This hotel is more like a hostel. There are steep stairs to the 1st and 2nd floors. It is situated in a bustling street around 1.8km from Amsterdam Central Station. There are many shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. Staff are helpful but only in a perfunctory manner. The hotel rooms are very small and closely situated together. They are clean and comfortable enough however. Clean towels are provided daily. TV and small electric fan also included. There is no complimentary bottled water so you will need to buy your own.
Now to the negatives of staying here … if you are looking for a quiet place to rest for the night do not choose this hotel. The rooms are not well soundproofed and there is a lot of people to-ing and fro-ing late at night, knocking on doors, opening and shutting doors, talking loudly in the corridor, not to mention thumping dance music going on into the small hours from adjacent rooms. A lack of consideration for other hotel guests seemingly prevails. Overall, this is more like an overpriced hostel than a mid-priced hotel, and if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place to sleep then you should avoid booking here.
