Whilst this hotel has a lot going for it in many ways, not least its' location and some (but not all) of the staff are friendly, polite, well-informed and efficient, there are certain aspects that I was unhappy with.
Firstly, having booked a single room more than three months earlier, the standard of my room was - whilst very clean and efficiently cleaned - it was most disappointing to discover that the room did not have a window...! Pretty basic to say the least.
Secondly, the wi-fi connection in the room was at times extremely poor, constantly cutting out.
Thirdly, when checking out on my departure date I was suddenly presented with the bill for my stay, despite having been booked through '*******'. I was unaware that the hotel were expecting me to personally pay in person.
Surely this should have been raised long before I was checking-out. perhaps more efficiently when I was checking-in four days earlier.
I pointed this out when I was suddenly hit with this demand, emphasising that I had a flight to catch directly. The member of staff - unlike all others I had dealt with during my four-day stay - was abrupt, ill-mannered and rude, simply demanding payment, which was made.
Thankfully I did catch my flight - no thanks to the member of staff at the hotel,
