GGuest UserThis hotel is perfectly located on a block away from the main *****. You can hear the music carry over from nearby bars but that didn’t bother me, it’s expected in a location like this. Upon checking in they give you a tv remote and tell you not to move the thermostat. The AC was fixed to run all night and did not have an automatic feature, so it made for extremely cold nights. The reason I lowered the rating is the customer service. You are given only two towels and there was no hand towels at all. I tried calling the front desk but nobody answered the 6 times I called. I had to go down and grab one myself where I was asked to sign one out. No big deal. However, the following day housekeeping took this towel and never replaced it. I hope I don’t get charged for a small hand towel

LLihuiI stayed here for 3 nights in June. The sea was full of weeds, probably because of the rainy season, so I couldn't go in, but there weren't too many people and I was able to relax by the pool. It's also close to Quinta Avenida, so you can enjoy a stroll around the town in between your hotel life. There are buffets, 3 dinner restaurants, a cafe and a pool bar, and activities such as morning yoga and shows, so I had a lot to enjoy. I booked an ocean view room, but I could barely see the sea, so if you want to see the sea from your room, it might be better to book a seafront room.

GGuest UserWe stayed at the Viva Azteca Hotel for 7 days to celebrate our wedding anniversary. When we entered our room, the small gestures made for our anniversary made us very happy. All the staff members are smiling and doing their best to ensure you have a relaxing holiday. The resort has a perfect beach. However, the sea was very wavy and covered with sea plants. The food and evening shows were very good. There are plenty of places to visit around the hotel. It is also within walking distance to the 5th Avenue in the center. As a result, we had a wonderful holiday. Thank you Viva Azteca, you brought color to our lives.

OOhLocation is good. It is close to 5th avenue and beach. I loved the resort and nature. It was lovely and cozy. But there were ants in bathroom and straw fell down because of palapa. There's no refrigerator in the room. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner. All of staffs are kind and friendly. Espacially Rogelio was really kind and pleasant.

AAnonymous UserUnfortunately, the stay was disappointing because the room category I had booked and which was more expensive was not available when I checked in. The room I was assigned afterwards was so loud that I asked to be changed because it was impossible to sleep. The staff claimed that the hotel was fully booked, but rooms were available to book on various booking platforms! Strange.

WWondooPersonally, the music sound from the bar did not inturrupt us because we are used to those noise. But if you need a quiet place to sleep, then the hotel would be the bad choice. They did not have a hair dryer so we should’ve dry hair with A/C🤣 There were some bugs like ants and mosquitos which freaked my partner. But “I” was satisfied about the hotel’s cleanness and in/exterior because it looked quite good. If you like bar, there is a good bar in front of the hotel and also a taco place. Overall, the experience in the hotel was quite good for me and the location was also so good because it’s so close(one block) from the 5th ave.

GGuest UserIt is located in the most central location in the Praya del Carmen area. The beach is close, the bus is close, and the supermarket is close. If you are planning to travel to this area. There is no reason not to choose this hostel. step. I like to read books quietly. This hotel is not suitable for people with insomnia. The hotel is beautiful. The inner rooms are relatively quiet.

GGeidWould recommend it worth the price. Very central location, close to the main road and beach. The room was very spacious and clean. There was an issue with the water pressure at the beginning, but they sorted out in a couple of hours. The rooftop terrace is nice, the pool is not that big, and it was a bit dirty. Breakfast included is only one choice out of 4 dishes but tasty.

The location is perfect, and the pool is very pleasant, neither too cold nor too hot. Perfect for the weather. I will use this hotel again if I return to Playa Del Carmen. GGuest UserThe service was nothing short of brilliant! Friendly staff (thank you Sofia and Marisol). Slight issue with the water in our shower in room 201, so we were immediately offered to move to another room 305 with was smaller but sunnier and much better shower . The Housekeeping was wonderful too. The rooms were clean and lovely. Fantastic location. The only thing to keep in mind is that there’s a bar with a live band that plays late into the night, so if you like your peaceful sleep before 2:30 or 3 am then this hotel is not for you! There can also be noise from passers by and street performers. Otherwise, perfect central location on the 5th Avn. near to the player Mamita next to many 4/5 stars hotels. It’s lovely place to stay. Oh also, there is a rooftop little pool with jacuzzi and its perfect for quiet sunbathing too if you don’t like sand
