It was fine. When I checked I was thanked for my premium BW status, but was not offered any water or other options as I have at other BWs. I provided my BW credit card and a gift card. I was refused the gift card. It wasn't even touched by the front desk and I was told ”you need to call corporate.” I stated that the amount just needed to be credited to my room and asked if anyone else could assist. Again I was told no they don't do anything with gift cards and to ”call corporate.” After I got home I did call BW and they referred me to local management who was able to apply the gift card to my card promptly. I appreciated their quick assistance and was told front desk staff would be retrained. We were told the hot tub was open but the pool didn't open until June. We did check out the hot tub which was indoors. To us, it didn't look clean, so we did not take a dip. Our room was fairly large and we enjoyed our 2nd floor balcony and sat outside and enjoyed our view of...the parking lot and some kids flying a drone. The room had ample counter space and the bathroom had more than enough towels and toiletries. The room itself was quiet, other than the smoke alarm chirped several times during the night. First the unit was flashing and then chirping. It eventually did stop around midnight (maybe the battery died?) When we reported it to the front desk in the morning (same person at check-in) we were asked 20 questions about it instead of just thanking us for reporting it or maybe writing it down. The breakfast had a sign that they offered gluten free/dairy free options. I didn't actually ask what they were but they had enough other options that I found eggs, sausage, fruit, coffee and almond milk so there were plenty of options. The breakfast attendant was nearby for assistance if needed. We did go to the restaurant on-site for a slice of cheesecake and it was good, even if the fruit on it was just some syrup and not fresh fruit. The staff was quite friendly there.
