Hyatt House Atlanta Downtown

This Hotel is in a great Location. The front desk staff are meh. Not very friendly. The Breakfast is pitiful, sausage sitting in a pan full of grease, I know sausage is greasy, but I’ve never seen it served sitting in a pan full of greased. So not appetizing at all. The first day the French toast sticks were stuck together and half cooked. Fruit bowl never refilled. Charging $15 for that is insane!! I will say the Breakfast attendants are sweet and helpful. The parking is ridiculous, I have to pay $45 per day for an attendant to go park my car 50 feet away. That’s just taking advantage of people. I should be able to park my own car instead of being rushed out of my car trying to grab all my things, shopping bags, etc. Hallways are very loud throughout the night. Ghetto guests allowed to say the worst cuss words and talk any way they want to loudly in front of other guests and Children. I finally had to say something to this one girl. This is a family friendly Hotel as the Aquarium, Coke Museum, Centennial Park are all located within walking distance. Hotel staff shouldn’t let crap like this happen or continue. Good luck if you need towels, an extra blanket, or whatever, Housekeeping doesnt clean or replenish anything and that was on my third day. You have to call and ask for it, but the phone doesn’t work in the room and I had to use my cellphone to call the front desk. I had to go get it myself and the guy couldn’t get into the linen closet cause someone locked the door and they didn’t have a key. He had to go to an open room and get it from there, SMH. I paid over $200 a night to stay here and I’m very disappointed. Won’t be back. Will go stay at the overpriced, outdated, Westin instead and pay for an Uber to drive me and my family to where we got to go.

I stayed at the Hyatt House Atlanta Downtown for only one night with my family for a quick visit to the Georgia Aquarium. Parking options are limited to valet parking only per night for a service can be easily done by yourself because the car is parked right in the parking lot of the hotel. The room looked clean at first sight, but some important amenities were missing: shower gel (the bottle they put in the shower to dispense the gel was empty); no WIFI service, when I called front desk to ask for wifi information the agent told me their wifi was not working at the moment (it was never informed to me or displayed on their site); only 3 bath towels were provided for a room and a reservation of 4; no complimentary bottle of water provided in the room either.

We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was clean and our suite was very comfortable. Just be aware - you are staying downtown so the traffic noise outside can be a little loud.

Only on-site parking was Valet. $45 per night it was safe and lighted. The valet attendant was kind and helpful. Front desk staff was very polite and helpful. The building is old and the current status of renovation was old. The room was spacious with a nice view of the aquarium and Mercedes Benz Stadium, however, construction adjacent to the hotel was unkept and distracting from the rest of the view toward Olympic Park. Room service was limited and lacking basic needs for a family of four each night. Beds were not made. We will return to the city in this area but will choose differently based upon price.

There was no lock for the bathroom door, No tooth paste in the bathroom, and No drinking water in the room

This hotel was very nice and spacious but had to pay valet for parking because there was no free on-site parking

Upon arrival the first day parking was a nightmare! No carts were available to off load our luggage. After checking in and getting changed for dinner we went to valet to get the car. Valet took 30 minutes without coming back I finally asked what was the problem. They notified us that 3 cars were parked in front of us and it would be at least 15-20 more additional minutes of a wait. By this time the restaurant we were trying to get to was about to close. We never got the car, we ended up ordering food which was horrible! Asked for towel last and rags as the room had one rag when we checked in. Didn’t get them Thursday. Friday asked housekeeping personally to give us some when she made the bed. Got one towel. Spoke with from desk about the parking we were refunded for it. The hotel room itself was good. The property! Is a whole other conversation. Still enjoyed my time in Atlanta but doubt I would stay at the Hyatt again.

Started out spending 45 minutes in the center turn lane before we could even pull in for valet. Forget getting your car out without a long wait, as they pack the cars in so tightly they are unable to retrieve the cars in the back. Breakfast, which was included in booking, was non existent. They kept running out of everything and we're slow to refill. There wasn't even coffee, tea, hot water, or orange juice filled. No regular coffee packets in the room. Only three towels and kept promising to bring more, which they didn't...I had to to walk the floors until I found a cleaning cart. The elevators were slow and always a line, turns out the cleaning people were holding the rear doors open for their own use. Biggest complaint was the general lack of action to resolve issues and just general apathy by the entire staff. The valet were the only friendly staff.

I am giving them 3 starts just because when I came to the room the sheets were dirty. I called and let the front desk know. Once I came back to the room I notice that they left the sheets on the couch for me to change it myself. Everything else was good!
