Great family hotel, which is fun, lots of happy faces, but it's not overun with children... Food is very good, plenty of.. Rooms are kept in a superb condition during your stay, it's never too much for the cleaning and room staff. Beach very close and is ok... Great restaurant beach side. 3 pool areas caters for all....

We had a really nice experience. Loved the place, the atmosphere, the Wi-Fi was working properly to be able to work from laptop, variety of food, pleasantly surprised with available cocktails during the day and the evenings, the options of pools, bars by the pools... And the staff was wonderful - very helpful, friendly and nice, especially Aldo from animation and waitress Maria at Panorama bar - love you! Certainly recommended, especially for families.

I picked this resort after a lot of research and reading all the positive reviews. First impressions I was very happy with my choice. Lovely welcome at reception, after checking in and receiving all the info regarding the resort we were taken to our room. ( 1353) I booked a family apartment for our stay as the pictures online looked amazing so I thought I would spend an extra couple hundred pounds for the apartment. Unfortunately our apartment looked NOTHING like the pictures online. It was dark, and very dated. I even went back to reception to check if we were in a family apartment room. To which they said yes. ( so please do take that in mind when booking. The pictures don't actually look like the room you might get) I was rather annoyed, but then went to relax at the pool and I soon realised we won't be spending too much time in the room anyway. We did however have an incredible holiday and will book again in a heart beat. ( just not a family apartment 🤔 ) As other people have mentioned, the rooms are not well sound proofed so you bound to be woken up by inconsiderable neighbours at some point. Food is amazing, staff are all friendly and even though the resort was fully booked, there was always sunloungers available at various different pools. All in all, an amazing holiday and would return.

After much research we opted for this resort, we booked via Thomas cook as they had the best price including the flights. This is an all inclusive resort, despite it being fully booked it doesn't feel that busy. There is something for everybody, food and entertainment alike. We are normally not keen on all inclusive, but we were not disappointed. We hired a car from the hotel (it was super easy and really well priced) and we explored around as well. The beach is the part we liked the least, I prefer sandy beaches to pebbles, but it is really not a big deal, I think I am just fussy. Now the praise: Stella, the guest relations: she is amazing, they made the stay comfortable and they also organised a suprise for our anniversary! She upgraded us to a 5 star hotel for the last few days, what an unexpected lovely touch! Nikos and Theo: these two guys brightened up the days by the pool, always happy, nice banter and lots of good suggestions about places.to visit locally. Capitano Georgiu and Yulie, thalasso beach bar: they made our dinner by the beach a lovely experience. Always upbeat, friendly and funny. Nothing was too much to ask and we felt very well looked after, so much so that we would like to come back soon with our family. Thank you Mitsis 😊

currently back in the uk , after a weeks stay at the Mitis Cretan Village .My initial review i wrote i was asked to remove by the management due to some of the content i wrote !!. we arrived late evening , and check in was smooth ( there was only us a party of 7 staying from our transfer ) , a 48 euro tax was to be paid , so be aware if you don't know . once booked in we were told the restaurant was open till 4am for a light meal which was pleasant surprise after a long day of traveling .Our party was split, but this was not a problem . ROOM Our room was above the reception area , a pleasant even with three staying , with two single beds and a double , all very comfortable . With the double please note one of you will be up against the wall . Bathroom , was big enough , cleaned on a regular basis , shower and bath combination , toiletries supplied , alongside a hair dryer . Our drain was blocked and overflowed when the bath drained away but this was fixed promptly. We were fournette to have a sea view , and extensive terrence , where the sun shone most of the day . Mini fridge , which had a bottle of water ( large ) two bottles of beer , with soft drinks also . This was supposed to be reillfiled every two days , alas it was not , and i polighty pointed this out to reception , plus on one occasion the room was not attended too , this also had to be addressed . The restaurants. The main one which served an international array of dishes , with slade's and cold plates , alongside, fruit and ice cream . i did find the food a bit bland and repetitive for me personally but overall it was ok but i did have to reheat my food in a microwave on occasions .!! I booked the al carte restaurant , having been told it was fully booked for the time required , only to find out half the place was empty . The service was ok but maybe more training should be given when serving guest , a limited menu to choose from on this occasion we chose greek the other was the seafood restaurant. THE POOLS There are 4 pools to choose from , all good . If sitting at the top pool your find most of the activities take place , our experience of this ok , But the music being played was so loud at time that you couldn't hear self speak or relax, and if traveling with children it was a little off putting . We did ask on several occasions for it to be turned done but was rarely taken notice of ! In the end the magment were told and by the time we were on last day the music was amazingly reduced and a sensible sound was applied and all could enjoy the actives without being deafened. The animation staff work tirelessly throughout the day to get people involved but need to consider that not all want to be active and simply want to relax , yes i know their are other pools to do this so it's an individual choice . All bars were pool bars were open with a array of drinks being served, they were adequate. All bar staff were friendly with poppie and Maria and nicos

From the very first day, it was everything you wanted! We checked in, and the staff were all lovely and very accommodating. They take care of everything, and something we really appreciated was the fact that the buffet was open until 4am - something that was great considering we checked in at midnight (and the fact that after long days of drinking and laughing, we could soak it all up with a classic 2am spag bowl). The events staff are great, they encourage you to really get stuck in and tell you all about the activities and show for later in the evening too, really trying to build a friendship and relationship instead, which gives it a great feeling, which was appreciate by us all who went. Marayah, was great, she led a lot of the water polo, and we participated as much as we could, while she also took the time, even in her free time, to build a friendship and connections with not just us but others as well. She is a HUGE asset to the Mitsis Cretan Village team. Down at Milo's bar, a bartender named Nagy is a friendly face you should all go and see, he takes care of you, remembers your orders, and is always up for a chat and to ask how your day is. Additionally, he speaks 8 languages! another huge asset to the team. The food was brilliant, having themed nights every day, and a very catering team to make you feel welcomed. I can't recommend this place enough, it encapsulates everything you want from a holiday, is friendly, family orientated, and is a great place to make those life long memories you will cherish forever. I only hope to revisit as soon as possible and keep making these fantastic memories. Of course, the people you go with are a huge part of it too, but if this place inst on your to-go-to list, then it most certainly should be!

Me and my boyfriend just stayed two weeks at this hotel and it was a dream! We thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment provided by the staff, especially Marayah, and also Anna, Aldo, Jane, Andrea, Angela, Julien, Ezora and Diletta. The staff in general were really friendly, it was always nice to be welcomed into the main bar by Maria, Elenei, Vasia and Josephine. If you want the best cocktails though you have to hit the pool bar at night with Nagy! Overall it was a great experience and we would really love to return!

I love Ellada ! Crete is so beautiful . Thank you a lot Cretane Village was amazing . Very beautiful place . Absolutely amazing and friendly staff . Was first time when we remember names ))) for Nagy pool bar mylos, Vasia main bar, Maria main restaurant and Irina beach restaurant - big big thank you ! If all bussines have a staff like you they will have a succes !!!! About a food - not variety but so tasty . Room a small but very clean . Beach as well very clean . Highly recommended!

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. All the services and facilities met our expectations. However, the rooms were poorly soundproofed, which made the nights sometimes noisy and a bit less restful. Additionally, we were never able to book at the two restaurants included in our package, despite several attempts throughout our stay. Despite these minor inconveniences, we would like to highlight a very positive point: the bartender Nagy. He was incredible throughout our stay. His professionalism, kindness, and excellent service really made a difference and made our vacation unforgettable. Thanks to him, we had wonderful moments and will keep an excellent memory of our stay. Thank you to the entire hotel staff for these wonderful holidays!
