I have recently stayed at Capital O 5683 Suites - Bengaluru, for 3 days (May 28 - May 31). The experience was quite depressing to say the least. To start off, the reception desk staff allocated a room despite knowing that it was unhygienic and unclean. My family members suffered from bed bugs, which is a serious health risk, considering that everyone is expected to improve on these standards in the post-pandemic world. Multiple requests by my family members to change the room were met with nonchalant and casual responses, which created a very bad impression again. Secondly, the online booking portal offered free breakfast, which was initially denied by the same hotel staff. Even after confirmation from the hotel ***ager, the reception staff desperately attempted to bill additional charges for breakfast during our checkout on 31st May. I wondered whether I was literally granted basic amenities at a value-added fee. Finally, the air-conditioning in the room was non-functional. The hotel staff knew it, and allocated that room to me, even though I had made bookings for AC rooms. There was no attempt at all, to make alternative provisions for cooling, or the option of allocating a different AC room. All these have left me and my family members with a disgusting experience at Capital O 5683 SS Suites - Bengaluru. I am a very frequent visitor of the places nearby, and hence will actively discourage anyone in my network to refrain from making reservations with them.
