Malang City Hotels with Bars

I booked Hotel Tugu Malang for my friends as a surprise honeymoon gift, and they absolutely loved it! From the moment they arrived, they were impressed by the beautiful setting and warm hospitality. The hotel exceeded their expectations with its luxurious ambiance, exceptional service, and stunning design. They mentioned how comfortable and relaxing their stay has been, making it the perfect place to unwind after their wedding. The bathroom is a bit less clean, there is no water heater or it doesn't work, it's a bit dusty on the window glass and curtains, and there are some belongings of previous guests left in the cupboard locker, the room is not soundproof, the sound from outside is very loud, it's a bit disturbing, the elevator often queues together with the cafe staff in the rooftop area or maybe there is an event there at the same time so access is busy. Moreover, some of the accommodation staff and cafe staff on the rooftop floor often go back and forth in the elevator area. But overall it's quite comfortable, complete facilities, and easy access to the location, near the mall area.

Fo average is good...there is a little problem but it can be tolerance...thanks for the service...we are having fun

The hotel itself is in the city centre and within a mall which is convenient but it can get very crowded (and jammed) on weekends. The staff are polite and understanding. We had to pay 100k IDR deposit for our rooms but since we were carrying sleeping kids, they let us check into the rooms first. Room is clean but old and basic. The room does not have safe deposit box, unmovable shower head. Basic amenities are dental kit, sanitary bag, shower cap, and lotion. Shampoo and shower gel are 2-in-1 and stuck on the wall. There’s only bath towel (no hand towel). Sound-proofing can be improved since the corridor is not carpeted. Breakfast is free for kids 5 and below. Taste-wise it’s ok. Apart from egg station, salad, waffles and bakery section, the rest are very much Indonesian style.

Ideal for a short stay in the centre of Malang. Easy parking and within walking distance of several nice restaurants. Clean room with aircon and wifi, good value for money. The breakfast included may be chicken with rice, you can make your own tea and coffee at any time.

The rooms are spacious and clean, the receptionist responds quickly, the food is delicious, I will definitely come here again if I go to Malang

The facilities can only be described as ordinary, equivalent to domestic B&Bs. The soundproofing of the room at night is not very good. You can hear people chatting next door in the middle of the night. However, relatively speaking, Malang is just a stopover and you can stay for one night.
