Kampot Hotels with Bars

The stay at the Old Cinema Hotel in Kampot was absolutely unique. This place has an amazing climate combination of the history of the old cinema with modern comfort creates an atmosphere I have never met in any other hotel. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and refurbished in every detail. The service deserves a huge distinction smiley, helpful and always ready to advise what to see in the area. Breakfasts are fresh and really tasty, and the whole facility is perfectly clean and careful. Location is also great: calmly, but only a few minutes walk from the center of Kampot, restaurant and nightlife. It's a hotel with a soul in which you feel like home right away.

Very good hostel, everything is clean and nice. The pool and bar area are so nice and beautiful. The staff is the best part of it, they are so kind and friendly, i will come again.

We, three adults and two teenagers, stayed at the hotel for four nights. The welcome was warm, and the property is spacious and beautifully landscaped. The staff spoke relatively good English, so we never had any communication problems. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, though a bit noisy, so our earplugs came in handy. For breakfast, there's a larger Asian selection, freshly prepared eggs, and a small continental choice. The à la carte food at the restaurant was also good. However, the hotel is almost 15 minutes outside of Phnom Penh (by tuk-tuk), which means you can't just pop into the city easily.

We have been staying here for 5 days and everything has been amazing. The food and desserts are absolutely delicious, the nature around is beautiful, and the place is very clean. The staff are warm, friendly, and always helpful. There are fun activities like billiards and table tennis, which make the stay even more enjoyable. The people here are very kind and welcoming, you really feel at home. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality. Great hostel for the budget. The place is nice, clean, and well maintained. The location is very convenient, close to the city center and right next to the bus station, which made traveling easy. The swimming pool was also very clean and nice to relax in. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling, which made the stay more comfortable. The only thing I think could be improved is the bathroom amenities. It would be better if they provided shower gel and shampoo, as I have received those in other hostels within the same budget range. Overall, a very good stay and I would recommend it.

Best Hotel in Kampot Don’t stay in room 2 it’s under the bar and the bass beats start at 7am and go to the wee hours Food is good staff is friendly expats are over the top rude and I even heard a guy yell “the south will rise again” so ya, we know why he’s out here But you won’t find a more central location, cooler rooms (neat little balconies) or a better DVD collection, anywhere in South East Asia Happy hour rules here Don’t make a mistake and stay somewhere else

Really a great little hotel: 1. Reply in time to help arrange pick-up and drop-off 2. I cut two fresh iced coconuts when I checked in. The coconut water instantly made people feel happy. The local characteristics of breakfast are really delicious 4. The location is also great, the door is full of night market snacks at night

A fantastic, relaxing spot right by the river. Our room was wonderfully large and spacious, featuring an inviting bathtub. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough hot water to fully enjoy a soak, which was a bit disappointing. Despite that minor hiccup, it was overall a memorable and pleasant stay.

I was really happy with this place. Great value for such a big clean and quiet room only minutes walk fron the milddle of town, and with more pleasant views than other places I’ve stayed in Kampot. No fridge, no safe, and the internet upstairs wasn’t working BUT no complaints either with the friendly staff, kind manager, and the quietness. I passed my originally scheduled hotel on this trip too and was glad I didn’t stay there because the noise fron the street was astonishing as some loud event (wedding with live band and DJs) made it hard to even hear a tuk tuk engine.

Beautiful location on the river. Loved the greenery, the pool, the gardens, the peace and quiet. Very cooperative staff. Value for money. Will visit if I’m there next time.
