Needs full renovation. Especially the bathroom. The hotel is near from the China world mall!

Great location but very dated inside. WiFi was hopeless and super unstable. Was not able to work from the hotel room at all.

hard to get cars in and out of Guomao area, especially during traffic hours. People who need to travel frequently should consider this fact! Many good restaurants nearby but need to search for them, recommand using Gaode Map or Baidu Map to search. So many restaurants and shops nearby

The room was clean and spacious. The hotel gave us a free upgrade to the king sized bed which was nice.

There is nothing to rave about this hotel other than it’s location. It’s connected to the China world Mall and has access to Line1 and 10 of the subway which is a major plus for getting around.
The rooms are very very dated and old, the AC doesn’t function too well but works weakly to keep the room bearable.
The toilets are from the 90s, very old, the shower with a dirty bath tub is just that. There is a smelly shower curtain and black mould all over. It’s just functional. Won’t be a comfortable shower but one where you get in and get out.
The hotel is barely 2 stars.
I am not sure if I will stay here again as there are other similar priced hotels nearby such as Jinglun but the location is a further 5mins walk from the China World area. So it a matter of location vs a better room.
I guess if you are just there to sleep and hardly in the room, it works, otherwise….

It is a nostalgic hotel with decorations when Guomao was build.
The location is very good in case you need to go around Guomao or you like to take metro.
Breakfast is more Chinese kitchen.
Service I experienced very friendly.

We booked this hotel for our parents as it was conveniently located to attend a visa appointment. When they arrived, the hotel told them that there was no booking because the hotel is not accepting Trip.com reservation. The attitude of the receptionists was rude and impatient. They made my parents call us overseas on their personal phone (expense all for them). When we explained to them that we paid for the reservation, they said that they do not have contract with Trip.com. The attitude was extremely impatient. Finally we called Trip.com and they have sorted out. When we called them back later, they told us that our parents were in the room now, no excuse, impatient again. Overall, the attitude of that receptionist was shocking, the worse customer service we have ever seen. Our parents are quite old and have been badly treated when they arrived, which we feel very unconfortable. The day after, there was another receptionist, who by contrast was very helpful to our parents.
There was no land phone in the room, and the mobile phone signal was also poor. We booked a room of ca. 600 RMB for two people but the room was small and there was only one chair.
