Booked a riverside suite and it was fabulous The view was amazing you just sit and watch the day go by Also used the spa - back massage by Natasha was excellent Freshly cooked breakfast daily also good - all staff were really friendly throughout the hotel

Gorgeous hotel stay, the Riverside suite was fabulous, the room had everything you need. We had seaweed baths and used the thermal suite which was a lovely relaxing experience. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Food and cocktails were excellent, highly recommend the Ice House to friends and family.

Stunning hotel, would highly recommend. My fiancé booked a Riverview Suite for my birthday and it was fabulous. We had dinner in the restaurant that evening and the food was delicious, service was excellent and lovely ambiance. Breakfast was just as good the next morning. The highlight was the thermal suite, outdoor hot tubs looking out on to the river and the relaxation room with heated wooden loungers was just divine. Definitely one of my favourite stays and will be back.

Couldn't fault a thing , was the most relaxing place I've ever stayed , the room was amazing the view was the best ever , spa was second to none ,outdoor hot tub In the snow, wow! Food was excellent staff excellent, can't wait for my next visit 100% recommend

Honestly a stunning hotel & spa. I had one of the best massages of my life & the staff were all so lovely (especially Jessica who works in the restaurant) The suite was absolutely gorgeous and the views are 10/10. The only downfall was the restaurant food. The steak was really tough even though I asked for medium rare and the calamari undercooked. All the flavours there but just not on the level of the rest of the hotel. The bar food was actually much nicer than the restaurant food (and cheaper- I’d recommend the bruschetta and the chowder) It’s so so so relaxing here. We have stayed in many places in Ireland and this is definately one of the top places.

My husband & I had a lovely experience today, 19th March in the restaurant at the Ice House. Lovely food, ambience & great service. We also met a lovely lady who showed us around the Spa area. We did not get her name but she lives in Bunny!! We will be back! Thank you & well done!

Good bar staff, way overpriced and overrated in general, leaks into room, poor management, poor drink etc overpriced, ballina manor is much better value for money and a nicer hotel. Not a 4 or 5 star hotel by any means, it is dirty and overrated

From the moment you walk in to the ice house Hotel you are made to feel welcome. A huge thank you to Mathew & Damien front of desk for a very professional service, couldn't be more helpful. Room to a very high standard in the old part of the hotel. Beds very comfortable. Food delicious both in the bar and at breakfast. Rowan & Jessica were very attentive to our table again such lovely staff. Views beautiful very relaxing atmosphere. Location is great. Great way to see Ballina. We definitely be back again.

Just back from a 3 night stay, everything was amazing from the lovely room & views, the food, the nicest cocktails and friendly service. Little things like the lovely homemade biscuits topped up in the room every day was lovely touch! Deirdre on reception was so welcoming & friendly & gave us lots of tips for the area. Spa treatments & thermal suites were amazing we got a seaweed bath & a signature treatment. So relaxing will definitely return!

Location Location Location an amazing hotel on the River Moy. Huge windows make you feel you are on a boat. Loved my stay here staff extremely friendly and food fantastic. A big shout out to the Spa staff especially Sophie who gave me the best facial and massage I have ever received. Highly recommended.

Every request was met with a smile, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our entire stay. And let's talk about the food - simply divine! From breakfast to dinner, every bite was a flavorful journey that left me craving more. The restaurant's ambiance added to the dining experience, with stunning views of the river providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. As for the accommodations, we stayed in the luxurious Nugget suite which overlooked the river - it was a dream come true. The room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and impeccably clean. Waking up to the serene view of the river was truly magical! Overall, our experience at the Ice House Hotel exceeded all expectations. From the accommodating staff to the amazing service and divine food, every aspect of my stay was absolutely top-notch. I can't wait to return and create more unforgettable memories at this hidden gem by the river. Five stars all the way!

Stunning location on the River Moy. Excellent attentive pleasant staff. Loved my room called Saffron, with little balcony. Nice sea food chowder at lunch time. Delicious cocktails. Purfectly cooked breakfast.The spa is amazing. And the sun shined all day in January.

We stayed two nights in the Amber room with a lovely view across the river. We found the rooms were not very sound proof, hearing the Tv from the room beside us and the lift. The bar was hard to find as it is at the back of the restaurant and not very big but the cocktails were lovely. A nice bar menu too but not a place to sit and relax for long. We had treatments booked on our second day and the hot stone massage was the best I ever had! The spa is a must if you are staying. It would be a shame to miss out on the opportunity to enjoy all it offers. Plenty of areas for relaxing before and after your treatment. They even served us sorbet and tea in the snooze room. The restaurant is beautiful. High ceilings, perfect lighting and lovely artwork. A real treat. This hotel is perfect place if you want to treat yourself to some pamper time but the surroundings and atmosphere are not as serene as its sister hotel The Wineport lodge.

We stayed for one night but we were impressed by the service from the second we go there until we left. Check in was fast and easy! Friendly and welcoming smiles from all staff. Our room was the Bronze room which was very spacious, big balcony over looking the river ( we even saw seals!) I loved the heated flooring in the bathroom it is a very good touch. We had booked the thermal suite before our dinner and it was incredible. Spa was relaxing and our dinner down to our dessert was just perfect. The only bad thing was that we wished we could stay another night!
