DDani_19We abbsolutely loved staying here. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The resort has it’s own private beach which is great! We also enjoyed the food here. They have pretty diverse food options for breakfast and excellent service!

GGuest UserIt takes about an hour to get to Phi Phi Island from Phuket Royal Marina by the hotel's speedboat. The hotel front desk staff doesn't speak any Chinese, so you'll need to communicate entirely in English. You can book your return transportation when you check in. The hotel environment is very nice, the staff are all very polite, and the rooms are clean. The only downside is the excessive number of mosquitoes! Be sure to bring your own mosquito repellent! Also, bring some mosquito patches, as there are many mosquitoes outdoors too! The hotel has a Western restaurant, a buffet restaurant, a Thai restaurant, etc. The food quality is generally mediocre, and the prices are not cheap. The Thai restaurant is halfway up the hill, requires reservations, and it's dark with lots of mosquitoes, so I don't recommend going there. For the return trip, I'm not sure why we shared a boat with guests from three other hotels along the way. There were a lot of people and luggage, and it was very crowded. My boyfriend and I sat together, and some white ”mean girls” commented that we were selfish and didn't understand why we didn't sit separately to maintain balance... but no other couples on the boat were sitting separately. Since we were the only two Chinese people, it's hard not to suspect discrimination.

GGuest UserThe room was quite old and looked a bit spooky. However, the view was absolutely stunning; four out of five stars for the balcony view, and four stars for the service from the Chinese-speaking gentleman at the restaurant and the staff who arranged the boats (because the front desk lady doesn't deserve full marks). The front desk lady was very unfriendly. I had initially booked a room, but then my parents decided to join the trip. Since the hotel was fully booked, I had to book a room at the hotel next door. Also, the hotel next door didn't charge extra for children, so my child stayed with my parents there. When the front desk lady found out, she very sternly told me that if a third person was found in our room, we would be fined double, to which I replied 'okay'. Later, when my husband arrived, she sternly reiterated the same warning to him and insisted on charging for my father's boat transfer (the boat from the neighboring hotel left earlier, so I took their boat first to check in for both hotels, while my husband and father took this hotel's boat). However, there was a Chinese-speaking gentleman in the restaurant whose attitude was excellent, and I'm very grateful for his help (we went snorkeling and got swept away by the current; this gentleman and the staff who arranged the boats were very friendly, promptly arranged for rescue, and comforted my father. Many thanks to them).

AAndy Black12349A large room with a spacious bathroom, cold air conditioning, and a strong hot water shower. A kettle, coffee, and complimentary water were also provided. The hotel has a pool, although I didn’t have time to use it. The location is right in the centre of Tonsai, making it convenient for everything while still being quiet enough in the evenings. The only downside was that the internet wasn’t working during this visit, which was disappointing.

GGuest UserFacilities: The garden villa room is spacious enough, with extra beds available in both the living room and bedroom, which was very convenient for our family of two adults and two children. The large balcony dried clothes quickly. However, the room was a bit old, the air conditioner was noisy, and the bathroom door creaked loudly every time it opened or closed. Service: We requested a room close to the snorkeling area in our booking, and they gave us a spot right in the middle of it, which was great. Upon arrival, we received welcome juice and a detailed resort explanation presented kneeling, a very nice touch. Food was delivered to the room, and overall, the service attitude was excellent. Environment: The resort has abundant vegetation and is quite expansive, making you feel like you're staying in a forest. However, there were a lot of mosquitoes; after lying by the pool for a short while, I ended up with seven bites on my back. Every morning around 5 or 6 am, you can hear monkeys, various large birds, and boats, making it difficult to sleep in. Hygiene: The room was cleaned very well. Aside from that: On our first day, we went out to a restaurant recommended by reviews, and our whole family ended up with food poisoning, spending two days recuperating at the hotel. Before leaving the island, I felt a bit disappointed and decided to check out the underwater situation. Luckily, I spotted Nemo! Nemo's location: From the restaurant, walk along the beach to the first beachfront room with a pool. Enter the water and look about 1 meter outside the right side of the floating buoy area, as circled in the picture. The anemone isn't very big, only about 20 centimeters, so you'll need to look carefully.

GGuest UserOur stay at The Cove was great! It’s a short boat ride to the mainland where there’s lots of shops and restaurants- the hotel offers a boat taxi service at certain times of the day for a small price. The restaurant at the hotel was great with lots of options to choose from and really friendly staff. Our room was a super cute hut up the hill that included a mosquito net over the bed and hot water which was handy. The Cove has its own beach which was picturesque and had places to sit. It also has its own shop! Overall our stay at The Cove was great and we would stay here again!

GGuest UserGreat location if you’re looking for peace and quiet away from the crowds. If you miss the hustle and bustle or want to visit the clubs, you can take a private taxi boat to Tonsai for about 1,000 THB one way. We stayed in the Ocean Sunset Room. Just a heads-up: it’s located on a hill, about a 10-minute walk from the beach. Hotel has free buggy shuttle between 6:00-22:00. However, it's the perfect spot for sunset lovers since you can't actually see the sunset from the beach itself. Great value for couples! The private pool offers total privacy (perfect for swimming naked! :) )and an amazing view of the sun going down. The room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony, but it felt a bit dated. The main issue was the water pressure in the shower - it was extremely low, which was disappointing considering the price. Breakfast was okay, pretty standard. If you’re looking for a great meal nearby, check out a local restaurant called 'Banyan' -delicious food, fair prices, and excellent service.

GGuest UserThis was a wonderful place to stay. Amazing views and friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet (if you get the choice, it's worth signing up for it). Cats roaming the property and island; great if you're a cat lover like me- if not, no worries, they pretty much leave you alone unless you seek their attention. The only drawback I have is that no matter how many people stay in the room, you get only one key. This is because the key is inserted into a ”socket: that powers the air and lights. Conservation is important for resources on the island. They will, however, let your other roomies in any time, day or night, by stopping by the front desk. If you're not used to it, be aware that Thai beds in general are very firm. Not much padding.

TTavivI chose this hotel after walking past it earlier and seeing the pool from the outside. It looked nice enough to convince me to stay here. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake. It seems that this hotel and next to it the Phi Phi Andaman Beach Resort Is the same hotel with the same management just with different name To start with the positives — the staff are polite and helpful. Someone waited for us and other at the pier when we arrived with the ferry ⛴️ and helped transport the luggage to the hotel (about a 15-minute walk). Reception staff were friendly as well. That’s appreciated — but also fairly standard service in this area, Breakfast is acceptable there is enough variety to satisfy basic hunger. However, there is no proper coffee machine and the bread selection is disappointing. The baguette, for example, was dry. On the positive side, the dining area has a beautiful sea view. Honestly, the view is more satisfying than the food itself. The hotel itself is clearly neglected. The grass is burned and not maintained, trees and bushes are not trimmed, and the overall property looks like it hasn’t been properly cared for in a long time. The room lighting in the room is very poor. The bed is acceptable but the bathroom lighting is extremely weak I couldn't see myself shaving and the water pressure is barely enough for a normal shower. The air conditioner also works weakly and noisy Honestly, it’s hard to understand how management feels comfortable selling rooms in this condition. If the hotel doesn’t care about its guests, why should guests care about the hotel? Luckily, I booked only one night to test the place first. I’m leaving and moving somewhere else. And the pool the reason I chose this hotel in the first place was the biggest disappointment. The water is very warm and smells strongly of chlorine, tiles inside the pool are missing or broken, the internal steps feel unsafe, some chairs are torn, and some areas of the synthetic carpet are ripped. So yes — the pool looks nice from the outside. Just don’t make the mistake of getting closer.

MMininininiUpon arrival, things got off to a bit of a rough start. Room 210, while advertised with a sea view, had a very limited one, which wasn't a huge deal. The most unpleasant part was the leaky pipe by the toilet. My request to switch rooms with the front desk wasn't successful. After adjusting my mindset and accepting it, it was fine—the water was clean anyway, and I was there to relax, so no need to dwell on it. However, I do recommend the hotel renovates soon, otherwise, it's a waste of such a beautiful location. Summary: 1. The facilities are indeed old. The exterior looks okay, but the interior is too basic. Friends accustomed to five-star hotels might find it hard to adapt. I had to comfort my child and convince myself, but once I accepted it, it was fine. 2. If you want a true, unobstructed sea view room, be sure to communicate with the hotel beforehand. Only rooms starting with '1' will do. The higher the room number, the higher up the hill it is, so be prepared for a cardio workout every time you head back to your room. 3. The service was generally good. I didn't feel any prejudice or mistreatment towards Chinese guests. The porters who helped with luggage were the best. 4. Cat lovers will overlook all the negatives and fall in love with this place, just like my son. He initially complained about everything, but after bribing many cats with cat food to hang out on our balcony, he was very sad to leave.
