the beach edge. Live Greek music and dancing made for a magical stay. Plus, an open-air massage.

Great location. Breakfast was ample. Coffee not great. People and staff very attentive. Slightly noisy air con. Bed ok. Bar area and pool were pleasant. Bar man Billy was a star! Security good. Double check you room number and location in case it’s next to little play area as I guess this might be noisy in the mornings when kids stay.

The place is super family friendly. We rented a car in Katapola as after that we were going to go to the Monastery and then head to Aegiali. They had a lot for parking that was just few steps from the village. This is a big difference comparing to other islands, feels less touristy (something we liked a lot). They were very cordial, the breakfast that is included is very extensive There was a lot of wind during our stay in Amorgos so many beaches were empty and no small boat service, so to have a full pool and bar service was amazing for us. The kids enjoy it. The man at the bar was really nice The room was big and good size bathroom Even we stayed for two days, we for surely recommend!

Beautiful location, nice people with great sense of hospitality. A feeling like in a real cycladic village, situated by the sea, a quite familiar atmosphere, many possibilities of meeting mostly interesting and fine people, Greeks as well as non-Greeks - and also the possibility of quietness. Apart from the port oa Aegiali, but just 5 minutes to walk on the beach to the best and most original discotheque of the Cyclades (Mimis' "The Que"), and 15 also along the sea to come the the scene of tavernas and terraces that make the flavour of this place. Just a pleasure.

We absolutely loved our time at Lakki Village. The pool was fantastic with lots of room to lounge (check my photo!), and the food was truly the best - we didn't want to eat anywhere else. Amazing place! We'll be back for sure! The staff were friendly and super helpful when we needed towels and an extra toothbrush. The absolute best!

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. Turquoise waters and a beach on your doorstep and an easy hike through wild flowers, herbs and Greek villages in the other direction. Perfect. The owners were great too, accommodating, helpful and keen for us to have a good time. This was particularly important because we came before the tourism season had fully begun. They helped us find places that were open for food and drink, and directed us accurately how to get to places on the island with our rented car (which they also organised). On that note, I HIGHLY recommend people to visit Lakki on Amorgos BEFORE tourism is in full swing (i.e. mid April). This was amazing, we had beaches to ourselves all week and the weather was great too. Top marks all around! Thanks

Really great place to stay if you have kids. There's enough to play with and separate kiddie pool. The "downside" of the pool was (in our opinion) the fact that it was really salty as they use seawater. Which is great for the environment! Just not as great for your eyes ;-) The poolbar is also very nice, to get yourself a nice drink while you relax. Rooms were a bit outdated but clean, although housekeeping tends to forget to sweep the floors so the sand piles up a little as Lakki Village is placed right next to the beach. Which is amazing of course. Location is also great, you can walk to the center of the village on the beach. The AC was outdated and a little loud, making it a little hard to sleep from time to time. The restaurant isn't really that good which is a shame, otherwise we would have loved to eat there a little more often. But the staff is really sweet and very willing to help. Breakfast was also very nice and sourced with local ingredients, although I would have loved a little bit of bacon in stead of the sausage they had. But I guess that's just a preference. All in all we really had an amazing time staying here.
