This is my first time traveling to Jiulong Waterfall. I was lucky enough to book the Shanshuijian Inn for this trip. It really felt like home. The owner and his family were very simple, sincere, and hospitable. They also helped plan the travel route. The inn is very close to the scenic spot. We have luggage with us and the owner will provide free pick-up and drop-off. The rooms in the inn are warmly decorated, clean and tidy, fully equipped, with neat bedding, separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, brand new facilities without odor, high-quality toiletries, and compressed towels in the room, which is very thoughtful. There is a beautiful view outside the window. The food cooked by the boss is also very delicious. The vegetables are all picked from the fields and are very fresh. The boss’s homemade bacon and sausage are also very unique and delicious! I will definitely choose here next time.

I wanted to see the sea, but I ended up seeing a sea of ​​flowers. I was lucky enough to add the owner on WeChat at the Kunming book market last year. Looking at his WeChat Moments, I felt this was a cool and unique hostel, and the books he selected were also very distinctive. I'd been wanting to visit for a while, and on a whim, I came without prior notice. The first floor is a bookstore, the second floor is guest rooms, and the back is the hostel. Because I was traveling with family, we booked two rooms. The double rooms were very spacious and great value; my family loved them. Meeting the owner in person, he was very easygoing and friendly. In this small county town, he regularly eats at one or two delicious little shops and buys the most unpretentious chicken cakes. Wandering, freedom, music, unrestrained laughter—he finds harmony with the world in his own way. He said he was born in 1897, and the name of the shop is a number he likes, without any special meaning; he hopes the bookstore will grow freely and exist until the end of the universe. Such freedom and open-mindedness are truly enviable. His ”goodnight” to the guests warmed my heart. It's been a long time since I've traveled or written a review, and this has inadvertently turned into a jumbled mess. This time, time was too short to fully experience the excitement of '97. I'll need to keep an eye on my boss's WeChat Moments more often, and hopefully I'll have the chance to attend a music festival organized by Boca Juniors sometime.

The location of the hotel is very good, 5 minutes walk to the train station, opposite the passenger station, it is very convenient to travel. The boss also drove the guests to the major scenic spots in Luoping, and only charged a fee more affordable than the average chartered car. grateful.

The room facilities are new, similar to the quality of a fast hotel. Clean and odorless. The air conditioning and heating are sufficient and quiet. The shower head in the bathroom has enough water. The rice noodles and porridge for breakfast taste good. The homestay is close to the rapeseed flower scenic area, and you can also see the flower fields on one side from the window. Before booking, I was a little hesitant because I saw some reviews (reviews in early 2023) pointing out that there were some flaws in the homestay. I specifically called the homestay to ask if those problems had been solved. The person in charge who answered the phone told me with certainty that those problems were no longer there and I could book with confidence, and explained in detail the causes of the problems and the measures to solve them. It is a reliable store!

The room is clean and tidy, and the boss and his wife treat the guests warmly and thoughtfully. Since there is no elevator, the boss personally helped us move our luggage to the third floor. When traveling, you will feel very comfortable when you encounter such a hotel. Friends who come to Luoping must recommend this hotel. The most important thing is that it is economical and convenient.

The location is not in the city center. It is not convenient to eat, the hotel has no restaurant, and breakfast is not provided. When booking a room, the picture seems to be facing the rapeseed field, but actually looking far away, there are building materials decoration wholesale factories nearby. The room is large and the bedding is comfortable. The overall feeling is not high cost performance.

This stay was a very pleasant experience. The service was attentive and thoughtful, the rooms were spacious and bright, the facilities were complete, and the price was very reasonable. There was a yard in the back where you could park, which could probably fit five or six cars. There was a breakfast shop on the first floor of the guesthouse, and the roasted milk was also very delicious. I stayed another night.

It may be the reason for the off-season. The price is very high. I thought the room would be small, but the actual stay was still very large. There was a place to drink tea on tatami mats. The room was very quiet. The front desk service is also good.
