"I can't believe it's 2025, and there are still such wonderful hostels in China: bookstores, music, drinks, courtyards, and incredibly cool owners... a cultural utopia in Luoping County, Qujing City, Yunnan Province. It's a haven of cleanliness, a great location, excellent amenities, and a remarkably quiet environment. I hope Luoping 97 Bookstore Hostel stays open for a hundred years! Right now, I'm at Guiyang Longdongbao Airport T3 Terminal, about to board a Xiamen Airlines flight back to Nanjing. Yunnan, Guizhou, and Sichuan are a hub of delicious food and a gathering place for all kinds of culinary experts. This isn't my first time here, and it won't be my last. By the way, the hostel owner told me about the Time YHA Hostel in Yongyuan Alley next to the Presidential Palace in Nanjing. That's where my stays at China International Youth Hostels began, the place where a beautiful dream started...
