Everything is fabulous with this establishment! The rooms are clean, beautiful, well maintained and comfortable. The location is great with a fantastic view of its surroundings. Spa and massage was top notch. The restaurant is also very, very good and serves delicious food. And the best for last: The Staff! Couldn’t be better. Warm, friendly, caring and forthcoming! Arranged everything fast and efficient. Even invited me to the kitchen to learn how to do their signature sambal directly from the chef. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Wonderful, idyllic location. We stayed at the Tejas Villa. It's beautifully decorated, thoughtfully planned out. Yoga mats are provided. There's a swinging daybed beside the private pool with the jacuzzi jets which we found very relaxing. The service is impeccable. Thank you Eka, Ade, Dicky and Ranna for making our stay so memorable. We received butler service throughout our stay. You were attentive and considerate. Nana was helpful in planning our stay. We chose the all inclusive package since this is our first time in Ubud. The tours were comfortable despite the humidity and heat. We were served with snacks, cold beverages and cold towels. Fluffy towels and plastic bags were packed for us when we visited the waterfalls. The trip to Jitiluwih Rice Terrace was informative and enjoyable. Ranna, our driver, is a gem. A local guide, Rai, took us on the tour when we arrive at the rice terraces. He was knowledgeable about the local plants and their medicinal values We spent one night there due to our schedule but wished we had stayed longer.

It was very very good that we choose this little hotel for our Ubud stay. It is a little bit away from the town, but anyhow you need a short drive from everywhere. This is a new place with 3 little villas (earth wind and fire😀) and 3 rooms in the front. It has a wonderful “living room” where you can stay or eat or just relax. In front of you there is the pool and the scenery, which at my first site I had to cry! It is amazingly beautiful! We booked a villa but when we arrived we wished to have the big front room, which we got and we did not have to pay more. Just one step from the nice pool, just one step from the tables where we had good breakfasts and dinners. We were treated with the biggest kindness and readyness and like valued family members. It is expensive but worth the money, because you will remember with joy and warm hearth for it long.

We have spent 2 nights at Vyoman room. Great view, very relaxing place just few minutes by car to Ubud center. Room is very spacious with nice bathroom and great view from the shower. The bed is very comfortable. All the resort is elegant, great attention to the details, very clean both the common area and the bedroom. Massage at the spa is very well done, we did it twice during our stay. We had dinner both evening, the menu is limited but everything was very good and tasty, thanks to chef Putu. On the second evening we have asked a Balinese dish not in the menu but they have prepared it for us, great service. Special thanks to Agung, Eka and Derga. They went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We will come back for sure.

We only spent two nights at Uma Kalai but the impression it made on us felt far beyond that. The surroundings and hotel garden was stunning, beautiful villas with top of the line equipment and sparkling clean. Wonderful pool area with an amazing view and a restaurant that felt like a living room. The gym was small but very well-equipped, air conditioned and very clean. However, all of this was great, but what really struck us was how extremely well the hotel staff treated us from the very beginning until checkout. Genuinely friendly and helpful, but never too much or in our space. We would especially want to mention one out of the staff members called Dicky who felt like a good friend and was the best at his job out of all the hotel personnel in have ever met. Thank you, Uma Kalai - and especially thank you Dicky!

My husband and I have just returned from a week at Uma Kalai and I genuinely can't think of enough positive adjectives to describe the accommodation, the food, or the incredible team. From the moment we arrived we were cocooned in an oasis of calm, and were able to fully relax knowing that we were in extremely capable hands. A WhatsApp group was set up so that we could communicate directly with the team at any time, and communication both before and during our stay was easy. We stayed in the Bhumi (earth) Villa which has a separate living area as well as it's own pool/spa and steam room. There is plenty of storage space, the bed is extremely comfortable and the ensuite is huge! One important note: Their bottled water was perfectly safe to drink :-) There is no photoshop involved in the website images ... the location really is that beautiful. The service is immaculate and the whole team is cheerful, friendly and accommodating. Special shout out to Eka & Nana (for their extraordinary coordination skills), Dedi & Rana (for their exceptional skills at navigating traffic and knowing all the shortcuts), Dicky and Ade (for their first class service of absolutely everything), Gusti & Tu De (for their superlative culinary skills in both both Western and local dishes), and Nonik and Yuni (the angels in the spa who seem to make time stand still in the absolute best way possible). The housekeeping team and groundskeepers and everyone else not specifically mentioned here all work incredibly hard to maintain the location - it really is paradise. We will definitely be back!

A gem of a find! Uma Kalai is in the most stunning location, and the view from our villa was just breathtakingly beautiful. We had fantastic stay and the staff were just fabulous. The service is outstanding and we will definitely be going back. Thank you so much to Eka, Gusti and Dicki and all the staff - we had the most incredible time!

Uma Kalai was the perfect place to stay over Christmas with the family. Not only were the villas and hotel itself stunning and filled with beautiful details that felt so personal and well thought out, but the staff and service was amazing. From the time I first heard about Uma Kalai I knew it was a must stay for our honeymoon and for a whole year eagerly anticipated our arrival. Yet even with my high expectations the experience surpassed everything we could imagine. The estate is immaculate with beautiful design and attention to detail. The lounge is gorgeous yet intimate with many books and games available. The main pool overlooks beautiful rice paddies. All the staff work so hard to provide the most incredible service. They ensure a smooth arrival prior to check in via WhatsApp, they are eager to provide recommendations and most importantly they make you feel right at home. I loved how the small size of Uma kalai allowed for such a personalized experience and really felt like I was returning home after each day. Thank you to all the staff who work tirelessly to provide an exceptional experience and especially to Dicky, Eka and Gusti who made our honeymoon so special! All the best, Yona and Ezra
