The overall atmosphere was relaxing, and the location was very convenient. The room was facing aircraft take off view. One small suggestion for improvement would be to upgrade the power sockets in the rooms to include USB and Type-C charging ports. An excellent hotel for the price. I've stayed at other hotels near Daxing Airport before, and this one is second to none. The room is huge, clean, and stylish. The shower with classical music is a true balm for the soul. I didn't hear any noise from the neighbors, but I could hear the sound of planes taking off. I don't know if I've noticed this before in other hotels. Although plane noise doesn't bother me at all, I'll mention this fact in case it matters to others. The staff is helpful. When booking, I noted that the airport bus runs every half hour and no reservations are required. I stood there for 40 minutes and there was no bus. After finally contacting the airport information desk to have them contact the hotel, the bus arrived within 10 minutes. Therefore, I still recommend not wasting your time and contacting the information desk directly upon arrival. The return transfer to the airport was hassle-free; they got me there in exactly 5 minutes. Everything would have been perfect, except for the cigarette stench in the room. When booking, it was stated that the room was non-smoking, and I checked the ”cigarette odor removal” box. I was delighted when I checked in. The diffusers smelled wonderful everywhere, but within half an hour, the entire room reeked of cigarette smoke and didn't dissipate until morning. The smell came from the shower vent. It was very strange to wash with the fragrant shampoos provided by the hotel in the smoking area. I'm afraid there's nothing I can do about this problem, as smoking is the norm in China. But I think it's very important for those who get headaches all day after smelling cigarette smoke. For this reason, I reluctantly downgraded the ”amenities” rating. If not for this factor, the hotel exceeded all my expectations, considering its price in this area.
