Au Fond de Mer View

I had a wonderful stay at Au Fond De Mer View and would definitely recommend it. The apartment is spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The view is absolutely beautiful, and the location is perfect — just a short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. What I especially appreciated was how quiet and peaceful the area is, while still being convenient for getting around the island. The host was very friendly, responsive, and helpful with any questions, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, it’s a great place if you’re looking for a comfortable, well-located apartment with a relaxing atmosphere. I would happily stay here again!

We had a wonderful 8 nights stay at Au Fond de Mere. The apartment was clean, the kitchen was well equipped. We had a lovely terrace with garden view and access to the rest of the premises which also included a terrace to have our sundowner drinks with wonderful view over the sea. Solana, the owner, greeted us in the morning with guava and avocado from the garden. She was helpful with all the information we needed and supplied us with both beach towels and snorkeling gear. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Very nice appartement with wonderful seaview from the spacious terasse. The appertement is tastefully furnished. We prepared meals, the kitchen had all necessary equipement. As we had problems to fly back home due to the Iran conflict, Mrs. Solana has been very helpful in organizing flight tickets and gave us any support we needed. We will surely come again to "Au Fond de Mere".

I can highly recommend this superbly maintained apartment with stunning views.There's a nice bar nearby, and if you've eaten there, you can use the sun loungers for free, which I think is great.

A very comfortable and beauty appartement on a wonderful location. The rooms are very nice, clean and have everything you need. The terrace is marvelous, you can enjoy from a stunning view and relax while dining. The host Solana, is very friendly, helpful and gave us a lot of tips over the beaches, the village and the take-aways. The beach is nearby and very good for snorkeling.

Exceptional Stay – Highly Recommended! My partner and I enjoyed our stay at Au Fond De Mer, it was truly amazing and one of the best experiences we’ve had. The property is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The room has everything you need and even more. The kitchen is having all the needed utensils and everything you need in general. A special thanks to the owner, Solana, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Anything we needed was taken care of quickly and with genuine care, which made our experience even better. We were even granted an early check in at 10 am, which was very helpful after our early flight. The location is perfect, with two beautiful beaches just a short walk away, making it easy to relax and enjoy the island. Coming up to the accomodation there is a short steep hill which could be difficult for people with accessibility needs, however it was not a problem for us. There is aswell a car park provided in the accomodation and down near the beach. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. We can’t recommend it enough and would definitely love to return!

Highly recommend, the apartment is in our opinion in best part of Mahe. Main places to visit nearby. Only short walk to snorkelling beach, close to shops takeaways and restaurants. Hello everyone. I recommend the apartments. The first time we were in the Seychelles, we stayed with Solana (the hostess) in Au Fond De Mer. Solana and the girls (assistants) are great fellows - help, advice, recommendations, support, quality, service are all the words that I associate with these apartments and Solana) The style of the apartments is top-notch, large territory, fantastic terrace, all in cozy stylish tiles. The furniture is not new, but it's not "tired" either. Instead, it immerses you in a unique blend of African and European styles. The atmosphere is truly captivating. There are all the necessary amenities, and I don't think we needed anything extra. The beach is just across the street, a mere 3 minutes away. The beach offers excellent snorkeling opportunities, but you'll need flippers to venture further due to the strong current. There is a place to just swim, there are two beaches nearby - one with a large sandy coastline, the other with a small coastline, but more picturesque because of the large boulders (snorkeling is right here). At the same time, there are algae on both beaches, so when there is a strong wind, grass constantly tickles in the water) it didn't bother us, so the beaches came to us) The infrastructure is nearby, within walking distance, but we were by car, so it's even easier. We had a fantastic stay in Mahé and truly enjoyed our time at this property. The place was comfortable, well-maintained, and offered a beautiful ocean view that made our stay even more special. The location is excellent, very convenient for both shopping and visiting nearby beaches, which made exploring the island easy and enjoyable. It’s also a great option for families with kids. The environment felt safe, relaxing, and very family-friendly, allowing us to fully enjoy our time together. A special thank you to Solana, the landlord, for her exceptional kindness and support throughout our visit. She was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and always available whenever we needed assistance. Her hospitality truly made a difference and made us feel at home. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Mahé.
