This was a nice property and a great location in downtown Asheville, close to many attractions. We loved the ability to walk everywhere. We did have an interaction with an aggressive homeless person that took away from the experience. We also lacked hot water for most of the weekend which lowered our rating, particularly given the cost of the room.

Location is amazing - right in the heart of charming downtown, as was the bellman who greeted us!

They had to move us to a sister hotel, and they gave us a room with one bed and small, I had to complain about it, to get a bed for my children

Great hotel. We had a king suite and the room was huge. Excellent location, I the middle of downtown. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable beds. Love this hotel.

The hotel has historic charm with modern amenities. The location is perfect and the service was outstanding. The hotel is easy to navigate with a baby stroller and offered several different room options to meet our needs as a family. Valet parking is an additional fee, but much less expensive than a parking ticket!

Friendly staff and loved the option of valet parking!! They gave us a free upgrade and we had a room with a city view. Loved the shower though water wasn't as hot as I would have liked. Loved our stay!

We stayed here while visiting Biltmore for Christmas. The hotel was very clean but has a little age on it. Parking is by valet and is very efficient and convenient. The location of the hotel within downtown Asheville is excellent and convenient to many restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again.

The shower was difficult to use. The hot water would come and go. Once I adjusted the water slightly while in the shower and got freezing cold water instantly on a morning where it was 29 degrees.
The staff and room were wonderful otherwise.
