We had the best stay. The hotel is in a great location it took us less than 5 minutes walk from the airport bus drop off. La Ramblas is a short walk away and around the hotel are lots of bars and shops. Recommend Lucciano’s ice cream and el nacional for drinks/ food. The room was perfect and clean good size and nice bathroom. Everyday we had a breakfast bag left with a muffin and juice and free coffee. A welcome treat. The staff were all lovely. We would definitely stay again and would recommend

I LIKED THE SAFETY ASPECTS OF THE PROPERTY, THE LOCATION IS CENTRIC AN LET YOU MOVE JUST A FEW BLOCKS TO MANY RESTAURANTS AN THE LOCAL TRANSPORTATION.

Not recommended for solo traveller, shower is too small, even for petite person, not comfortable. View from window is opposite another wall, no view at all.
Entrance in hotel building looks terrible, like in a horrible movie.

This was a great spot to stay right in the center of Barcelona! The room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable, nice shower, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Can't ask for more! We stayed here for one night but would have been happy to stay here a couple more nights. Recommend for an affordable stay in the center of Barcelona.

Truly enjoyed the friendly and professional staff. They were so helpful. The bathroom was really clean and the building was in a great location. Would easily recommend to solo travelers who want their own bathroom.

I don't understand the star system for hotels. Hostal Goya was considered a 2 star hotel, but in my opinion it should have been much higher. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. A bonus was that each day we got a muffin and a juice box! Not enough for breakfast but definitely something to take a long on our days out exploring Barcelona. Highly recommend staying at Hostal Goya!

Small but pleasant hotel, very conveniently located near the Plaça de Catalunya. Clean, with friendly staff.
Separate, private, bathrooms and no breakfast available, but there is a lounge with tea and coffee facilities, a refrigerator and micro wave oven. In the morning each guest receives a muffin and a fruit juice, bakeries are nearby.
