The hotel is quite old, and all the facilities are dated. The air conditioning, in particular, is very noisy and kept me from sleeping. But if I turned it off, the room temperature was uncomfortable. On the plus side, the room itself was quite spacious.

The Sheraton Pentagon City offers a fantastic view of the Washington Monument. The best part was being able to watch both the sunrise and sunset right from my bed. My room faced east, so I imagine the rooms on the opposite side would have had sunset views. No matter which side you're on, you're in for a treat! The hotel's decor is quite distinctive, very formal and classic, much like American business attire.

We stayed at the Sheraton in Washington, DC, for two nights during the Christmas holiday while my sister was visiting from New Mexico. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is a bit old-fashioned. There are no restaurants nearby. It's about a $12 taxi ride from the airport. Getting to the main attractions like the White House, Capitol, and Lincoln Memorial is very convenient, usually a $10 taxi ride. You can even walk to all those sights.

Rooms are great, with great views, and they offer a fantastic free Château Press service that takes you to the local Metro station which helps a lot when travelling around the heart of Washington city. Only downside I saw was that they didn’t have anybody wash, anybody lotion and unfortunately after coming back on my second day the room only seemed to be half tidy, which isn’t anything to be annoyed about, but for the price that I have paid, I was expecting a slightly better service.
