"The food at the restaurant and breakfast buffet was very good. The restaurant staff was very attentive! However, the front desk staff was not so helpful or attentive. The hotel and rooms were very musty and had strange plastic bathrooms with odd-smelling (old?) soap. The air conditioner seemed to be on a timer that would shut off after a half hour. Skip this place; it's worth paying a little more to stay at the Panafrica."

"The hotel is clearly showing its age. The room furnishings were somewhat scratched, and the floor was stained, though otherwise fairly clean. However, for the price charged, the room facilities are not justified. What particularly irritated me was the fact that the receptionist was unable to order an airport taxi for the following morning. I have never experienced a large hotel being unable to arrange a taxi and instead expecting guests to stand on the street with their luggage and try to wave down taxis that may or may not pass by."
