The last time I stayed there during New Year's, I received a coupon for a suite, so I used it. Tsubaki Suite is a wooden Heike villa located in a garden, but the garden is on the entrance side, so I couldn't enjoy the view. There are two rooms with spacious rooms and verandas that can be used, but there were places where the floor looked like it was going to fall out, probably because it had been a long time since then. It was convenient because there was a private open-air bath right in front of us. We had our meals at the dining hall. Unlike the extravagant New Year's dishes, the portions were ordinary and just the right amount for the elderly and women. Toyosenso is within walking distance of Beppu's station and shopping district, so I enjoyed strolling around the townscape.

焼酎バーが良かった。いいちこと西の星が飲めました。麦焼酎飲みやすかった。次の日に残らないのがいい。いいちこも西の星も同じ蔵の様。他の蔵のも並ぶと最高。部屋にマッサージチェアがあるのも良かった。お風呂上がりにゆっくりくつろげました。お風呂は掛け流し。少々熱いお湯でした。 食事は席で。バイキングではないのでこれもゆっくりできました。団子汁は団子ではなく、ほうとうのような太く短い麺でした。 とにかくのんびりくつろげました。
