All the staff at The George of Ashley are so genuine, caring and provide a wonderful service. The food was absolutely superb and the best steak I have had for a very long time. Superb value for money

I booked at the very last minute and was not disappointed. The Rio was really clean as comfortable. Te staff were all very friendly and the food was amazing

Lovely hosts, good breakfast nice room. Only downside do not do meals Monday Evening, nearest pub for food mile and a half away.

What an amazing place, such friendly and welcoming staff, the food was amazing and very well priced, as a traveler who stays in lots of hotels each week I highly recommend the George. The young lady "Bar Manager" was also amazing making me feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble, the bed was so comfy and for once in a hotel I had a great nights sleep. I will be back!!

Stayed here for one night on our travels and so pleased we did. Hosts are very welcoming. The room was cottage style and quaint. The pub had a lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious, especially the plentiful breakfast. Situated in a very nice village surrounded by countryside views. We would definitely be happy to stay here again.

My son, nephew and I stayed on Saturday 19th August after a family wedding in the area. We arrived early and our hosts made sure that our rooms were ready early as we needed to change clothes for the wedding. They were very welcoming. The rooms were lovely and the beds extremely comfortable. The only criticism is a slightly wonky shower door. Breakfast was substantial and delicious. We would stay here again if travelling in the area and I would certainly recommend this small and delightful hotel.
