"I originally wanted to book a female-only dorm, but it was already sold out. I really liked the hostel and the location, so before booking I called the reception to ask about it. I was told that if a female-only room became available they could place me there, and if not, they would put me in a mixed dorm with more female guests. I also mentioned this again during check-in. But in the end I was placed in a room with five men and no other female guests at all. As a solo female traveler, this honestly made me feel really uncomfortable and anxious the whole night. What made the experience worse was the attitude of the male staff member working at night, a man with long curly hair. I was already very nervous and just politely asked whether there were any other girls staying in the room, but he looked annoyed and kept saying “but you booked a mixed dorm” instead of actually answering my question. I understand what a mixed dorm is, but after being given completely different expectations before arrival, the whole situation made me feel very unsafe and uncared for. I will never recommend this hostel to others. Really made me so disappointed."

"Hospitality is great. Location is very near to tram station around 200m which is accessible to town area. There are good food around the hotel especially in Almada area. Overall is good. Recommended to people who don’t want to stay in Lisbon town. This is a great choice."

"Booked this hotel for its close proximity to the airport. Very happy with the room as it’s spacious and theres a decent sized table to put your things and also still space for laptop. Toilet is also spacious. Another plus point is that the room is not carpeted so it’s not too icky. Nice touch about the hotel is the free drinks at the lobby. Just across the road Theres a big Lidl so you can buy snacks. Theres not much around the area but it’s good for those who want to be near the airport."
