Ubud Raya Villa Bali

Overall does not worth the price and need a lot of improvements. Positives: -Private pool -Size of the garden and room -Peaceful environment Negatives: -Cleanliness is not great, especially the bath tub -Breakfast is incredibly poor for the price, and they asked additional fees for a floating breakfast as the included breakfast is only at the restaurant. -No phone in the room, need to communicate through WhatsApp which is not a problem but replies are sometimes late. -They did not serve to the room when we need something. In our case we asked for water but they required us to walk to the reception at night and our room was one of the farthest one. -Location was ok for us as we have motorbike, but can be a problem if traveling without a car/motorbike. -Pool was small. It’s not for swimming but for freshening up

Villa was not available and we were moved to another place. The owner was very helpful but at the new place, we were not able to get support and access to equipment to have dinner at the villa and the communication with the hotel did not work. Bad service but beautiful place and surroundings. We also had 2 bottles of champagne for new years disappear and did not hear back from the staff after we left about the issue even though they promised to get back to us.

The super power here are the staff. Shout out to Tari at front of house and all of the staff here. They are phenomenal, attentive, and on point. They deserve all the praise. Big fan of the system is using WhatsApp as a concierge app for everything you need/ Makes things really easy. Everything is clean, and sort of “good enough”. There is a definitely a lack of attention to detail and the villa itself (we were in Svadhisthana) could use some updating. Things are worn, a little shoddy around the edges and uninspired. In the end - the staff is what elevates this place.

We are stay two days, that’s very good villa, swim pool is very good , breakfast, lunch, dinner is very tasty, I’ll suggest you all of people please come to this villa for stay , my experience is very good in this villa

I had a wonderful experience ! Keep in mind that not every traveler have the same preference. But for me, I loved it. I wanted to see the culture the heritage of Bali, therefore I chose UBUD. This hotel is slightly outside of the "where everything is" of UBUD. At first I was concerned that I am missing out. However after having spent time in the heart of UBUD, I feel that I made the right choice being a little bit outside. I was easily able to flag GRAB motorcycle to and from the hotel. The price of the ride is extremely good. About 75 cents USD going into town and about $1.25 USD coming back. The experience of being in the back of the motorcycle going through the tree covered windy roads got it with restaurants and other small hotels makes the journey very enjoyable. The hotel looks beautiful. I love the swimming pool. And the hotel is extremely peaceful. Just hanging around by the pool is extremely relaxing. The rooms are very big. Very well appointed. Of course it has a little bit of the local flavor to all the setups. It has a small little dining area. However the actual restaurant menu and food I believe, it's being delivered, from its sister hotel kilometer or so away. You can also go and eat at the restaurant at the sister hotel about a kilometer away I had a great experience there too. So, in other words, there really isn't a on-site restaurant per se but you can order room service. And they will deliver breakfast to you to your room or to your rooms outside patio table for you to enjoy If there is any negative that I can say about it, it's the bathroom. The bathroom drainage system cause it to have a pretty bad smell constantly. I just had the bathroom door closed at all times. That's the only downside. One of the best thing about the hotel is the staff. I arrived way too early, like 9:00 a.m. person at the reception desk, WanWan, went out of his way to accommodate. At first I had a second floor balcony room and I requested for the possibility of being on the first floor by the pool, which I believe normally would cost more money. He did his best to accommodate. And he was kind enough to drive me to the sister restaurant to have a nice breakfast there. And throughout my stay both him and all the other steps were extremely attentive and responsive and friendly. If you are at someone who likes a more away from the tourist trap place, something that's small and quiet, this hotel is it. Keep in mind this hotel is not in the tourist area and is not near any major tourist attractions. It would be good only if you like some piece and quiet, and you do not mind, and even enjoy, taking a motorcycle ride into town and back. It was made possible by the staff, and also made possible by the extremely quick and inexpensive GRAB motorcycle.

If you want to feel like a part of Bali and not a tourist - this is the place. Rooms are a great size actually the whole villa was. You will hear the sounds of the animals which will freak you out the first night but after that everything was ok.
