My eyes were caught by a sudden price drop for 北京西苑飯店 so I booked it without any hesitation as it is rated as a five-star hotel. The hotel is a little farther from the subway station than I thought~400 meters. When I arrived I was told to ”walk around the compound” to my building. Well, it was another 400-meter walk. When I reach ”Building 6” I instantly realized why the deal was so good: dim lighting, no elevator, wide-open front door ( mosquitos are welcome!). The watchman was nice enough to offer to carry my luggage to the third floor. The first night restless: mosquito attacks! I complained to the front desk and the nice lady offered me an ”electric mosquito repelling incense”. The moral of the story? Watch out for the incredibly low price offers. The facility was part of the old government dormitories and no incentives to renovate them. The ”five-star” part was the later edition but they advertise the entire facility as ”five-star” so if you think you hit a jackpot, watch out!

This hotel is very comfortable. The bed is plush and firm. The building was clean. The bathroom has a shower and tub. Television was suitable. The price is slightly high but average for the area. When I first tried do book, it was about 800 CNY so I went with a different hotel for cheaper. Then that hotel was not worth it so I came here. The price was better by getting there the same day versuses paying in advance so it was a great deal. I didn't see any of the Amenities or breakfast options since I only stayed overnight for an event in the area. I do recommend staying here. And I would stay here again!

Advantages: The hotel is in a good location and covers many business centers. The rooms are very large, the facilities are new, and the interior of the room is relatively spacious and comfortable. Disadvantages: Parking is difficult to find, and the security guard at the door does not provide guidance. In 2024, there are actually luxury hotels that charge deposits, the rooms are weird, you have to pay for extra water, and the wine bar is empty. The exterior glass was so dirty that I couldn't see clearly. Overall comment: The hardware is okay, but the software is poor. Everything is futile. In terms of pure business hotels, it is also at a lower than average level.

The location is perfect: we visited TV Tower, Beijing Zoo, Aquarium and Wangfujin street. The hotel is very beautiful, but a little bit old-fashioned. I think, it needs renovation. Anyway, I recommend it.

This summer vacation, Hanting Home Inn is more expensive than Shangri-La, and the real experience is true! First of all, the location is good, 5-10 minutes walk from Wanshou Temple Station of the subway. The disadvantage is that the time between trains on Line 16 is long. Located on the third ring road, it takes about half an hour to go to the Forbidden City and Summer Palace by subway. Unicom Suite is extremely cost-effective! Two families come to live, the average family is 1,000 a night, and there are administrative benefits, which cover breakfast and dinner. Save time going out to find food. The administrative treatment is very good, and the water is 8 yuan a bottle. However, coconut juice and whiskey are only provided if you ask for it, which is a bit petty here. After completing the Muztag climb, I made a special trip to Beijing to have dinner with mountain friends. I chose the Xinjiang Mansion • Muztag Restaurant and stayed in the guest building of Xinjiang Mansion. Xinjiang Building has a beautiful environment, convenient transportation, and clean rooms, but it is too cumbersome to use the room card for dining in the lobby bar and restaurant, and I hope it can be improved.

The hotel is one of the blocks of the cluster of hotels of the same name (though different , they are all named 新疆 hotels...). So there is more space to walk around outside the hotel. There are 2 small gardens with tall beautiful trees, very nice. One hotel has a restaurant and it also serves as the site for breakfast. The breakfast is very good with a lot of dishes and some of the dishes change everyday. You will feel very safe to walk around at night as there are many guards around. The hotel is just by the side of a subway station which is very convenient but there are no shops and restaurants around so buying and eating food is not easy. But this is the same phenomenon in most of the subway stations in Beijing
