Hotel le Broceliande, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

I booked a night 15th October 2023 with this site and have been trying for a week to cancel without being able to! Phoning the hotel I was told I can only cancel via the site and the phone numbers don't work or email. I strongly recommend you do not book anything on this site or you too will be disappointed and let down!

Hotel.com do not use them! Literally seconds after realizing I booked rooms for 8-05 rather than 8-06, I called to fix it. ********** told me it was up to the hotel. The hotel showed me proof it was up to **********. I went back to them and they refused to help and charged me nearly $500.00 for rooms I never used.

Don’t trust Hotels .com. I missed a flight and had to book an airport hotel room in an emergency. Went to ********** and got a room at Wyndham Gardens for $354. They said it was a great deal. ********** charged my card the $354 as expected, then a few days later Wyndham also charged my card but for only $301. So much for the great deal. That was the first untruth. ********** was charging $50 more than the standard price for the room. I contacted ********** to report the double charges. ********** was the agent so I thought it was their responsibility to straighten out their partner. But they didn’t. They promised to contact Wyndham and resolve within 72 hours. Next email from ********** was a request for proof that Wyndham had billed me, so I sent a screen shot of my credit card account. Next email from ********** told me that they had contacted Wyndham who refused to refund the incorrect charge due to their “original policy.” They said they were very sorry but they couldn’t help. I didn’t understand that. Didn’t think it was Wyndham’s policy to just randomly double bill people. I called Wyndham directly and in two minutes they saw the error and agreed to refund it. In 20 minutes the credit was posted to my card account. I sent ********** an email just to tell them they were wrong and incompetent. (Yeah, I was mad.) And they replied saying they refused a refund because “we were not able to speak with the manager to confirm the charges.” So in one email they said they spoke with Wyndham, and in the other they said they didn’t. I was surprised and disgusted that they really didn’t try to fix the problem. A big part of their service is that you must be able to trust them. And really, you can’t trust the price and you can’t trust the service at **********.

Speaking with a live person on hotel.com is next to impossible and QUITE FRUSTRATING. I telephoned the company 3 times. During the first call I never spoke with anyone, only music for 32 minutes. The second call was 41 minutes of music and the third call was 1 hour and 17 minutes of music, I never spoke with a person. I recorded the second and third calls to have verified proof of what happened. Why do we as consumers accept this? I will not! To call a hotel directly may result in a slightly higher rate but at least I am getting better service by speaking with a person.
